Well this is a very fast paced story as the title says it’s only four days. And I really like the slow burn and this story made me very uneasy about the love story between Callie and Julian.

Love at first sight moment, right away they’ve seen each other they’d fall in love. Callie was the cringey version of an obsessed man in dark romances. I’m really old fashion so I love the see that the man does the first step but in this situation Callie was way over the normal first steps and I just felt so cringe while I’ve read her flirts with Julian.
I loved reading about Paris and when we got the moment between the main characters I felt like I’m reading about a woman who works as a tour guide and helps the guy find all the places in Paris.
And I absolutely blow my mind when they said I love you‘s on the fourth day. Like I said I know it’s fast places but I wanted to jump out the window.
Callie was way to cringe and as she knows herself she fell in love too quickly and there a cloud front of her eyes when love is on the picture.

Everyone who’s looking a quick holiday read which is fast placed this book is a good choice. I’m sad it didn’t work out for me.

Thank you to Netgalley for the arc!

“I guess anything is possible in four days in Paris.”

This book threw me back to my study abroad days. Having dealt with the tumult of emotions that occur when you’re leaving your international life (friends and memories) behind in a few days, I FELT this book. The excitement of NYE, the excitement of Y2K, the excitement and anticipation of a new love… the author did a marvelous job setting the scene and making you feel what Callie was feeling.

This was a sweet romance (with a tiny bit of spice) that focused on more than just Callie’s romantic relationship; it focused on her friendships, as well.

This book had a HEA.

This is a quick read that is based in Paris and is an instant love story.

It is the end of 1999 and Callie is getting ready to say goodby to Paris. She moved there 6 months ago following her boyfrienbd, who ended things the day she arrived. She managed to get a job and apartment, but now only has a week before she is moving back to the states.

She has resigned herself to the move and created a bucket list of things to do in Paris before she leaves.

And then she meets her friend's half-brother, Julian, at the New Year's Eve party and wishes she had more than 4 days left in Paris..

I liked the idea of what if you meet someone and the wrong time but... the story was there (to be captivating for me) but it just didn't connect with me, specially the characters.

This story focused on Callie who moved to Paris to be with her boyfriend, who then dumped her. As she is about to move back home, she meets Julien. They spend time together taking the sites of Paris and she has a decision to make.

I've never been to Paris and after reading this book, I want to go more than ever because this book described it wonderfully. Description was not an issue for this novel. I just could not connect with Calllie. It was not the plot that bothered me because I often enjoy stories where the characters fall in love quickly. This book just did not hit the mark with me.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Find love in Paris is such a romantic notion.

Plot: Callie arrives in Paris to reunite with her French boyfriend only to be dumped. She makes the best of it by working, making friends and touring the city. On her last weekend, she meets her friend’s brother, Julian and has an immediate connection. Can you fall in love in just 4 days?

Spice: kissing, making out

I really wanted to love this book because of the setting in Paris in 1999 New Year’s Eve. I am just a few years younger than the characters. I studied abroad in Europe and I understand that feeling of meeting someone new while abroad and traveling. However, I feel it is geared towards a YA audience. The MC are a bit naive and aren’t fully mature to commit or communicate well.

People who like first loves and relate to young adults just starting out their post college lives will like this book.

Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I think this is a great easy read that will help you pass the day, smile with a wonderful cast of characters, and beautiful fun scenery that transports you to another world. Writing was well written

This follows the VERY quick love story of Julien and Callie. They meet on New Years Eve in Paris and fall in love at first sight. During their first four days/nights together, they have some twists and turns, but make it through to the other side. I enjoyed the writing and the characters, but I am still reserved if I believe people can fall in love that quickly.

Thank you to NetGalley, Lexi Haddock and the publisher for allowing me to read a free, advanced copy of this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. I liked the characters and the descriptions of Paris were wonderful. The romance felt a little flat but I would recommend it x

I really wanted to love this but I found it disappointing. I couldn't really get much chemistry from the characters and it just seemed a bit boring. The main character seemed like she just wanted attention from any man and we jumped very quickly from Vic to Julian. I think if there more character development I would have enjoyed it more.

This book was a beautiful nod to the city of Paris. The love our MC Callie had for the city was undeniable and felt in every way she spoke about it and the 6 months she spent there following an unexpected brakeup. You could feel the emotion in her as she spends her last 4 days in Paris before going home and the connection she has with her two best friends Lila and Emilie.
We also in these last 4 days follow Callie as she meets and falls hard for Emilie's brother Julien.
Unfortunately for me the romance part fell a little flat and unbelievable. I felt like all the time they had together was mostly them talking about the city or her miscommunicating. I would have loved to have more insight into Julians character so that I could understand what made them click.
All in all it was a sweet book that I enjoyed.

Thank you NetGalley for the preview of this book! 4 Days in Paris is a fun read, but a bit far fetched for my romcoms. It takes place at the turn of the century, where Y2K is top of mind and the main character, Callie, is preparing to leave Paris after a failed attempt at love. While there is nothing more romantic than Paris, and the details of traveling around Paris took me right there, the story line wasn't as entrancing as the setting. You root for the main character, but the conflict was lackluster and I didn't feel like I understood why Callie was so upset about certain things. Nevertheless, this was an easy and fast read, and I enjoyed it.

Great concept I just wish Callie had gotten more closure with the whole Vic thing. I went into this really excited. But sadly it wasn’t something I enjoyed as much as I thought.

This story takes place on New Years Eve, 1999, in Paris. Callie an American has only four days left in Paris before she returns home. Callie had met Vic while studying in Paris during college, she returned home and continued a long distance relationship with Vic while finishing school. She left everything in the US to join Vic only to be broken up with as soon as she arrives. Who lets someone move to another country for a relationship and then ends it without giving any explanation? I feel like Callie got no closure to the whole situation with Vic. This story is a love letter to Paris and also Callie's relationship with her two friends, fellow American Lila and French Emilie. The romance of Callie and Julien begins on New Year's Eve but where can it go from there when she's leaving France in a few short days?

Thank you to Net Galley and Chrysalis Press for the Advanced Reader Copy of 4 Days in Paris. While I was intrigued by the premise, the characterization and writing didn’t live up to my hopes and I did not end up finishing the book.

Absolutely yes! I really enjoyed reading this novel. The characters were fun, it held my interest, and provided an escape from reality. I would definitely recommend!

Callie’s been jilted and is ready for new love and sure enough a delicious Frenchman is in the same boat. I wondered at the complete lack of any cross-cultural barbed wire between Americans Callie and friend Lila, and French everyone else, but I let that fade in the delight of Callie’s running descriptions of Paris, a real character in the book, personified by the Eiffel Tower that she treats sort of like a fairy godmother.

I liked this book, it was easy to read and very cute...
This is the perfect book if you're looking for something fun and cheesy.
I do feel like some parts could have been shorter and some others needed a bit more space, but overall it was nice.
I liked the characters they are very well written.
