I have this thing with Sudoku, where I’m obsessed with it. Easiest 5* for me, haha.
But, no, honestly, I can never have enough books with Sudoku puzzles. This one also has detailed instructions in the beginning, which makes it great for those that are beginners. And the monsters throughout the book are so cute.
Thank you NetGalley and BookBaby for accepting my request to read and review Mini Monster Sudoku.

Hours of fun once you learn how to play. The colorful and friendly monsters visually project a good time. This does require parental guidance and teaching. Process of elimination was something I wouldn't begin to know how to explain to a six year old. The instructions are clear, but again I'm not sold on a 6-year-old.
I would gift this knowing I may be the one working with the child. This in combination with a word seek and a jigsaw puzzle makes a nice gift. The premise of not guessing and to apply logic can be carried on outside these puzzles.
I did enjoy learning Sudoku = the digits must occur only once.
This is a great book for sudoku beginners!
The beginning of the book has detailed instructions on how to complete a sudoku puzzle. Cute little monsters help you along to understand the puzzles, in a fun way. Lots of vibrant color and happy monsters!
After you learn how to complete the puzzles, there are fifty sudokus to fill in. The back of the book has all the answers to the puzzles.
This would make a great gift for anyone that is interested in number puzzles!

If you enjoy sudoku to help with destress, this is one is a good one. The puzzles a a little on the easier side as the are created for age 6 and up. This is great book for younger kids or parents to work with their kids.
My 10 year old daughter and I reviewed this book together. We liked how simple the directions were. As a Sudoku playing adult, I liked that they gave tips about making notes in each square. This helped my daughter visually understand how the different numbers could possibly be placed (and why they wouldn't be the correct fit). The end puzzles were nice, it will be great when we get our hands on a physical copy of the book and she can properly fill them out.
Thank you to NetGalley, LMD Jones, and BookBaby publishers for allowing us to use this book in advance of its release.
Mini Monster Sudoku was a great example to learn to play sudoku. My oldest has always been interested in sudoku, as they see me playing, and this has been a great way to explain it. I liked the examples they offered and how the illustrations show what to do next.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC
Would you like to learn how to play this very popular brain game? If so, this title contains very detailed and clear explanations for how to fill in a Sudoku grid. The little monsters add some color to the explanations.
Following the detailed lesson, fifty puzzles follow. By the time that they are finished, it will be possible to be an accomplished solve. Sound good? Give this one a look.
Many thanks to NetGalley and BookBaby. All opinions are my own.
