I absolutely loved this contemporary romance! It checks all the boxes you want in a cartoon cover romance: an awkward but lovable main character, a super hot love interest, a precocious child, and the sassy (and elderly!) best friend. Seriously, Wanda is our QUEEN. Oh, and it has ALL the spice. Lana is a master at crafting scenes—this book is HOT.

I really appreciated some of the unexpected turns that this book took, as it kept me guessing. It’s low stakes so little stress on the reader, which I love, but the climaxes (ha, see what I did there) are so relatable. You want to scream at both Cassie and Aiden at times, but even the “villain” is someone whose motives you’ll grow to understand.

Lana Ferguson is an author to watch—I can’t wait to read all of her future books and see how high she soars.

This was a DNF for me. The characters were boring and even the sexy parts were difficult to get through for me. I felt like the character were very one dimensional and lacked any depth. I didn't care about either of them. Pass for me.

I love a good Nanny/Single Dad trope, but this one fell flat as the story went on. It felt too insta-love for me and, while I don't mind that, it didn't work for me in this instance. It was good and spicy, which was what I was looking for when I began this book, but overall it did not hit the way I wanted it to.

Overall, I liked it. Some of the events were overly convenient to the story, but overall it was a nice plod along of life just happening.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC.

I really liked this book. Both Cassie and Aiden were characters I really liked and wanted to root for. I love Sophie too and I was dreading them being found out. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what happened when Cassie revealed her secret, and I just really enjoyed the book overall.

This was cute and diverting enough, managing to be both sweet and sexy, but I felt like the big misunderstanding over the past was something the heroine could have easily figured out if she'd thought about it for two seconds. Still a fun way to spend a couple of hours, though, and I will request future titles by this author! Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.

What would you do when you realize your boss is the person who was chatting/watching you on your OnlyFans page?

Cassie is down on her luck, she is about to get kicked out of her apartment, when she finds a job a live in nanny. Even though her 70 some year old neighbor tells her to start up her booby cams and maybe that guy (alacarte) who abruptly left is back. Her new boss and, Sophies dad is easy on the eyes. She can't help but feel things for him, the same things she felt for alacarte. Due to an unfortunate spill and using his shirt to clean up the mess Cassie spots a very familiar looking scar. The same one that alacarte had.

This was cute. I kind of felt a bit creeped out by the main guy but overall no bad vibes or necessarily any good vibes. Did feel a bit too long and dragged on, also wish there was just more conflict resolution between all the characters especially the aunt.

THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE! I was fighting for any spare minute to pick up this book the past few days. The chemistry of this couple, the sweet sweet sweet moments, the humor, everything was just so lovely and I can’t wait to get a physical copy of my shelf.

I usually don’t read a ton of books with romance that involve children, but Sophie was so lovable and found myself enjoying scenes with her almost as much as scenes with the couple (almost). Highly recommend!!

4.5 stars. What a fun debut. Grad student Cassie can’t believe her luck when she finds a great paying job nannying for a chef’s daughter with free room and board. Her ten year old charge is prickly but endearing, and single father Aiden is smart and generous…and ridiculously hot. When Cassie figures out that she and Aiden had a previous connection (ahem) online, she must decide whether it’s worth jeopardizing whatever is growing between them now.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt like some of Cassie’s past trauma doesn’t get properly dealt with, but hopefully she’s getting some therapy off-page.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

When a hot chef hires a graduate student to be his live-in nanny, not knowing that he used to watch her on OnlyFans, things get hot fast. This debut from Lana Ferguson and spicy and an absolute delight. Almost like a cross between Rosie Danan's THE ROOMMATE and THE NANNY DIARIES, you get everything you want from this premise.

This book is going to be a blockbuster hit because this book was so good; somebody better mark my words!! The story is so unique and is exceptionally well written, the dialogues are easily flowing and full of wit. The characters are super adorable and the ending super cute. So, in short, it’s one of the easiest 5 stars I have ever given. Can’t wait for it to be out and about so that I can recommend it to almost everyone!

This was so so good! I loved the plot, I loved the characters - Sexy Single Father? Yes please! I thought the drama felt a little forced but I suppose something needed to pull them apart to let them get back together again!

Definitely looking forward to putting this on my bookshelf!

Thanks for the early copy!
