The Nurse's Secret was a great read by Liz Lawler. Sarah Shaw is a nurse with a deadly secret. The police arrive to the hospital one day asking for the young nurse Shaw, which leads to staff and patients starting to talk. They state that her husband has been married, and they have only bee married a few months. While asking where she was that night, they would also like to know why medicine went missing from the hospital a few days before. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

I'm a big horror fan, and when I found this one on NetGalley, I knew I needed it. The twisting, mutating grossness of this tale helps to add to the atmospheric horror of The Nurse's Secret by Liz Lawler.. All of the twists and turns put me in the mood for autumn and Halloween, and I was so happy to have had the opportunity to read and review this work of art.

This book was an absolute page turner (well, I listened to the audiobook and couldn't unplug!) from the first page. Fab.

Absolutely positively love the narration of this audio. Cannot wait to keep checking out more stories from this author in the future. This was a book that had me on the seat of my chair or I did not want to put it down and keep on listening till the very end. Highly highly highly recommend this book

Nurses are suppose to save and help people. In this story, there are questions surrounding Sarah Shaw. Her husband has been murdered and there are meds missing from the hospital. Could the person sworn to save lies taken the life of her very own husband.? We will go on a roller coaster ride to uncover what happened to her husband. And we might uncover some secrets along the way as well.

A very slow start with things not really getting started till over half way! The narration was really good and helped hold interest!

Thank you NetGalley for the audio copy in exchange for a honest review. Nurse Sarah Shaw is at work when her husband William is murdered. Sarah goes to stay with work colleague Kathleen. DI Nick Anderson is on the investigating team. It soon becomes clear everyone involved has secrets. A well written thriller with twists and turns.

Thank you the Publishers and NetGalley for allowing me the Audiobook ARC. I enjoyed this twisty turny mystery of who did it, who is hiding what, craziness. It honestly had me wonder a few different times on what was going to happen next! The characters had a bunch of back story and the delivery of it throughout the story was great! I would definitely read another from this author!

The Nurse's Secret - Liz Lawler

I felt this book started off slowly but built nicely throughout. I enjoyed the characters very much and especially Kathleen who was just odd. The story is told from multiple perspectives which I was entertained by. Overall a very enjoyable read, with plenty of twists and turns, and I kept changing my opinions of people throughout. I thought it was a good read but enjoyed The Next Wife by Liz Lawler so much more! Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture Audio for the e-arc in return for my honest viewpoint.

Listened to this one on audio. Bit dark and plenty of twists to keep my interest. Might never look at a nurse in the same light again!!

A good read with lots of twists and turns. Each chapter told from the point of view of the main characters which I did find a little pointless, I think the book would’ve flowed better with just normal chapters. The conclusion was a little far fetched and unbelievable but on the whole an entertaining read.

The narrator was good easy to listen too and did well distinguishing each character

This was an ok read. It passed the time but it wasn't gripping and to be honest I felt myself getting a little bored in parts. Nothing much happened until the very end, there was no suspense and I didn't feel that the characters were particularly well developed. I'm not sure whether I would have enjoyed this story more if I had read the book as the narrator on the audio book has quite a dull and monotonous voice.

I really enjoyed this audio book I'm not saying I couldn't put it down or I found it a thriller but it was a good storyline with lots of twists and unexpected turns

I am sorry this audiobook was just not for me, I found the story dragged. The character of Sarah was not likeable and the side story of her relationship with the detective who is investigating the murder of her husband was just a bit unbelievable. I don't like to give up on a book but I did on this one, Thank you for the chance to listen.

The Nurse’s Secret is a twisty psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. Sarah is a nurse working a night shift when she becomes concerned about her new husband William who is not answering the phone. When he is found dead a police investigation is launched but Sarah’s ex boyfriend is the lead detective on the case and isn’t strictly adhering to the rules of his profession.
Several storylines run through this book and I could not work out if or how they were linked. The story is neatly tied up at the end but has a slightly far fetched feel to some of the conclusions. However, it kept me interested and keen to read until the end.
