This sneak preview is such an attention grabber. I LOVED the first chapter, with the character description and the meticulous way they were adorning their armor and slowly setting up the world building. The magic system seems very interesting, so different from any book that I've read before. I'm very curious to see where this goes, and will definitely be purchasing it when it releases!

But I didn’t expect less from Lyndall as the Lakesedge Duology is one of my favorites!
I can’t wait to get the whole book into my hands!

The writing style was easy to understand and the world building is just on point.
I love the suspense that is built around the main character, which has you wanting to read on to get to know more about her.

What an incredibly captivating sneak peek! This one is definitely going on my "2023 need to purchase" list.
