This novella takes up immediately after the last with Becs trying to adjust to the loss of Ash ......... using her shop , friends and even Gregory , who is also going through a similar process - his mom is stuck in a hell world , to take her mind off just what she has lost .
Lucifer , bent on vengeance is determined to stir the pot and decides Gregory is the weak link to use against Becs in their uocoming confrontation .......... can she overcome her grief to keep Lucifer at bay ?

This is an enjoyable novella - but it feels a little too short for me ....... but it does serve as a filler and base for the next book in the series

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Really not my style of reading. If you like supernatural suspense this is the read for you. Some subtle romance, more or less how one woman fights the devils influence.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This book takes place right after the last one not giving anyone time to recover from all that happened. I was happy to get a copy since I wanted to know what was going to happen next so badly. I wish it had been a little longer. It has me ready for the next one already.

This is the 4th book of The Summoner's Mark series, it can be read as stand alone, you will little bit lost but still enjoy the story. My second in this series, i cant read the 2nd(Fae Crossed), the 3rd (Hell Bound) because already archived *crying* and this novella is good.

Becs adventure continue, she still in pain of loosing Ash and must moving foward with her sorrow. Beside that Lucifer still hunting her and Gregory, he wants to take revenge. Lucifer approach Samhain to use his power at Hallowen. Many POV in this book not only from Becs. Celtic realm was amazing, i get to know about many deity and their teritory. I cant wait for next book! Is finaly Gregory wish in first book will fulfill? Is Becs ready for next love?

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

What a wonderful short story to take us between the previous book and future one! After all the insanity and loss from the previous story, everyone is still very raw.

Becs is still recovering and adjusting to the loss of her boyfriend/guardian angel/BFF. This is a slow process, and she has found solace in her friends, her inherited shop, and even the ex-mobster Gregory. Gregory is going through his own grieving process, having accepted that his mom is stuck in a horrible hell world. He’s trying to be good, but lots of things are fighting against him. Namely - Lucifer has decided that he is the weak link here.

In this story we meet Samhain, who is eagerly looking forward to his once a year visit to earth, to check in with his worshipers and generally party it up. Lucifer ends up connecting with him with nefarious intentions, using him as a ticket to Becs. All in all, this was a good “between” story, helping us transition from the loss/grief angle and into one where Gregory is trying to pivot to being bad, but for good reasons. I’m eager to see where this world takes us and how their relationship evolves.

The gang is back, Becky, Gregory and crew, and of course Pinkie makes the scene. A fun novella, super quick read and tense battle with the Morningstar. But where the heck is Asher?

I was immersed in the story from the first page, and I loved seeing Becs, Pinky, Gregory, and all the rest again. Poor Becs is still dealing with the fallout of the last book, and she has even more problems on her plate. This book just made me hungry for more in the series, and I hope the next one comes out quickly. Highly recommend.

I have been reading this series for a little while, and I was happy to see a new book even if it’s a novella, and they aren’t my favorite.
