Really enjoyable read. Great story. Loved the scenery and how she told it. 5*.

Sam and Hannah rent Owl Cottage for a week with their daughter Lily, to try and save their marriage: Sam has had an affair and Hannah is not sure if she wants to stay with him; she's devastated.
Strange things are happening in the cottage, and she has an ominous feeling in her gut. Sam poohpooh's her feelings and she wonders whether he's not the man she thought he was.
Even though Hannah has had a terrible thing happen when she was a little girl, I found her a bit hysterical and I found her at times quite irritating.
Despite that, I did enjoy the book, it was tense and exciting with a surprising ending.
