Thank you Netgalley and Victory Editing for sending me an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting any of that. That was weird, but good weird. I mean, the timeline is literally three days for all the book. Every chapter is the consecutive of the one before so you never stop reading and I finished it in like two days I guess.
It’s all so fast that you can’t expect you’ve already finished the book.
Usually I’m not a fan of things going too quickly, especially in books, but I feel like nothing would have happened any other way.

This book represents the type of love that doesn’t need time to be revealed. It shows that even impulsive actions, with the consequences they bring, when they feel right they are. It’s like “go for it”.
It’s not something that can be supported by everyone, but it’s a different type of love that exists and isn’t talked about enough.

All that being said I really liked it and it’s 4⭐️ for me.

I’m not usually a fan of instant love but do love marriage of convenience. I love the feisty nature of Fiona and the golden retriever qualities of Mase. I’d love more connections with the other side characters as there we’re a lot of them but the relationship and friendship of Fiona and Mase had me smiling a lot throughout this book. .

ARC REVIEW
Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend by Holly Kerr
⭐️⭐️
Fiona has been hurt by men. Mase is a billionaire player. When they meet and decide to get married in Vegas, true love starts to bloom.

This was a cute fast read but at the end of the day, it was not for me. It had a lot of promise but lacked development in the characters and the love story. I did find some of their conversations great but I just didn’t feel it. The whole book took place in only a couple of days and might have worked better if it was longer. There were also a lot of characters to keep track of (this is part of a series so that makes sense but I’m not sure they were all needed here). Some 🔥 might have saved this but all the scenes were fade to black.
This would be great for closed doors fans or someone who wants a quick romantic read.

This was my first read from Holly Kerr, though I have been checking out her books for a little while. I'm not sure why I haven't picked one up yet, because this book was not just hilarious (it absolutely was), but so thoughtful and perfectly paced and all of the character dynamics were just perfect! Yes, it was closed door and normally I do prefer to have a good steam level, but every now and then I don't mind when everything else far outweighs that little tidbit.

I adored the way that right from the beginning, after an initial dislike between Mase (Gordon Thomas Mason Stirling III - you can tell he's the son of a rich family just from the pretentious name!), and Fiona Stark, things turn around very quickly after he watches out for her during their mutual best friend's engagement weekend celebration that starts at his Las Vegas club (yes, by "his" - he owns it!). Being not just the son of a billionaire family, he's a rich and very well-known baseball player for the Minnesota Twins, in his own right.

They ditch the club and the friends and he takes her out shopping for a new pair of shoes because her feet are killing her after a night of dancing - and things really just take off from there. That "night" starts at 2am leaving the club, and ends at 9am leaving the Elvis wedding chapel, now adorned with wedding rings. Oops! Now Fee and Mase have to hide it from all of their friends because this is the weekend to celebrate Bexley and Grayson (after they fell in love on the televised show The Suitor), but it's hard when running from Mase's admirers, including his stalker and recent Baby-Mama accuser and social media influencer being in town and seeking him out. Not to mention, pictures leak online and suddenly his sister is calling because his grandfather has summoned him home immediately to account for his actions - all in a weekend's fun!

I really enjoyed the whole story the whole way through, and now will be going back and reading the series from the start - to meet all of the friends that were present for the party weekend! Each has their own story, and I can't wait to learn more! I highly recommend this one to everybody - works great as a standalone too! No triggers, is clean and just plain fun! A very quick and easy read.

This premise was so fun: Mase & Fiona are introduced during their best friend's engagement party weekend in Vegas. Mase is a billionaire playboy and also a pro-baseball player, Fiona is a scientist who has struggled to find love. Fiona has some preconceived notions of Mase from the scandals he's been in from the tabloids, and Mase is intrigued by Fiona from the moment he sees her.
By the end of their first night in Vegas, they're married.

I struggled heavily with the timeline/plot of this story. The book takes place over two days (really ~36 hours) and in that time I'm supposed to believe that two strangers fall in love, get married, and overcome family/friend distrust and skepticism of the relationship, etc.? idk it felt SO far-fetched that it was hard for me to suspend belief and just go along with it.

I wish the plot extended a bit further *past* their whirlwind weekend of falling in love and how Mase & Fiona adjusted to their impulsive Vegas marriage back in their everyday lives.

I think the main characters and their backstory could have been developed a bit more alongside some of the conflict plot points. They talk about Fiona's relationship struggles and hint at some toxicity that's happened that's caused her to be skeptical of love, & Mase's background of coming from a wealthy family and being taken advantage of by others because of his name and his status and how that's led to his distrust of others, but both aspects of their backgrounds are mentioned so briefly, kind of just thrown out there but not fully developed.

There were some cute moments and I love a sweet talker but I think I wanted a bit more from this overall.

Too many characters being introduced at once at the beginning.

Mase brought everyone to Vegas and paid for everything for Bexley and Graysons engagement party. -very kind and selfless.

Mase is a huge flirt and player.
He seems after awhile genuine with Fiona.

I think Fiona has changed her opinion about Mase not just being a playboy from in the tabloids. She seems to be really interested in learning about him and his life.

Make admitted he likes that she is different than any other women he's been interested in previously.

Bexley, boan and Grayson aren't impressed to see Mase and Fiona sitting so closely talking to one another by themselves.

