Oh how I would have loved to have been in Paris along with these characters as they sounded like they had the best time. I loved watching the story and romance unfold and I enjoyed reading this one.
Had a hard time putting this down; I really felt the characters
This book was more like an experience than reading. It felt like I was there, experiencing Paris; doing what they were doing; feeling the romantic encounters.
The writing is so engaging. After I was in the first several pages, I had a hard time putting it down. I love how The Eiffel Tower, ‘herself’, was treated as a character—very clever.
I feel as though I’ve just returned from a deeply memorable, romantic trip to Paris. My daughter must read this book; she’s been wanting to go to Paris. Until that happens, this is the next best thing!

I absolutely adored my 'trip' to Paris in this novel - it really felt like I was there sipping on a cappuccino with a croissant waiting to be devoured while I was enjoying this book. I loved following Callie on her adventure around the capital, and it really did bring all the heart-warming vibes. Looking forward to reading more books by Lexi Haddock!
A nice and easy romance read. This would be an easy book to fly through in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and it was a very cute read.
This book made me feel like I’d actually been to Paris. The detail and scene setting is definitely a strong part, and I enjoyed the clear ‘love’ Callie has for Paris and appreciated the authors details.
I felt the overall story was a little predictable and at times I was frustrated with Callie and her constant mind switches. Julien seemed a little to perfect as a character to me. I loved the beginning of the book, and think the first half is my favourite.
Overall I enjoyed the simplicity of the story, and wanted Callie & Julien to have a happy ending.
Firstly thank you net gallery letting me read this before release
I very much enjoyed reading about callie finding love again after getting her heart smashed recently.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance
Can you fall in love in 4 days? I guess anything is possible in Paris, the city of love. This book was such a fun and upbeat read, highly recommend.
This book was really sweet. I loved the friendships that Callie gained during her time in Paris. The references to all the food they ate made me really hungry as well! I need to go to Paris now and eat everything they ate.
It was based in 2000 so there wasn’t so much social media and accessible phones so it was nice to reminisce on those times. Especially when you’re looking for someone in a big city and you can’t find them!
The full book was really heartwarming and Callie deserved the perfect ending ❤️
Are 4 days enough to fall in love?
A cute fast paced romance book set in paris.
I liked how very accurate (at least it felt to me very real) the city was described. Lots of details so I can imagine as if I am myself there.
The friendship between Emily, Lilia and Callie was so strong and really beautiful. Both main characters fit well together and had a great chemistry, though I wished I would have had more moments with both of them. I know they only had 4 days and that limits it, but there was just a bit missing in my opinion.
Unfortunately for me, the end was just kinda suddenly there. Would have loved if that would have been a little less rushed.
If your looking for a very sweet and adorable book with lots of details about Paris, this is for you.
This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from IBPA and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.
Wonderful story, excellently executed and beautifully written.
If this book doesn't make you want to buy a one way plane ticket to Paris, you are lying. This was so fun! I recently binged Emily in Paris on Netflix and I feel like this had a similar vibe for me. Someone young and heartbroken in the city of Love and how to navigate that. This was so fun!
It was a good love story. I love reading about other countries. I remember 1999. I love the characters and the storyline it was fun. Thus book was approved by netgalley and the publisher.
thank you to the publisher and netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review
a great story and concept, I can't wait to read more from this author!
A great read with likable and well written characters. New to me author but one I'd read again for sure!
A fast paced novel about how sometimes a whirlwind romance can turn into something much more.
I loved the characters of this book, I thought the friendship dynamic between Callie, Emilie and Lilia was great, the kind of lifelong friendships everyone aspires to have. Julien was sweet and considerate, and I really enjoyed the classic meet cute moment between him and Callie.
A great deal of effort was clearly put into the details of the setting of the novel, which I think really helped you to feel as though you were too immersed in the Parisian experience,
The relationship between Callie and Julien was sweet, however tense at moments, and while I was ultimately rooting for them to get their happy ending, I felt that getting to that point was a little rushed and I expected there to be perhaps more drama that stood in the way of this. However, as the point of the story is that is possible to fall in love in four days, it is understandable why the author chose not to do this. Ultimately this I thought this was a great quick romance read, and would definitely recommend.
4 Days in Paris is all you need to fall in love. That is the whole premise of this book.
Callie relocates to Paris from the United States in the summer of 1999 to be reunited with her long distance boyfriend. Six hours after getting off the plane her boyfriend has dumped her and left her alone in the city of love. Instead of running back home, Callie decides to spend six months in Paris. Teaming up with her best friend in France: Emilie, whom she met the semester she studied abroad in college, and her new best friend: Lila, another American temporarily living in Paris, Callie makes the most of a bad situation. Now it is New Years Eve and Callie has 4 days left in Paris before she is set to return home. She jokes with her best friends about finding love, but the joke is on her when she meets Emilie's handsome brother Julien, and they begin a whirlwind 4 days together.
This book started off SO STRONG for me, I was completely immersed the first 40% of the book; absolutely loving the setting in Paris, as well as the dynamic between Callie, Emilie and Lila. However, I felt that the second half of the book was very repetitive.
There was a lot of back and forth on Callie's part about continuing on with Julien. Given the timeline they were on, I tried to be understanding of how it would feel to have an instant connection with someone while knowing in 4 days an ocean would be separating you both. In that sense, Callie's back and forth made sense, however they both knew the end was coming and they never once discussed what that meant for them, which as a reader was very frustrating.
I appreciated that the author painted such an accurate and detailed picture of France, but it almost felt like a little too much time was spent on setting the scene when more time should have been focused on character interactions. The ending felt a little rushed.
This book was good, just not one of my favorites.
Super good story, excellent writing, an author I definitely want more from! Couldn't ask for any better!! Highly recommend.
