Me and my children read this book. With all the characters within. It's about santa and how his sleigh went missing. Santa notice that his sleigh is missing and must find it so he can deliver toys. Who took it and why.
This was a fun story to read. It had action and adventure throughout. And also a mystery within. The illustrations went well with the story and were colorful.
I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
This is an adorable book about Santa. My daughter loved it! The story is bright and clear to follow for my little 3 year old. It's an original story to get you in the holiday spirit.
My son thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it comical. Lots of laughs 😃 A great fun Christmas read.
Thank you NETGALLEY for the arc In exchange for a review.
It's the night before Christmas, Bucky the reindeer has taken off with Santa's sleigh.
Santa looked everywhere for his missing sleigh getting further behind in the present drop off. The elves finally found Bucky and the sleigh. He had needed to do something special for Mrs Claus for Christmas. He wanted to get her a week at the lake with canoes. Mrs. Claus tells him while the thought was nice the sleigh wasn't his to take.
Santa dashed off to deliver the packages before it was too late!! The Claus's and the elves enjoyed a nice week at the lake..
This was probably really cute. However it’s impossible to read an ARC on kindle of picture books because they aren’t formatted. But cute!
Santa's Lost Sleigh had fun illustrations and characters, but the story itself was not very appealing. Santa's sleigh goes missing and Santa and the elves look all over to find it. They figure out that one of the reindeer took it to pick up a gift for Mrs. Santa. We talked a lot about the illustrations and the idea that taking something without asking is wrong. We also talked about what might have happened if he had an accident. The rhyming text was okay, but there were a few spots where the cadence was a bit off. Overall, this was a cute story, but not one we would probably read again.

I have high expectations with holiday books. They have a short time to shine each year and I want them to amaze me. This one was just okay with my. One of my kids loves it though.
Ideal for kids between age 4-7 - my kids enjoyed it immensely. They loved how funny it was. They really loved the rhyming couplets, it really flowed nicely in that respect and gave a very steady rhythm to the book.
The book is brilliant because it the book has been thought out and the illustrations are nice for the children, humorous, mischievous and fun!
With thanks to Netgalley for this free ARC in return for my review.
The illustrations are colorful and cute. The story however was a little lacking. It needed to be a little more entertaining.
This is a quirky and fun children's Christmas book, which my daughter and I enjoyed reading together. It has very colourful illustrations, and rhyming text, which children will love.
The story is about Santa waking up to find his sleigh gone. He searches high and low, but he cannot find it. Where could it be, and who could have taken it? Hopefully he will get it back on time for Christmas Day!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
Super cute story for little ones this Christmas season. Nice moral about not taking what doesn’t belong to you. Cute illustrations
🛷 This is a cute little holiday picture book! The illustrations are great!
🎅🏼 The story is written in verse, which sometimes felt a tad bit forced to me, but kids won’t notice or mind.
🛷 The antics of searching for his sleigh are fun! Plus, the story ends with a nice little moral that it isn’t nice to take things that don’t belong to you without asking first, even if your intentions are good. Cute story + moral = Win Win!
Thank you @NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for an eARC of this book, which I have read and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
Santa's Lost Sleigh is a funny story of Santa losing his sleigh around Christmas. They go through all the steps to finding his sleigh. A cute christmas story for ages 3-7
This book was only so-so. It starts out, wanting to be in the pattern of the night before Christmas but it’s not done very well. There are times that rhyme is harsh and the cadence falls off. The story itself is almost kind of annoying. The sleigh is missing and they’re looking for it everywhere and it turns out to reindeer went off with it to bring Santa back a present. This book is fine for this Christmas and maybe the next, but I don’t expect to find it on library shelves within the next five years.
This was the cutest story told by rhyme about Santa missing his sleigh. I was waiting till I had a grandchild to read it to but found that it just as entertaining to an adult. In fact, I could appreciate the '"poetry format" more than the six-year-old did. I loved the excellent graphics, too. Very entertaining! I was fortunate to have NetGalley provide an e-book version but I think I would like to own the actual book, as well
Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the e-book version of this book. The book is written by Rachel Hilz and illustrated by Remesh Ram. Everything I write is of my own thoughts feelings and opinions. I am in no way affiliated with or compensated for my review.
This book is very entertaining and more up to date with the times in regards to modern normal everyday type things such as tv- sports car- cell phones and the like. The book aslo had a good lesson written in with the elf learning a lesson to always ask first.
This is a beautifully written and illustrated short read that is festive for the season and perfect for the younger and older kids at heart.
Santa's sleigh is missing, where is it?
This is a Christmas book, very fun, and great for the time we are living!
With very cute drawings and a good story.
I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.
This story shows what happens when you give your elves too much freedom. They steal your sleigh on the most important night of the year because they want a lake vacation.
I like how this story imagines different elf departments at the North Pole. It's definitely in line with me telling my kids our second Elf on the Shelf worked in the accounting department. And it makes sense too, because you've got to have some specialities up there to keep things running smoothly, right?
The illustrations were bright and colorful with just enough detail to make them interesting without being too complicated and distracting. I wouldn't have minded reading this book to my kids a few times when they were younger, which is always a bonus when you're buying children's books, because you're going to have to read them more than once.
Overall I give this book 4.1 out of 5 stars.
Read this book to my 7 year old granddaughter. She didn’t like the story. She thought it “wasn’t fun”. She liked the artwork of the book. I had to agree with her. The book just seemed to be flat. Sorry…
