Are you freakin kidding me!!! Ok so let me start by saying I was intrigued by the book summary. Although I would recommend reading book one first, I did not and felt like picking up crumbs of a yummy cookie. Definitely not enough to appreciate the previous book, but I muddled through. Let’s start with this book takes on a different PNR story, which I loved. I enjoyed the storyline and the over all characters, but unfortunately I felt missing information on them since I didn’t read book one. The steamy scenes are not mild but not over the top. This is a cliffhanger, which I wasn’t expecting, hence my opening sentence. The book tended to drag for me in some areas and some areas were given to much attention to detail while others I felt needed it, did not get it. Because I have to most definitely know what happens next, I will be on the look out for book three.

I really liked this overall even though it’s the second in a series. Sometimes I got confused with the characters because of that reason but it was a fun quick read and I’ll be going back to the first book soon to see what that one is about. I do love me wolves and witches. Not my favourite but it was a fun story to read and I didn’t really have no complaints on this. 3.5 stars for me.

Honestly, I didn't know what I was getting into with this story... but I'm glad I got to read it... there are so many things that I actually liked about this that opens my eyes to different love stories...
