Loved this book! My favorite one in the series… so far.
I was curious how Ann was going to keep the tension since we already (mostly) knew how the book was going to end. It was brilliant! I have never read a book where the characters and timeline overlap like this series, while still moving both forward. It’s done so well! Because of this, I highly recommend reading these stories in order.
Leanne is abrasive to start with, but we quickly learn why and what makes her tick. When Leanne and Trevors paths cross, its happy accident turned beneficial agreement with swoon worthy interactions on every page.
Since I listened to this as an audio-ARC, I would be remiss to not mention how much I love Ava Lucas! She is a FANTASTIC narrator and makes these stories enjoyable to listen to.
Thank you NetGalley, DreamscapeMedia, and Ann Aguirre for the chance to listen to this great story!!

This latest Fix-It witches book started off with a bang (literally!), as strangers Leanne and Trevor have a steamy hook-up that later leads to a marriage of convenience that slowly turns into something real neither of them was expecting.
Both Leanne and Trevor have been burned by love in the past so when Leanne proposes they team up to help her chances running for a seat on City council it seems like a good idea. Jobless, loveless and tired of always disappointing his toxic family, Trevor was hopeful this change could be a good thing and make his family think he's doing something with his life.
I loved the mental health rep in this book, especially that Trevor is the one struggling with depression and feelings of self-worth. There is great found family and amazingly STEAMY open door scenes. It was also fun seeing the evolution of the witchy world as Leanne fights for the coven to come out into the open.
Great on audio, this is my new favorite in the series and was totally worth the wait. I'm excited to see what's next as it seems like there may be another book still to come with these characters. Much thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for early digital copies in exchange for my honest review!
