I’m almost 100% crazy about this book. For sure I’m 5-star crazy about the whole first 75% of it. What. Intensity. The slow, sweet and at a few points, very sad build-up, and paced oh so well that I was starving for relief. Though, happily so. I love having to work for it.
P.S. I reviewed this one on my blog back in 2013 (see full review via the link below):

I was concerned Tabby and Shy were too young to have a book, but Ashley did a great job with the story. This was a marked improvement over many of her self-published works. All the things I love about Ashley's work remained, but all the excess was cut out.

Parker "Shy" Cage is so over the top alpha yummy. This was my first KA book and won't be my last.

There is no such thing as a bad Kristen Ashley book. Some are better than others, some speak to my soul while a few have left me wanting. Own the Wind sadly was not one of my favorites. While I loved seeing Tabitha Allen all grown up and I loved the few glimpses of Tack and Tyra, the story felt too slow and the plot long winded. It wasn't until the 70% mark that things started picking up for me. Overall, not my favorite but I will absolutely continue the series.
