i'm literally so obsessed with this book*. okay cassie is a college student in desperate need of money and it seems like the universe is on her side when she gets a job as a nanny to a hot single dad (aiden) EXCEPT she soon discovers that her new employer was a verrrry loyal customer of her now deleted onlyfans account. she recognizes him but he has no clue who she really is. so now she's stuck between telling him who she really is and trying stop the feelings developing between the two of them.

the vibes:
- dual POV
- age gap (he's 31 she's 25)
- single dad
- second chance (sort of)
- insta attraction
- so many steamy scenes! 3/5 steam rating
- dirtytalk!
- great banter
- really funny

*as obsessed as i was with this book i just couldn't give it 5 stars because theres this scene where the consent is a bit questionable and it made me feel a tad uncomfortable but i haven't seen anyone else mention it so maybe it's just me.

This book exceeded my expectations!

I was a little skeptical coming into this book knowing that it would be about a nanny falling in love with the child's father. I was immediately assuaged learning that the nanny, Cassie Evans, isn't a vulnerable and helpless young girl, but instead is a highly intelligent woman in her mid 20s looking for a job that can hold her over until she's done with school.

I was also pleased that Aiden wasn't a typical sleazy, too-old dad that didn't care about his kid until the nanny showed up. Aiden loves his daughter deeply but is just unable to care for her 24/7 with his demanding chef job.

The romance isn't insta-love but more of a slow burn. Their chemistry is wild, and I love how well they compliment one another! I would absolutely recommend this book to any romance lover out there.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

I’m really struggling with reviewing this one. There are things I enjoyed and others I really didn’t care for. First of all, I really love the title, cover, and synopsis for the story. All three of those things are what made me jump to read this one. This story has the single dad trope which is one I usually enjoy. Sadly, this story was way too insta-love. That instantly turns me off in a story but sometimes the writing/characters can save it but not this time. I found the characters to be fine, not special or unique in any way. Honestly, they all felt a little generic. While the synopsis sounded good, I feel like the plot took a back seat to all of the smut. I’m not someone who minds smut in romances but I do still want a plot. Overall, I found this one to be just okay and almost even DNF at certain points. I do think the majority will love this one so I would still recommend it.

Thank you so much @berkleyromance for the gifted copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lana Ferguson is a steam queen! I loved this one so much. The writing style sucked me in right away and the development of the romance was perfect. Loved!

This was a hard book for me to finish. While the spicy scenes were incredibly spicy, I found the story to be kinda slow. If you’re looking for a book with A LOT of spicy scenes, this is an excellent one to pick up. Just wasn’t for me.

kind of unbelievable and pretty cheesy, but had me eager to see what happened next. the writing feels a bit simple, and sometimes the characters could be frustrating - how long it took cassie to come clean once she recognized aiden bugged me but also i get it, got to keep the tension high and all. all in all good, i would rec if you’re looking for something not too difficult but still effectively spicy.

I really had high hopes for this book, and don’t get me wrong there isn’t anything specifically wrong with it. It’s a decent book that I’m sure will have a good following, it just wasn’t something for me.
The first half of the book has the characters being awkward with each other and omg! Lana is such a good writer because I even got secondhand embarrassment. I think this is what made it hard for me to read. But if I didn’t read it then I would’ve missed out on my favorite character, Wanda. I honestly hope to be as cool as her one day, hell we could all use some Wanda’s in our lives!
The plot was decent if not predictable and the characters were likable. I’m looking forward to what else this author will come out with in the future.

This felt like a comfort read to me. It hit all the right places by giving the reader an adorable kid, a sassy neighbor, and sexual tension and steam that will make you blush. And trust me l, this book is not for the bashful. Even though it’s a straightforward book and predictable in the plot, it was filled with laugh out loud moments and characters that had some depth to their personalities.

Cassie was more than her OnlyFans page and I enjoyed how the author took a taboo topic and normalized it for the reader. She isn’t shamed for her past, but rather the author showcased a strong, independent woman who valued her education and had the biggest heart. Though Aiden struggles with the guilt working parents encounter, he flourished in the role that was thrust upon him. I enjoy that the author challenged him emotionally and gave him more depth than your average sexy chef. Their connection was classic and grew organically.

