A delightful tale of two individuals with dreams and plans that don't involve a partner. Then, fate intervenes, bringing them together, and they realize that having a companion enriches their lives. The story is filled with familiar characters, humor, animals, and rodeo excitement, making it an entertaining read. ❤
I have never read a Shanna Hatfield but she is definitely on my watch for list now! I needed a good cowboy book in my life and this one DELIVERED! 10/10

Will have you hooked from the first page
Thanks NetGalley
Troy is working at saving his family ranch and Lark is running a food truck with the hopes of one day being a chef in Portland. Meeting because of a runaway bull that sets the stage for the rest of the book and a really good story of two people finding each other and themselves. a wonderful story.
"Savoring Christmas" takes its place as the tenth instalment in Shanna Hatfield's delightful Rodeo Romance series. This heartwarming story proved to be an enjoyable and sweet read, leaving me eager to delve into the remaining books in the series.
Troy is a man who has always prioritized his family, a commitment exemplified by his decision to leave his full-time rodeo career to manage the family ranch alongside his cousin Truitt and their Grandma. At a local fair, his path crosses with Lark when he comes to her rescue. Despite the weight of his responsibilities, he recognizes that there's something truly special about her.
Lark harbors dreams of leaving town to pursue her aspiration of owning a restaurant, a path she's been steadfastly working towards despite numerous challenges. In the meantime, she pours her energy into her food truck. Meeting Troy, however, takes her by surprise.
Troy embodies the qualities of a shy yet chivalrous cowboy who will go to great lengths for those he cares about. Ranch life is his calling, just as the food business is Lark's passion. From the moment they meet, Troy and Lark share a magnetic chemistry, but they must navigate their own trials and confront personal demons before they can truly embrace their connection. Both characters undergo significant growth throughout the narrative, making their journey all the more compelling.
In sum, "Savoring Christmas" is a charming story that held my attention from start to finish. I found myself genuinely fond of Lark and Troy, and the supporting cast of characters added depth to the narrative. I'm eagerly anticipating Truitt's story next. If you have an affection for rodeo excitement, animals, vivid food descriptions, engaging banter, and clean romance, this book is a must-read.
I extend my gratitude to Netgalley and Wholesome Hearts Publishing for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest review.
It was cute story...I loved it ,the interaction between the male and female lead was really adorable to read . Thank you for the book ,I really enjoyed it.
4.25 stars for me.o
This is a good book. The two main characters are Lark and Troy. Lark is a food truck owner. Troy helps run his family ranch, a farrier, and part time rodeo star. They meet at a rodeo. There is an instant attraction. They start to date but it is hard with their busy lives. They each have issues but together they work through them and fall in love.
Troy met Lark when he comes to her rescue and find himself attracted to her. Troy is an ex-pro rodeo roper who run a family ranch with his grandmother. He gave up his dream of working the rodeo circuit to look after his grandmother. Lark on the other hand, has plans for her future , to owned a restaurant in Portland and to achieve that , she works tirelessly on her food truck. Both of them had difficult relationships in the past and neither is looking for anything serious. What started of as a friendship, fate seem to keep drawing them together.
This is a heartwarming story of two person who have dreams found love when they least expected it. Love especially the nickname that Troy gave Lark “songbird”.

Book ten in the Rodeo Romance series. Troy Lucas walked away from his winning rodeo career to run the family ranch he meets food truck owner Chef Lark Gibson. I enjoyed reading this story and seeing them get their happy ending with all the ups and downs they went through. I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Troy Lucas gave up a great deal once his grandfather passed away to help run the ranch with his cousin and grandmother. He sometimes longs for the rodeo career he once had, even though he still does team roping with his cousin and has a clientele he serves as a farrier, but at the end of the day there’s nowhere else he’d rather be than home on the ranch.
Lark Gibson studied abroad to be a chef and has a dream of opening a restaurant in Portland. In the meantime, she’s operating her own food truck called “Bud’s Spuds” and goes to as many fairs and festivals as time allows to build up her reputation and her bank account. At one fair, she gets knocked over by a rogue bull, but Troy helps bring her to her feet again.
Troy isn’t looking for love since he has more than he can handle with the ranch, his farrier business and roping. Lark has sworn off men after her last relationship and is focused on her food truck and her dream of moving to Portland. She has a hard time getting the cowboy who loves her tater tot creations out of her mind and Troy can’t stop thinking about the red-headed beauty who makes sure he doesn’t go hungry when she’s around.
A great wholesome romance to get you in the holiday spirit.

It kept my attention throughout that I just had to finish reading it in one sitting. It's an amazing page turning novel that I am sure you will feel the same as me. I definitely recommend this book as you will not be disappointed especially if you love cowboy romance novels. The characters were wonderful and so easy to love. This book would definitely make an amazing film as it played like one in my head as I was reading it. I just loved the amazing work ethics that ran through this book.
Only the highest of praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating this amazing story that brought out some amazing emotions within me. I will definitely be looking out for more books by this fantastic author.

Such a fun, small town romance! The characters are so entertaining and it's a sweet little story.
Lark runs a food truck based on tater tots she makes from her parent's potato farm. She has plans to open a big city restaurant until she falls for a small town boy. Troy stepped back from the rodeo circuit to take care of his grandma and the family farm. Grammy and Tru are such fun characters, too.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.
This was such an adorable sweet romance! It is full of heart, humor and best of all holiday cheer! Cute read! It's really the perfect holiday read! I'd like to watch it play out on the Hallmark Channel!
Quickie observations:
The writing frequently felt labored with unwieldy sentences.
Sometimes simple is better: if it's a steer, call it a steer and forget about bovine, beef, cow all used to describe the same animal.
A nice enough romance but slow and considering the writing, just not my cup of tea.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Yeah for Troy and Lark. His shyness only made the book sweeter. Her coming back from a horrific beating shows her strength. They fit together like the right puzzle pieces. Their friends were great too.
The rodeo, love, and Christmas are three of my favorite things. This is a sweet romance about finding yourself and one that I will pick up and read again and again. I will be reading all of the books in the series.
I am running to read all of the books that came before Savoring Christmas. I loved every minute of this book! This falls on my "books I wish I could read for the first time again" list.
Broody cowboy and a sweet, outgoing girl have an undeniable pull towards each other. What's not to love? Read Savoring Christmas! You will not be disappointed.
lark and Troy were so beautiful to read about. I loved how they both had their fears with letting someone in, whether it was family or their career. I love how the message was basically that life can give you beautiful things when least expected. Thank you netgalley for the arc.
What a lovely book about romance and believing in yourself. Lark Gibson has a food truck called Bud’s Spuds and meets cowboy Troy Lucas who lives on the family ranch with Grandma and cousin Truitt. There is an instant attraction but neither of them are sure that the other one feels it too. Will Lark follow her dream of eventually opening a restaurant in Portland or give in to her feelings about Troy. Troy doesn’t know if he is ready to settle down or even good enough to make a long time commitment. I absolutely loved the characters in this book and how they were all connected. I was willing Lark and Troy to tell each other how they felt and loved how their relationship developed. Good clean romance at its best. Thank you to Netgalley and Wholesome Hearts Publishing for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.
I was hooked from chapter one. The setting, character, and meet cue sucked me in and I could not put the book down. Jus the read I needed for my Thanksgiving break.
