Katee Robert does it again! Although, we had no doubt she would. Radiant Sin is the 4th published book in this 11 book series. They're more of a read-alone yet interconnected set and man do I devour every single one. This retelling of classic Greek mythology and characters with modern themes and a whole bunch of spice are addictive. Katee does a phenomenal job at expanding the world of Olympus with every novel and Radiant Sin is no different, especially as it expands pasts the walls into the bigger world. Do yourself a favor and dive on in (but start with Neon Gods!)

Katee Robert never disappoints. Serving up intriguing plot based in Greek myth and ever so excellent spice, this Apollo and Cassandra story was everything I wanted it to be. I cannot wait to dive into Radiant Sin and all of the subsequent tales in this world to come!

Really enjoyed this preview of the next installment of the Dark Olympus series. Robert really knows how to write a fun & steamy romance while still giving the reader a plot to follow. This preview gives a great peak at the set up for the book. Excited to read the whole thing!

I absolutely love the beginning of this book. Katee Robert is my automatic buy author. I cannot wait for the rest of this book as well as the rest of the series.

I recommend this series to absolutely everyone I know.

Thank you NetGalley for this opportunity in exchange for an honest review

This preview was a gift and a curse for someone trying to pace out new reads. These series just keeps getting better and better. Each book I wonder how invested I can get into the characters, especially depending on their pasts, but her storytelling always wins out in the end. I cannot wait to read the full novel.

TBH the third book, Wicked Beauty, which appears to set up some of the conflict in Radiant Sin, is still sitting on my tbr shelf. I had fun with Neon Gods and Electric Idol but just haven't made it to that third book yet. That didn't keep me from being able to dive straight into Radiant Sin though, so if you're in my same boat you should be able to pick up on the big events from the third book fairly quickly and easily.

This book follows the boss x employee trope with Cassandra and Apollo, the former of which is the grump of the relationship and the latter the sunshine.

I only previewed the first few chapters but even then, the book feels like a pretty standard Dark Olympus novel, not deviating much from the series formula and with nothing immediately stucking out to me as new or fresh. Nevertheless, I always have fun reading this series so I will be adding it to my tbr cart to finish once it's out!

*Also, thanks to Netgalley for providing the preview!*

Cassandra and Apollo🤩

Radiant Sin is the story of Apollo, one of the Thirteen and his assistant, Cassandra, from a disgraced founding Olympus family. I was lucky enough to receive a preview of this book originally from Netgalley, which intrigued me enough to purchase a copy to finish this tale of Apollo and Cassandra❣️

An outside danger is lurking and all of the Thirteen are trying to ensure they head this off at the pass…but in the meantime, they’ve been invited to a newly instated citizen of Olympus with some other members of the Thirteen😳 Apollo and Cassandra, strongly encouraged or should I say persuaded by Zeus to help, have to pretend to date and she has to accompany him to this week long event and act as his plus one😉

Gosh, so much happening in this book but I really enjoyed it and I look forward to Aphrodite’s story next❤️

If I can already get a feel for the spice and angst in the first 5 chapters, I’m sold. That’s exactly what this preview has done for me, and let me tell you, I cannot wait to read this book. I already have a good feel for who the characters are and I’ve highlighted something on almost every other page.

Radiant Sin is the fourth book in the Dark Olympus series. This time we have the retelling of Apollo and Cassandra, with a fake relationship and a touch of investigation.

In the past, Cassandra's parents attempted a coup against the Thirteen of Olympus. The result was them being killed, and her and her sister being outcasts from society. The only person who doesn't seem to mind that much is Apollo.

Since Wicked Beauty, we see how the arrival of Minos and his gang of noise is disturbing the peace of society and a party organized by him is the opportunity to try to discover his plans.

I'm tired of commenting on how much this series has become my baby. As much as the stories are independent, it is interesting to read in order since events are always mentioned, especially when it comes to the titles of the gods. I confess that from time to time I get confused, but Katee makes a simple and easy to understand little reaction.

Cassandra is an intelligent and smart woman, with a big heart and very loyal. Her parents' attitude in a way shaped her character, but she will realize that there are people around her who don't care about her past. As for Apollo, I felt it was a little off, lacking a little tompero. The spy chief of Olympus lacked some tchan, but he is quite sincere in the interests of Cassandra's well-being.

The whole book has this atmosphere of tension and espionage. When the revelations start, ovens fall and I swear there's been one in particular so far that I haven't gotten over. And not only does Radiant Sin live on espionage, Katee as always rocks the hot scenes.

I just know that with everything that's happened here, I'm super curious to know the consequences in Cruel Seduction, the next book in the series. In a newsletter, the author announced that the series intends to have around 10 books, and even commented on who will star in which. Particularly, this is a pyramid scheme that doesn't bother me because her stories are fast and fluid, and the universe she created adapted from Greek mythology allows her to explore.

Cassandra is from a disgraced family and had been struggling to care for herself and her sister. Apollo knew her struggle and hired her when no one else will give her a chance. Their work relationship has been professional for some time, but each has desires for the other. A work function forces them into close proximity and the lines are blurring. There was an intense attraction from the very beginning and I was immediately drawn in.

I hate Apollo as the Greek God in all iterations. But... I may make an exception for this Apollo. Katee has turned this awful raping god into a sexy man who's all about consent and aware of power imbalances. Consider me seduced.

I am very excited for the next installment of the Dark Olympus series. After reading the first 5 chapters, I am so pumped to read what happens more between Apollo and the curvaceous Cassandra. I absolutely love the trope of fake dating/marriage and this definitely piqued my interest!