I think this was a solid debut and I cannot wait to see what this author writes next. Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for the ARC

I absolutely loved this book! This book is about a woman who needs a job but can't go back to her OnlyFans account so she decides to nanny for a very hot chef that has a secret of his own. I was hooked from page one of this book because Ferguson's writing is addicting and couldn't stop reading. I binge-read this book in about 2 days. Would have finished one if I didn't have classes. Ferguson has the writing style that you look for but can never find. The storyline was perfect with great conflicts. There are scenes that will forever live rent-free in my head. The pacing was perfect and I enjoyed the setting. The povs and snippets of Cassie's OnlyFans days were a perfect balance in this book. Also, let me mention that the cover is so cute!

This book is mainly from Cassie's pov with some of Aiden's thrown in at times. I enjoyed learning about Cassie and how she developed in the book. She is such an amazing person and easy to relate to. Aiden is pretty much the Atlas we were looking for in It Ends With Us. I LOVE him and thought he was so caring and was trying hard to make sure everything in his life was balanced with his child, Cassie, and work. There were great side characters like Wanda and Sophie who I both enjoyed reading about. The romance was work romance and friend to lovers which was very steamy.

The ending was well done and I really enjoyed reading this book. I had no problems with it and gave it all the stars it deserves. I was so glad to have the chance to read an early copy of this book. You will not be disappointed readers because this is the new booktok book. I can't wait to see what else Ferguson will come out with because I will be there to read it.

The review will be posted on my Instagram and Amazon during pub week. I'm going to create a book aesthetic video for my TikTok also.

This is a personal five-stars, despite the fact that it made me realize how long OnlyFans has been around. The complete coincidence of Cassie being hired as a nanny to the man who was her biggest supporter when she was previously working as a cam girl was a stretch, but it was easy to suspend that disbelief. The power of grief was a constant presence, and was handled well between Cassie and the aunt who resented her. Wanda was easily a favorite character - the sassy septuagenarian best friend needs to be the new trope we all love!

If you are not a fan of spice.... you can kindly move along. ;-)
The Nanny is F-U-L-L of spicy scenes and open door (kitchen?) moments. With that out of the way, The Nanny really was a great book! Cassie is funny and so relatable (minus the whole Only Fans thing...) and Aiden is the single dad jackpot. swoon.

Their original meeting is anything but conventional(!!) and when reintroduced months later they don't even realize they've actually met before. Their chemistry is off the charts and they both try to deny it (hello, she's THE NANNY) until they just can't. Eventually the truth comes out and they are left to decide if their relationship is worth the risk. While the book can be graphic at times, there is an underlying storyline that is heartwarming. And Cassie is just so darn likable! I was pleasantly surprised by this book - I initially skipped over requesting an ARC of it because it didn't sound like "my usual" read, but I'm glad I came back and gave it a second chance.

Than you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group, Berkley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Cassie needs a job and a place to stay ASAP. She's working on her degree as an occupational therapist and just lost her job. At one point in time Cassie did have an OnlyFans account, but she deleted it after she got too attached to a client and doesn't plan to fire it up again anytime soon. So when Cassie answers an ad for a live in nanny and manages to get the job - she's ecstatic! So what if her boss, Aiden is hot. Cassie can manage to keep her hands and thoughts to herself while she's strictly professional. Except the more time Aiden and Cassie start spending together, the more mutual attraction grows. And when Cassie discovers that she knew Aiden or rather A during her brief stint on OnlyFans, will she be able to keep their relationship strictly platonic or risk blowing everything up by opening up to Aiden.

Okay, first of all The Nanny was 🔥🔥🔥. I loved the flashbacks in between chapters between Cici and A (that would be Aiden and Cassie). Their interactions when they were on OnlyFans were so HOT. And when Cassie discovers that Aiden is actually A - ahhh I loved that moment. And Aiden was such a sweet cinnamon roll but did he know how to bring the dirty talk. Their chemistry was undeniable and I loved their sweet and flirty banter.

