My daughter (5) and I greatly enjoyed this story. We were grasping for volume two as soon as we read the last page.
The graphics were well done and the flow of the story was effortless. I enjoyed the drama and the many personalities brought into the prophetic adventures.
I had a great time reading this graphic novel. We meet young horses from four different tribes who don’t always get along too well. But when it looks like a prophecy might finally come true, they must come together for an important mission. Along the way they will face many dangers and learn new things about themselves. As this graphic novel comes to a close it is clear this adventure is far from over.
The four warring herds must come together when the Guardians are chosen to fulfill the quest to find the magical yearling. The fire prince, water general's daughter, stuck up air herd girl, and oblivious earth boy do not get along. How are they ever going to work together to find the yearling?
It's a cute book aimed at elementary/middle school aged children. The name of the villain group is so cheesy!
