DIY channel meets Hollywood in this fun romance. A case of mistaken tagging and a fake PR relationship that is meant to help them both may lead to something real. A fun enjoyable read.

Despite the plot being out there I was invested in their love story and really enjoyed myself while reading it. I did have a small issue with the last couple chapters but all around I would still recommend this book to all those who love a pretty woman moment.

Accidentally Famous is a delightful, quick story set in a small town, with the classic fake dating scenario.
Jack, a Hollywood celebrity who hates the spotlight, finds himself thrown into it when his assistant mistakenly tags the wrong person in a social media post. Suddenly, Cassidy, a small-time YouTuber focused on renovation, becomes an overnight sensation, with paparazzi invading her quiet town and Jack himself appearing on her doorstep.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a light-hearted read without too much drama. The pacing is just right, and both Jack and Cassidy are likable characters. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a charming, feel-good story.
Thank you, NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, for the ARC.

Accidentally Famous, is a sweet, easy read, which takes place in a small towe and features the fake dating trope. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars.

Jack is a famous Hollywood star who does not love being in the spotlight, but when his assistant accidentally tags the wrong person in a post captioned, "I'm coming for you, babe" all hell breaks loose. Cassidy, the woman who was accidentally tagged, instead of Jack's sister, is very confused when her small, renovation, YouTube page suddenly blows up. Suddenly her life is thrown upside down! Paparazzi in her tiny town and Jack Winston suddenly shows up.

I really liked this book - thought it was an easy read with not a ton of angst. The pacing was good and I liked both of the characters. I'd recommend for anyone looking for a light, sweet read.

I'd like to thank NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for providing an ARC. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I know I say this in a lot of my reviews, but I feel like this book should be turned into a Hallmark movie! To start the cover is adorable. The storyline is also super cute. I don't want to spoil the story though! Let's just say this is the perfect rom-com in a book and it is fun and fabulous!

When Entangled offered me this sunny read of Accidentally Famous, I had to accept it of course. As a big fan of Entangled romances, I trusted this one to be good, although I hadn’t read anything of Marissa Clarke yet.

And it was good, and cute and funny. It is a light read, ideal for on holiday or on a cold winter night. Jack is an adorable Mr. A List action star and Cassidy is a rural hands on kind of girl. They come from very different worlds and yet they connect.

The story is cute, not very believable, but still very entertaining. Including the extra characters, especially Marion (and all the dinosaur jokes she has to endure) and the ever meddling Roger. So, in all, four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This book was cute. Small town girl gets tagged in a superstars post. The two meet, fall in love, blah, blah, blah. Nothing groundbreaking but very sweet none the less.

I love reading about Hollywood romances. Jack’s mixup lands him in the life of Cassidy and they fake date for a while. Then it turns into a real thing.. really enjoyed this read by Marissa Clarke!

I loved that this combined a lot of different romance tropes. Fake dating, forced proximity, and small town romance all wrapped up into one. I thought both main characters were likable and their conversations and banter were good. The way Jack made Cassidy comfortable in the situations where they had to be public was very caring and sweet. They were the type of couple that I was rooting for from the beginning and it ended up being a heartwarming read. I have a feeling I will be reading more by this author.

I absolutely loved reading Accidentally Famous by Marissa Clarke! This is a funny romantic novel with terrific characters and the plot is just fun! Although this is part of a series, it is easy to read as a standalone. Definitely the perfect read when you’re wanting something funny and sweet but not so sweet it makes your teeth hurt!

I received an advance copy of Accidentally Famous by Marissa Clarke from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinions. I didn't realize this was the second book in the series when I requested it but was 100% able to read without reading the first book. Now I can't wait to go back and read book #1. Super cute, fun read that you will absolutely enjoy.

This is book two in this series.
I'm giving this book 4.5 stars. This book is about Cassidy, a small hometown girl who restores and repairs homes. I really enjoyed getting to know Cassidy. She accidently gets tagged by someone famous, and that's where her adventures began with Jack. Most characters return from the first book.

I enjoyed the story and, of course, the good humor. Marissa Clarke knows how to grab your attention and keep the story flowing. I definitely recommend this book. I can't wait for the next.

Jack is a famous actor who couldn’t wait to reunite with his sister while waiting for his next picture to start. When his accidentally accidentally tagged the wrong person in the Instagram, he did not expect such a big hoohaa and impact to Cassidy life. Cassidy live in a small town and is involve in refurbishing homes is curious with the sudden interest from viewer in her youtube channel. When Jack showed up and asked her cooperation to fake date him, she reluctantly agreed. From the start, Jack is intrigued with her and the town community. But Cassidy has her eyes set on her ex-crush Tristan. When Jake’s manager realised that his attraction to Cassidy, she tried all her best to separate them.

This is a heartfelt love story that I really like. Both Jack and Cassidy were perfect together. I feel the pain when Cassidy sent Jack away. Overall it is an enjoyable read to me.

Thank you Netgalley, Marissa Clarke, and publishers for gifting me a copy of Accidentally Famous in return for my honest review.

3.5/5 stars

Jack Winston is a Hollywood action star whose assistant just accidentally tagged a nobody, Cassidy, from Blink, Maine. Cassidy is living her life as a home renovator when she starts to get a lot more views/subscribers on her youtube channel. Before she can understand the confusion, Jack and his team have arrived and convinced her to fake-date to improve both of their careers.

This was a very sweet romance, I loved Jack and Cassady together and I was able to picture them together. I also loved the background characters they were very well written. One thing I do wish is that there was more chemistry and attraction. You might be thinking, how can you see them together but want more, well they were just kind of blah in the romance department. While I enjoyed their banter I wanted more. This is a very clean romance and for me, I would have liked a little more spice. I am not a smutty book kind of girl but even for me this one was missing something.

If you are looking for a light-hearted read that you don't need to worry about too much romance then this is the book for you. I am glad that I read it but I would not pick it up to reread it a second time

Accidentally Famous is a really fun and light romance novel set in a small town and has one of my favorite tropes hollywood star/normal person. I liked the characters, they were fun to read about and everything stayed very surface level to keep it a light read. The side characters in the town were also fun and likeable and the complications while there were not overly done.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Cassidy and Jack. Cassidy is restoring a Victorian home. Jack is an actor. Some how her instagram account is tagged by mistake by an employee of Jack’s.Cassidy started to get viewers are her U Tube account. Jack comes to her hometown and apologizes. His agent comes into town. The press shows up. They have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

How can Marissa Clarke write such adorable books so consistently? This is the second book in the Hideaway Harbor series, and it stands alone from the other book in the series (Accidentally Perfect), but I think I enjoyed this one a bit more. The fake dating trope is so fun, especially when it is celebrity and "nobody" having to fake date for the paparazzi, and it can be so cliché, but its also so fun! Plus as an added bonus we have HGTV-esq home renovation! I love that. This was overall just a super cute, easy read, that I was able to finish in a day, and sometimes that is exactly what you need.