I loved each and every secondary character in this book. For being a person who's not really a fan of single parent tropes, I loved the relationship that Aiden had with his daughter Sophie. Sophie was going through a lot of grief after the loss of her mother and I loved that Cassie gives her space to come around and truly wants what is best for her and Aiden. I also really enjoyed the relationship that Cassie had with Wanda. Their interactions truly made me laugh out loud! They were funny, but also sweet and relevant to the storyline.

The Nanny completely surprised me and in the best way! Overall I would give this book between 4 and 4.5 stars! Can't wait to read the next book by Lana Ferguson.

Read this debut in two sittings—it was a a fun one! Sexy and full of heart and humor. It doesn’t reinvent the romance genre wheel or anything, but it doesn’t need to. It does exactly what it should—it’s a sexy escape with a happy ending, which is exactly why I like to read romance novels after a string of heavier titles. I especially loved the snarky, spunky, and wise 72 year old character of Wanda.

Thanks #netgalley!

So initially I really enjoyed this book.
Then some things kind of gave me an ick.

Nanny trope for me is fine when there isn’t a huge age gap. But as a mom of young children nanny trope sometimes makes me self conscious. Anyway. I went in with an open mind because it sounded cute.

The premise that he subscribes to her only fans just made me feel ick. I wanted to like this but I just really couldn’t get passed this.

However. It’s delightfully smutty in that aspect. Everything from praise, dirty talk, and toys. So quite the difference from the vanilla romcoms out there. But also a warning if that’s what you want. Either way I feel like this is polarizing and I’m on the wrong end for half of it while enjoying the other half.

3 stars. MAYBE 3.5 because I liked the writing and I would read from this author again

The romance plot is simple and straightforward - a nanny who falls for the single dad. The book relies for its interest in the x-rated, open door sex scenes and situations which I found intriguing but just a bit over the top.

The book should come with a warning for those who might or might not like such explicit descriptions in their romance reads.

“My palm lingers against her cheek, and in that clear blue sky of her eyes, I can see my whole life looking back at me.”

Cassie and Aiden. She’s a former adult content creator (OnlyFans) and she’s in need of a job. He needs a live-in nanny to take care of his daughter. Cassie soon discovers that her biggest fan happens to be the man she’s living under the same roof with.

A MUST READ! This book is deliciously spicy and wholesome at the same time! Wanda and Sophie stole the show. I loved their friendship!

I’m in heaven! Nope, quick correction : I must be in hell because I’m sweating a lot! It’s extremely hot in here! Hyperventilating might be side effect of reading something extremely saucy, tempting, naughty, entertaining, addictive!

Nanny exceeded my expectations! The chemistry between Cici and A. is extremely hot! Again another quick correction: they are Cassie and Aiden. Nanny and her chef/ super hot daddio boss!

When Cassie loses her job in the children hospital, her plans to keep a roof above her head and pay her school tuitions sound like impossible plan to her! She needs a job covering her expanses urgently! Her dreams come through so fast than she expected when she answers an ad for live-in nanny position and gets summoned to an interview with her future boss at the restaurant he works at.

He’s a chef! He’s extremely hot! And Cassie feels like she knows him from somewhere! And interestingly after having her worst kind of humiliating interview, Aiden still wants her to accept the job and meet with her tough cookie nine years old daughter Sophie who recently loses her mother. ( Don’t worry! Aiden was not married with the mother of Sophie. They had an one night stand ten years ago and they decided to stay friends for sharing custody. )

Cassie finds a way to crash the walls Sophie built around and they become connected in a short time. She even finds a way to be friendly with judgmental Iris who is the aunt of Sophie, insisting Aiden is not a role model father!

But Cassie has hard time to resist the charm of her boss! And she finds a big secret about him. When Cassie worked as a camgirl for OnlyFans account to make extra money for school tuition, she fell for her customer she had several private sessions. Their sessions turned something more intimate and they decided to have a face to face meeting eventually. But her customer got cold feet and ghosted her. So she felt broken-hearted and deleted her account. Now she finds out the man she virtually felt so hard is the same man she’s ogling daily ! It’s her hot boss!

