An interesting start to a new series (now completed). Should appeal equally to fans of police procedurals and urban fantasy. Definitely recommended. (Also, if you're familiar with Cornell's comics work, you should find much to like here, too.)

This title was read for a podcast interview with the author on The Skiffy and Fanty Show. Alas, I forgot to indicate as much (and I ended up with a physical copy anyway).
