I didn’t find this book as mind-blowing as I expected sadly. But it was still a very fun and exciting read. I did think it was pretty cool how Fire is essentially the reason that these two are brought together. The hero is a smoke jumper while the heroine is a wildfire photographer. Given the state of California parts of the year did get kind of sucked in to the action side of things, it’s enjoyable as fiction not so much in reality. I love a good romantic suspense and with the heroine in danger for possibly catching the arsonist in the act, the threat was real. I don’t think neither MCs were looking for love but when they meet sparks fly and the more time they spend together the closer they grow. The heroine does have some hang ups after a divorce and is something she has to deal with. Her ex being the reason for them meeting up was a bit awkward I think but shit happens lol. Decent And exciting read