Cassie has to keep this secret and resist the charms of her boss if she doesn’t want to lose her job! Easier said than done because Aiden also cannot hold himself each time they are in the same room. How will they stop themselves before tearing each other’s clothes and let their high chemistry gets in the driver’s seat?

I love this book so much! Main characters were incredible! I became a big fan of Wanda! And I loved Sophie so much, totally agreed with her Encanto obsession and not to talk about Bruno!

Absolutely recommend it to the romance lovers! Giving my hot, stimulating, exceptional five stars!
I need more Lara Ferguson books ASAP! She absolutely made my week!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts.

CW: parental abandonment (past), heart attack (side character), death of a parent (past), grief

I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)

-m/f contemporary romance
-idiots to lovers
-roommance
-insta attraction
-second chance elements
-single parent
-steamy

I really enjoyed this book, it was just a lot of fun and really appreciated how the sex was depicted, without shame, consensually and just enthusiastically. Cassie, a former OnlyFans girl, decides to snatch up a nannying job, and finds the most attractive man she's ever met who also happens to be her biggest fan she was starting to fall for..

I loved all of the close-proximity goodness in this, adored Sophie a tenacious and appropriately moody nine year old who made Cassie work for it. Wanda the best friend extraordinaire who always said it like it was. The different elements of family and no matter what age you are you are still figuring it out.

And sweet gone on Cassie and adorable single father Aiden who wasn't perfect (his poor pancakes) but was adorably sweet, giving Cassie the family she had been looking for her entire life. I loved how all of the tropes were used to add to the story as Aiden and Cassie tried to deny the attraction and then tried to figure out what they were.

This was a great debut and I can't wait to read more from this author

✨Sweet baby Guy Fieri I’ve been taken to FLAVOR town✨

This book is now my entire personality. It’s my wish on a shooting star (I JUST WANT A HOT DADDY CHEF OKAY??). It’s my white whale. In layman’s terms (a thing a character played by Steve Carell once said): It’s the perfect combination of sexy and cute.

From the beginning, Ferguson’s writing style was basically tailored to my every desire. The story moved fast and light without getting caught up in extra flowery details or metaphors. The sex scenes were some of the hottest I’ve encountered in a trad pub contemporary romance. And. There. Were. So. Many. Lana Ferguson is the gift that keeps on giving all year long: Toys, explicit language + dirty talk, fun positions, PRAISE. So. Much. Praise. (We fucking did it Joe, we got that good girl she says with tears in her eyes and patriotism in her heart.)

The book was dual POV, but mainly centered around Cassie’s narrative. When Aiden’s sections begin, the tension is through the roof because they’re so strategically and sparingly placed. I haven’t seen many books with an imbalance like that and god I adore it. Before nearly every chapter, there were sections from their OnlyFans conversations that WORKED SO WELL. I’m normally not a fan of fillers like that but sweet baby Guy Fieri I’ve been taken to FLAVOR TOWN.

I loved the cast of characters and each of their arcs and stories. I’m such a sucker for found family and Sophie was such a cute little prickly pear. The summary promised a LOT, and the book delivered in spades.

Cassie just felt so relatable despite the fact that she was getting wined and dined by a hot daddy chef every night. Never have I wanted to relate more. She was self aware and stood up for herself and others. Aiden was a treat in the streets and a FEAST in the sheets. I’m convinced there’s no better fictional profession than a dominant daddy chef. Cassie was like thank god I don’t have a daddy kink and I was like Jesus Christ can’t relate anymore 😮‍💨

The breakup was a bit rough and predictable but the wrongdoer held themselves accountable, so I can’t be too mad. Also he didn’t cook for her like at all?? He was a hot chef doing very well for himself please give me that food porn content!!! I want Lobster Thermidor and many orgasms. Also something deep fried and covered in chocolate. Or other things covered in chocolate. We got some great cameos of the chef jacket though…

Those were basically my only two notes because this book was the best time. The Nanny (and the Daddy) was literally so hot and so perfect!!! Lana Ferguson has a forever fan in me. Her next book is a complete swerve into shifter romance but I sure will be reading it. The teaser was already addictive and I need answers!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️.75/5
