Good News! It’s Creation! by Glenys Nellist is beautifully illustrated (by Lizzie Walkley) and written book about God’s Creation and it being good. Geared towards ages 1-4, Good News! It’s Creation! goes over things that God created that young ones would understand, such as the sun, and saying that it is good.

I really love how the words and illustrations in Good News! It’s Creation! flowed seamlessly together to teach young ones God's Creation. The pictures compliment the story perfectly. I believe Good News! It's Creation! is a great way to introduce young ones to the Story of Creation. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

This book tells the Genesis creation story of the Christian bible in simple text with musical tone and colorful, detailed, beautiful illustrations. Glenys Nellist is one of my favorite children's book authors. God's love is clear in all of her books, including this one.

This book is a great way to introduce Genesis to a little one. I would recommend it to any parent looking to keep their child engaged through wonderful illustrations and fun rhymes.

A super sweet book for children! Our children absolutely enjoyed reading this book. I would like to give them a hardback copy to hold and read on their own. For those looking for good books to fill the nursery shelves, this would make a great addition to it. The book is full of colorful illustrations, good messages, and set to a child’s understanding levels. It would also make a good gift for baby showers, children or grandchildrens birthdays, or even get a couple copies just to pass on to children in your life.

Another really gorgeous, engaging, beautiful children's book from this author. I love the creativity on each page, how every different creation got its own perfect verb. The stars twinkle, the mountains shout, the trees wave - it's just perfect. I really love the artwork, but the message - that everything God made is so, so good - is wonderful for our little ones to learn so young.

I love how this book was based on scripture in a way that was captivating for toddlers. For those who hold a 2CV conviction, this book is also safe for you. The artwork was stunning, as well.

I'm quickly falling in love with these sweet children's and toddler books from Glenys Nellist. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, for one. But you also can't beat wholesome stories such as the creation story.

Great way for younger kids to learn about God's Creation. Brightly colored pages. Eye catching illustrations.. We enjoyed the book & will gladly share it with others.

This is a warm, happy, sweet little book that helps children start on the right spiritual path, as it celebrates the concept of God as a Creator in simple language, and beautiful illustrations. A keeper for Christian families and a gift suggestion for little folks on your gift list.

This is a sweet rhyming story about the creation of the earth. The illustrations were the best part, with each page more colorful and fantastic than the last. However, I did feel something was lacking in the narrative.

I'm quickly becoming an avid fan of Glenys' work. This is the second book of her's I've had the pleasure of reading and I have a third one on deck for the Advent season.

Good News! It's Creation is about the Genesis creation story. Short, sweet, and fun, this is one that I could read to my son at night and quickly memorize. Teaching scripture is frankly overwhelming to me, but Nellist's books make it so accessible. The illustrations in this one are lovely and fun. There's so much detail showing on every page and the art adds fullness to Glenys' words. Bonus: Adam and Eve are accurately depicted in the proper skin tone.

So, if you're a parent looking for a book to add to your library that is accessible for teaching the bible, look no further!

An adorable book about how God created the each facet of the world to show us the good news about who He is. I love the illustrations and the way the message is shared.

This Book Will Become a Favorite!

The words will fill their hearts and the illustrations will capture their eyes.

Bedtime at our house was usually when my kids pulled out their favorite books. This would have been one of them. Partly because it is short but meaningful and also visually it would allow them to explore the pages.

Perfect for gift giving!

Beautifully written book! Would be a great filler for a baby shower gift. Illustration was nice as well.

Good News! It’s Creation! A very beautifully illustrated children’s book about god created how god created mountains.

After reading Good News! God Loves You! I had to check out It's Creation. This is a lovely introduction to creation. While some of the images don't quite line up with the timeline (space being made, and then space filled on another day), it does give a good flow of God as Creator of all things - and that all He made is very good!

Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! Genesis 1:31

It is good to see the goodness of God. This book encourages parents and children to see the goodness of God in creation. It is good news. God cares for us and this world. The illustrations are vivid colors and it is a good reminder to see. Highly recommend.
