This book tells the story of a community working together to make sure all members are fed. It teaches about food insecurity and poverty, while also showing the positive impact people can make by volunteering/donating etc. I think this would be a good book to use in my classroom when discussing generosity or donations at Christmas time. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review this book!

A wonderfully illustrate story with a marvelous message to the readers.
"We All Stir the Pot" encourage the readers and the community to make effort to help people who are in hunger. The title itself "we all stir the pot," points out that we all participate to give back to the community that is in need.
A wonderful concept to teach young readers about charitable services and explain about people in need.

A beautifully illustrated book with a wonderful message. I appreciate how it highlights giving back to the community and collective efforts to end world hunger. I also loved the symbolism of 'stirring the pot' and its double meaning. Although the content is a bit too thin and I would have loved more info, this is a great read for kids.

This book shows the part we all play to give back to the community and those in need. Everyone has a role in stirring the pot. Great for any child!

Though it’s important to volunteer and especially at soup kitchens and/or food banks, there’s a way to communicate that so children better understand. Stories of families helping out and why they do is important so everyone knows to reach out from their own wants and needs to lend themselves to others. This book showcases a tiny snippet of people volunteering. Wish there were more details about why they help. To me, this book needs to explain how helping out helps their community.

Well, I read this book from the POV to understand the topic, mainly. 'Stir the Pot' themed on the contribution of every person who is involved in making a dish, directly or indirectly. From farmers to serving volunteers everyone stirred the pot, be it physically or metaphorically. I liked reading about the author also.

I loved this book! I always love to find books with a message to put in my classroom library, and I think We All Stir the Pot would be perfect! It talks about ways to give back and help others in a way that's accessible to kids. It would be a great read aloud book for a classroom or a family!

The author, Misty Lee Coolidge, has a passion for feeding the hungry in her own community before looking further afield. She writes plainly about it in this book at a level children can understand and perhaps, be motivated to do their part in "stirring the pot" in helping others. I'd say this is a very good message describing an outlet in which younger or older folks can accomplish good towards others. Compassionate parents, guardians and children will surely appreciate the awareness this educational work of children's fiction can bring. Very interesting illustrations complement the story line. Two recipes top off the book with flair.

This book about food insecurity and volunteerism would pair well with Saturdays at the Food Pantry. It delivers a good message that we all go through tough times and should give when we are able.

We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! by Misty Lee Coolidge with Bobbie Bensur is a children's picture book set in a food pantry. It's located in an unknown city and talks about how people contribute to food pantry . . . anything and everything from donating food to volunteering time.

I was thrilled when I was approved by NetGalley and Paw Prints Publishing to receive this book for free in exchange for my honest review. Originally expected to be published on November 15 of this year, We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! by Misty Lee Coolidge with Bobbie Bensur came out November 29, 2022.

There were some great life lessons in We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! told in a way that children could understand. Don't worry, it's not sanctimonious in the least bit. The illustrations were amazing as well. This is the perfect book to help children realize that there are families that don't have enough to eat.

I love the fact that some of the proceeds from the book will go to supporting the mission of Feeding America. On top of that, there were some recipes at the end of the book that families can fix.

Five out of five stars is what I give We All Stir The Pot To End Hunger! by Misty Lee Coolidge with Bobbie Bensur.