Mase took Fiona shopping to find new shoes, but they ended up shopping for much more. Mase likes Fiona so much. He is being his true self with her.

Fiona and Mase are getting married in Las Vegas!
This caught me by surprise.
Fiona didn't seem like the type of girl to be spontaneous.

Mase is scared/nervous to tell his family about marrying Fiona because they will think she married him for fame or money.
I hope Fiona doesn't end up getting hurt from Mase or his family.
She doesn't deserve that.

Bexley is angry and upset with Fiona for getting married during her engagement party. She found out through pictures.
I feel a bit sorry for Bexley because it was her week end to celebrate Grayson and her.

Mase and Fiona are going to meet with Mases family. -I hope that they aren't terrible to Fiona. I have a feeling that they will not be nice to her.

Mases Grandfather thinks Fiona is exactly what Mase needs in his life.

Overall, I think the book was really well written. It ended up being such a cute and sweet book. It was an easy quick read.

Spontaneous while somewhat predictable. Lovely, heartwarming tale about love at first sight with a twist. I was disappointed when it ended, I would have loved to read more about how Fiona won over the family and the terrifying grandfather who turned out to be a bit of a softie, exploring this more and getting to know the family, their business and why there was so much pressure on Mase's shoulders. But otherwise, a lovely lighthearted clean romance.

Do opposites really attract? On one side, we have cute and smart Fiona Stark who is a book loving archivist for the Canadian intelligence agency. She swears by playing the supporting roles in life and having her friends enjoy the limelight. On the other side, we have billionaire baseball player Mase Stirling who is gorgeous and charming and always enjoys being the center of attention. Their lives are thrown together through a party for mutual friends in Las Vegas and a whirlwind romance ensues in less than 24 hours.

Although it is a interesting premise for a story, the quick progression of plot and the lack of friend and family character development in response to the main characters’ relationship fell short for me and rendered this tale too unbelievable in my mind. Overall, a quick and easy closed door romantic comedy with lots of fun and a little bit of drama in Vegas.

Will Fiona finally get to be the leading lady in life that she has always envied in her beloved romance novels? Will Mase forgo the wild bachelor life with the revolving door of women and finally settle down? You’ll have to read to find out!

Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend was such a sweet, fun, and charming read! It was fast paced and I couldn’t and wouldn’t put it down! I fell in love with Mase and Fiona and was sad when the book was over. That’s how you know it’s a good book!
I didn’t realize this was a series, and I definitely want to ga back and read the others. It can be read as a standalone though!
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Holly Kerr!

I loved this - it blew me away and was completely unexpected in all the best ways.

Mace and Fiona were amazing - fantastic chemistry and their relationship felt so authentic - I loved how Mace supported Fiona and brought out a new side to her to help her feel strong and fearless and the way Fiona saw Mace in ways that no one else did.

I also loved that there was no third act break up!

A billionaire bad boy and a shy girl next door book. Mase and Fiona are complete opposites but friends.... He rescues her from a panic attack in the middle of a Las Vegas nightclub....

It's very fast paced novel. No boring parts. It was also nice to see some characters from the first three books in the series. Lots of fun antics and LOL scenes.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

I read this so fast! This was so cute, and couldn’t put it down. The timeline was short and the relationship should have felt rushed, but it didn’t. Fiona and Mase are lucky to have each other on their side.

Grabbed this on a whim and wasn’t sure I’d like it but I actually thought it was pretty charming, I was initially a little lost because I had no context and it’s clear you need to have read the previous books. That would be my biggest complaint, actually, too many characters that you are supposed to have a history with. I don’t mind insta-love as a trope, although I know many do, and it worked well here. The accelerated pace of the story and their romance was a bold choice and I think it worked. You watched both characters mature in real time.

Omg this book!! I was so hooked I read it all in less than 2 days. I fell in love with the story of mase and fee and so rooting for it all to work out between them. You always know you have found a good book when you feel lost when you have finished reading it and that exactly how I feel about this. I need another mase and fee story. It is so well written and had me hooked from the 1st page. Definitely recommend this book

Thank you @netgalley and Victory Editing for an early copy of Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend by Holly Kerr in exchange for an honest review. 🤍

Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend is a fast-paced love story set between Mase and Fiona at their friends' engagement party in Las Vegas. Havin no background of the previous books, I got really confused with the names, but the story itself was enjoyable and and funny.

A very light read without too much drama; rating Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5. Out on October 25, 2022!

This book so so great! This is also a new to me author.

Fiona is the single best friend that loves love. She can never seem to find the right guy. She heads to Las Vegas for her best friends engagement party. It is put on by her best friends fiancés friend Mase a professional baseball player and a member of a billionaire family.

The pace of this book is great. It keep my attention the whole time. I love the character development and I just love Mase. You can feel all the love and tension without a ton of super saucy scenes being drawn out (if you aren’t into that).

I would highly recommend this book and want to go back and read the first three in the series.

Side note - this author is Canadian so some of the spelling and measurements are different.

Quirky, fun and fast paced. A romp of a romance mostly set in Vegas with lots of nightclub action and hotel rooms. A confusing start with far too many names and people and one line description fades into a good read where you don’t need to know who everyone is to enjoy! The couple are great characters and whilst there is a certain predictability, that doesn’t really matter.

I really loved this book. It was a unique story line and I was glad there wasnt too much dragged out drama.
I read it as a standalone but will be reading the rest of the books in the series.
