This was a super cute novella about finding the joy in Christmas.

I really enjoyed the plot and how they are entering to get lease of the turkey trotter. Although this seems too short and the tension between them goes on for too long for a novella.

You also have to think really hard about which pov the chapter is in - could put it in the chapter title.

A quant quick and easy read. A charming little story with a bit of humour and cosiness about it. It was fun to read and made for a nice afternoon relax. This book and a cup of tea, by the time I finished my tea and snack I had finished the book.

A cute book and something to read when you want a quick bit of fun.

This was very fast paced, and, honestly, a little cringe. I felt as if Max and Dixie were not at all compatible. I wonder what could have been achieved if this wasn't a novella.... And if Max was less.... Weird.

This was a brilliant novella. I loved every second of it. For such a short story the characters were fantastic and I really connected with them. They were realistic and fun. I just loved the Story line and how forgetful she was while trying to get her promotion it was fun and interesting. It was a brilliant heartwarming story that flowed so well. It definitely put a smile on my face and perfect for the holiday season. It was so refreshing to read a fantastic story free from spicy scenes. I really recommend this book as it is so well wrote and was a delight to read. The pace was great and it just made me want to read more from this brilliant author.

Only the highest of praise goes out to the author and publishing team for creating such a wonderful and interesting story that you will not be able to put down.

Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book was a perfect Christmas read to cozy up by the couch and fire with. It definitely gives off that Hallmark movie feeling.

Dixie takes a job at a winery in Oregon with high hopes after leaving her fiancé (who was hooking up with her maid of honor) in New York City. As she tries to make a name for herself, she enters a contest to try to prove her value. Her competition? None other than the giant flirt, Max, who is determined to win her over.

I definitely recommend this one during the holidays, I enjoyed it so much!

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. The cover is rest cute. The story itself is okay. It is a really cheesy Christmas holiday story. I think the story had potential but it just seemed really rushed and we really didn't get to know the main characters. If you are looking for a fast read for Christmas then you might want to check this story out. I didn't hate it or anything it is just a cute Hallmark type story plot love story.

Cute and quick Christmas read. I enjoyed the pacing and there were some highs. Personally, I got a little annoyed with the main character but I still thought it was a cute story.

Cute story. Wish it wasn't a novella... I really think more could have been done with the storyline and character growth. I was confused a few times because at one point one of the twins calls her "Aunt Dixie" but then a little later they just refer to her as "the nice lady"... So.... continuity is a little out of place there. Also, at times the characters sound like they are 80-years-old (not that there is a problem with that) or in a different era. Some of the words/phrases used just seem out of place. Also... Max? Sorry, but if I came across a guy like him I'd smack him up-side his head because he just doesn't seem like a guy that lives in the century.

The story of Dixie and Max. She thinks he is in town to steal the job she has worked so hard for, but will she fall for him anyway?
A great read

Let There Be Snow is a short romantic novella that did put me into a festive mood straightaway.
What I liked the most about this fairly quick read were all these small and memorable details that helped me imagine Dixie's office, Dixie herself and her life story, the town and its community
Unfortunately, I never quite warmed up to Max, the male protagonist, and although I tried to understand his own barand of charm and his attempts at flirting, inspired by his self-help book, they did rub me the wrong way. Even his grand gesture at the end wasn't completely selfless, given what he told Dixie of his future business plans. Maybe a bit more backstory could have helped. He has just spent ten years abroad-I'm sure there are lots of social habits he picked up in France that are quite different in his new life back home or maybe a bit more on why he is such good friends with Jamie and Ernest.
Recommended to anyone who loves the small town setting, characters who are in love with love and would like to have a committed relationship, and, of course, anyone who loves snow and happily-ever-afters.

This novella is a quick read that leaves you with a “hallmark christmas” feeling. Due it it’s length, there wasn’t much room for character development, but it was a cozy read.

First of all I love christmas books. With all the gooey feelings, the warmt and the cheesiness. .. but this book was for me too corny and too cliche. And I did not like the Main characters. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion

Much like Dixie, I secretly wish for snow at Christmas! Unlike Dixie, I would not be one to fall for an obnoxious, clueless, sexist man like Max. I felt like the barista that he called beautiful- annoyed every time he spoke. I loved the small town backdrop plus the time spent at the winery, but I did not ship the main characters. Luckily, this was a novella, so it made for a lighthearted, quick read.

Thank you for this ARC! I usually love a Christmas themed rom-com, but not this one. The story was short, but this made the characters very underdeveloped. The male protagonist specifically was sexist and problematic at times. I really would not recommend this book and wish the author had been more sensitive in her story-telling. Giving it one star because zero stars is not an option.

I really enjoyed this novella, a Christmas romance but not to overpowering. I would make a sweet Christmas movie, easy to watch but very enjoyable. 5 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

Let There Be Snow is a sweet holiday inspired novella by Charlotte Rains Dixon that I enjoyed reading. I was able to read this on my lunch breaks at work and never felt that I was missing something. The chapters flowed nicely and the story line was easy to follow. I enjoyed reading a story that was centered around a winery in the Pacific Northwest and had just enough Christmas without being only about Christmas.

I felt the relationship between Dixie and Max was good and found myself rooting for them to be together. Max definitely had some hurdles to overcome and some mistakes to make up for, but in the end I think he made the right choice. If you enjoy stories about small towns, fresh starts, and friends that become more like family, then you will enjoy this book. And remember, Christmas is always more magical with snow!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Thank you to NetGalley and Xpresso Book Tours for sending this ARC for my review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A good Christmas romance story set in the wine country of Oregon. Fun read, that was a light and quick read that would be easy to take along. Would recommend.

BLURB:
Christmas isn’t Christmas without snow. So Dixie Dunham believes.

But she’s about to experience a Christmas with nothing but cold, gray rain after taking a job at the Starlight Winery in Pineview, Oregon, smack in the middle of wine country. Dixie likes her new job at the winery and she’s hoping owners Jamie and Ernest will soon name her to the position of national sales manager. She’s certain the proposal she’s working on for a city-sponsored contest will cement her claim to the job. That would be something to impress the friends and family she left behind in New York.

And Dixie is desperate to impress them, seeing as how she fled after her fiancée jilted her at the altar in favor of her maid-of-honor best friend. Now as the December days shorten and darken and Pineview celebrates the season with lavish decorations and festive events, it’s hitting Dixie hard how much she’s lost. All she has left besides her job is the company of her loyal dog, Bo. And a Christmas without snow.

When Jamie and Ernest introduce her to their good friend Max Pettigrew, who has just moved from Paris back to Pineview after a wrenching divorce, she’s instantly attracted to him. Ridiculously handsome he may be, but he’s also ridiculously annoying. When the two of them turn out to be vying to win the same city contest, her annoyance turns to anger. But Max grows more determined to win her over, inviting her to the Pineview Christmas parade and holiday parties, and turning to a stream of self-help books to help improve himself.

Sadly, this was a firm no for me. I didn't like the main character, Max, at all. I thought he was such a jerk! I also didn't like the other main character, Dixie, any better, I thought she was such a flake.

A super short 89 pages long, finished in under 30 minutes.

Thank you to @netgalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.

I received this complimentary copy from NetGalley. In return I would give a honest review of the book.

I enjoyed this novella. It is a quick and easy read so much so, that I couldn't stop reading and needed to know what happened with Max and Dixie. This novella made me laugh, cry and gave me all the feel good feeling that come along with Christmas time. This novella is a Hallmark movie wrapped up in book form. I recommend this novella to kick off your Christmas reading.
