As an adult going through divorce and trying nesting, I was interested in this book to learn more about nesting and if there was anything I was missing. For the most part it confirmed that I was "doing it right." The book was well written and approachable. I would recommend it for those brand-new to the concept of nesting, who want an introduction. While the book does go through step-by-step recommendations for setting up nesting, telling friends and family, and giving examples of how different families have approached it, it is still heavy on the author's experience. For example, the author's children were all older (7+) when she and her husband separated, and how she supports them and explains things is geared towards older children. For those divorcing with babies and toddlers, there are very few examples or supports. The subject of significant others is also skimmed over a bit, so for those looking for advice on how to nest while integrating new parenting figures into the picture, this book is not for you.
Conclusion: Well written, accessible introduction for those new to nesting. For those looking for higher level support or for those with more complicated arrangements, may not fully meet the need.
