This book was cute. Nice closed door romance. I feel like the first bit of the book (flash back) didn’t really need to be there and wish the book would hav esteemed with the accidental tag. There could have been flash backs or context later

I’m a sucker for fake dating tropes. They are my ultimate favorite. This one felt a bit rushed and fairly predictable. With so many side characters and such a short boom it felt like there wasn’t as much character development as I would have like.

Accidentally Famous was the first book I've read from Marissa Clarke. I enjoyed the story line and the characters and will probably pick up another book in this series. My only thought is that it may have been a better summer read because it definitely gives off summertime vibes. Overall a good book that I would recommend.

I really liked this book. Started a little slow, but picked up and kept my interest and attention. Cute concept in this crazy tech-savvy world we live in. Could totally happen! Would have liked to see more of how their life was after. Maybe a sequel?

This is my first book I've read by Marissa Clarke and the second in the Hideaway Harbor series.
.
Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes and combined with a Hollywood star it was a huge magnet and it is so well written and developed that it kept me hooked until the end
.
Cassidy is a constructor with a home remodeling business in the small town of Blink, Maine. Trying to grow day by day, she has a YouTube channel where she shares her work, but out of nowhere her five subscribers triple and begin to invade her contacts
.
All due to an error in the press team of action actor Jack Winston who mistakenly tagged her in a photo. Now all the press and fans are behind her
.
To make matters worse, his press team pressures him to fake date a star of his level. But Jack comes up with a better idea and solution to their problems if Cassidy agrees to pose as his girlfriend for two weeks. But being close to Cassidy and the townspeople may be what he needs most
.
I really liked this story and it kept me hooked until the end, but the third act and the resolution seemed unbelievable and a bit unnecessary for my taste
.
Thanks to Marissa Clarke and Entangled Publishing LLC for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

An _ is such a special character on our keyboards, and missing it can change ones life. Jacks assistant forgets to add it to an Instagram post and instead of tagging his sister, tags Cassidy. And now the paparazzi thinks Jack is enamored with her and starts following her.
Jacks PR team thinks this is the perfect opportunity and convinces Cassidy to pretend to be in a fake relationship with Jack for 2 weeks. This will boost not only Jacks image but also Cassidy’s reno business. The plan is going fine until it gets difficult to differentiate between fake and real.
This was a super quick and easy read. A very cute read with some adorable characters, that had me smiling throughout.

I had so much fun with this story! It definitely gave me summer vibes but I didn't mind at all! I love that this combined a famous actor with the power of social media and a small town. Overall a really great story that everyone should all to their TBR.

When I started reading this book, I didn't realize it was the second one of a series. I can see it being okay to read as a standalone. I didn't feel super lost.

I thought the book was cute and very sweet. I found it a little hard to follow in comparison to our reality of life.

The second book in the Hideaway Harbor series can be read as a standalone.
Y'all I loved Accidentally Perfect and the second book was no different.

It was so good being back in Blink, Maine! With these amazing people again!

Accidentally Famous by Marissa Clarke is a small town, feel-good romance.
The cozy little town and its quirky and lovable residents will have you falling in love with Blink and everyone in it.
This well-written book was sweet, funny, and totally enjoyable.
Cassidy and Jack are freaking amazing. I loved their personalities, charm and wittiness.
What a beautiful group of likeable, endearing characters throughout the story.
A fun take on the fake dating trope. Marissa Clarke really did such a phenomenal job here.
Once I started reading I didn’t want to put it down.

I enjoyed the concept of this book. I liked the meet cute through Insta but was a bit hard to follow in relation to reality. E.g I couldn't see a famous actor having time to do so many photoshoots and Q&As and also talking about their private life to paparazzi. But overall I thought it was a quick and fun read.

This romance was super cute and a lot of fun.
The concept is a bit wacky but that's what I like in romcoms. Think the movie Marry Me with Jennifer Lopez; the plot is just pure fun. The characters are delightful and have wonderful chemistry.
This is a clean romance, meaning closed door so if that's not your thing, you've been warned.
Accidentally Famous is perfect beach read honestly.

Actor Jack Winston accidentally tags small town constructor worker Cassidy on Instagram. Her life instantly changes and the paparazzi swarm her in her small town of Blink, Maine. Jack hopes to fix the problem he created and flies to Blink to meet with Cassidy to apologize. Unfortunately, Jack's manager concocts a plan to have Jack pretend to date Cassidy for good publicity. Cassidy finally agrees to help grow her publicity for her construction business. This is a fun story with likeable characters.

Jack Winston may be Hollywood’s biggest action hero, but he’s seriously burned out. He can’t even save himself from his PR team’s latest scheme: dating a starlet. But when his assistant accidentally tags Cassidy James from Blink, Maine (wherever that is) on social media, the paparazzi decide that she’s Jack’s latest fling. Now Jack needs to do some serious damage control…starting with the adorable home reno pro in paint-splattered overalls.

Cassidy is not prepared when the Jack Winston shows up in her quiet little town—and whew, he is that gorgeous in person. Before she can pick her jaw up off the floor, his PR team is bombarding them with a whole new plan involving “fake girlfriend,” “optics,” and “sign this NDA” (whatever that is). But no one warned her that Mr. A-List Action Star is hot, funny as all get out, and loves old houses as much as she does.

Now they have two weeks to convince everyone they’re in a fake relationship—two weeks that will drive Cassidy’s reno business through the roof and help Jack reclaim his “spark.” The plan is going fine, dare she say, perfectly...until she discovers something that will change everything.

This was an interesting enough blurb to mke me pick the book up. The characters were fun and likeable, and the meet cute was not one that has been overdone before. This was a super quick and easy to read book, taking less than an hour to get through.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book; I appreciate it!

This was a sweet and fun book. I got caught up in the story and loved the characters, as most especially the town of Blink. The fake dating storyline was well done and I hope there are more books set in this town which expound on these characters!

Sweet and funny book. Jack is a famous actor, and Cassy is a small town girl with a home renovation business. When she is accidentally tagged in one of Jack's Instagram, they are brought together. Hijinks ensue, and after Jack arrives in Blink, they fall in love.

But can two wildly different people make a relationship work?

Enjoyable read, vivid imagery bring the small town of Blink to life. Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC!

This book pulled me in and and I enjoyed it a lot. I highly recommend this book at a 4 star rating. It's funny, sweet, and a great distraction from the world. It's a small town romance. She's from NY and he lives in Blink population almost extinct. You get to meet a bunch of funny and quirky characters. I sincerely hope this is the beginning of a series

Do you think if I Blink enough times, I could land myself in Blink? That’s how much I have enjoyed this series and especially this story, this is number two in the Hidden Hideaway series, but they each focus on a different main couple, so they can be read as stand-alone, they do pop up in each other’s stories, but it’s a bonus rather than the main story. Cassidy is such a sweetheart, but she is irritating at times, you do want her to realise her potential, but then she does something that makes you care so deeply again. Jack was a surprise though, when you got to see him beneath the superstar shine that was a great story. I love the background characters; they made the story flow so well.

This was a really cute “fake dating” trope and “famous/unfamous” trope. I thought the characters were compelling and the humor/small town feel worked very well. I never felt like the storyline was overly forced, which sometimes happens with fake dating.

I loved this sweet romance! I couldn't seem to put it down. I have never read any of the other books currently in this series, just dove right in with this one and loved it! The writing is wonderful with fun banter and characters that draw you in. The small town setting is perfect and (coming from a small town) so very true to form. The spin at the end while solved quickly felt believable and sweet. I can't wait to read more by this author and see what else she brings to the table for this small town and the people in it!
