Embracing Love is book 4 in the Rescue Me series, but I enjoyed it as a standalone. The romance is slow-burn and sweet. I loved the dogs, Braveheart and Kitten. Connor's dog, Kitten, had a very original name. The bakery Sasha works at was very atmospheric. After what she'd been through, it had a "safe place" atmosphere.

Sasha and Connor simply pull on your heartstrings to such an extent. Sasha has endured a lot and is attempting to remake her life. A piece of that is building a relationship with her tragically missing, sibling. Through that, she has met and fabricated a ton of companionships. One of which is Connor. Connor has kept down and is in every case very cautious around Sasha to guarantee she is dependably agreeable and has her space. Things begin to foster between the two yet her previous comes up and stirs up her life alongside Connor. Can they rescue their relationship or will they head out in a different direction?

The book is elegantly composed. It handles a few dull components with care and generosity. There is a superb silly component all through too.

A really good story about two people finding love and starting over. Really a lot of the big emotional part is from the Sasha character and her relationship with her ex who abused her and did more than just that to where at times she is afraid to go out at night or in big crowds, amongst other things. She is working at starting over in life. It is sad to think there are people out there like her but I know that there are and the author has done a good job at dealing with many different issues. Some were serious and a few were funny at times. Both Connor and Sasha work on the relationship and it is not one that just happens. A good story with good characters.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Sasha and Connor. Sasha is the owner of a bakery. Connor remodels houses and businesses. There is an instant attraction. Sasha is coming off a hurtful relationship. Connor ask her out on a date, she handles her with kid gloves. They each have some issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Complementary copy from NetGalley for my honest review and opinion. Broken women and hot blue collar men are the center of this book. Great character build up. Great romance.

Sasha's past has left its scars upon her in many ways, one of which is that she's skittish about being close to people, especially men. But there's something about Connor that's caught her eye. He's so sweet, and she can't seem to do anything but fumble for words around him. Will she ever let him past her guards and into her heart the way he so wants?

Connor's off his game around Sasha. He knows about her past, so has to tread delicately around her. If he can get the words out of his mouth properly, he'll ask her on a date, and woo her gently the way she deserves. If he has his way, he will get past those walls and to her heart, which is what he really wants.

Wow, this is one emotionally fraught story. Sasha has been through something I wouldn't wish on anyone, but she came through it all the stronger. She's got a strong backbone, a big heart, and walls of defenses that Connor was just dying to scale. I love how absolutely sweet and swoony he is with her, and how she finally opens up to him. I'm not sure what's next in this series, but I am definitely looking forward to the next couple to find love.

Sasha had been beaten down on many levels. Despite that, she wanted to improve her life and worked at it. Connor felt that pull toward Sasha and tried to take his time and keep his distance until she was ready. The chemistry was there, and Sasha took the chance for happiness. I enjoyed the story, though I felt that it dragged at times.

I received a copy of this story through Xpresso Tours on Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.

Sasha and Connor just tug on your heartstrings so much. Sasha has survived so much and is trying to rebuild her life. Part of that is building a relationship with her long lost brother. Through that she has met and built a lot of friendships. One of which is Connor. Connor has held back and is always super careful around Sasha to make sure she is always comfortable and has her space. Things start to develop between the two but her past comes up and shakes up her life along with Connor. Will they be able to salvage their relationship or will they go their own way? Book 4 in the series, but can be read alone. This is Connor and Sasha's story. Both have issues and yet find their way to each other. Good balance of characters, and of course there is dogs and kids around. Fun story and hard to put down. would recommend.

New to me author.
Book 4 in the series.

While it took me a little to get into this story (and it could be since I didn’t read the previous stories in the series), I thought this was an enjoyable read about two people who are clearly attracted to each other. Sadly, Sasha had been mentally and physically abused in her last relationship which has left her in a bad place. She doesn’t easily trust. Connor became a man-whore after him and his wife ended things. Now he has to prove to Sasha and her brother how much she means to him.

The book takes you through an emotional roller coaster. You'll fall I love with them and you'll want to through the book across the room. It's a book that will leave you wanting more and you're rooting for them to be together. I loved every moment and I can't wait for the next book!
