Sometimes you just need a rom-com that will pull you in and make you feel a little bit of everything! This book will make you laugh, cry, really think and maybe even make you just a little angry...all the things a really great story should do! Who doesn't love a touch of enemies to lovers, mixed with all the drama in-between.

I will say, the only real downfall is that this book left me wanting more...I wanted to learn more about the life that Sam will live with Em!

Such great writing! Such a great story! Just a well-rounded book all together.

It took me al little while to get into this book at first. Sam seemed a bit over the top at first. However, she grew on me as I continued reading.
I really loved the ending and how everything came to be. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

😍 So, picture this: our main gal Samantha Canton is like the shining star of the whole shebang. At first, I was like, "Whoa, she's a bit much," but then I realized she's just authentically bubbly, enthusiastic, and all-around awesome! Total heart of gold, too. Can't help but adore her! 💖

And then there's Emerson, the brooding hero. He's like the complete opposite of Samantha—grumpy, tight-lipped, and secretly harboring a big ol' crush on her (which, by the way, I totally saw coming from a mile away 😏). But hey, opposites attract, right?

Now, let's talk about the humor in this book. I mean, it's off the charts! 😂 From the witty banter to the hilarious situations, this book had me in stitches from beginning to end! And don't even get me started on the family feels. Samantha's sisters are total squad goals, always there to lift her up when she's feeling down. Can't wait to dive into their stories next!

And guess what? This book has all the tropes we love! Grumpy guy falling for the sunshine girl? Check. Forced proximity leading to sparks flying? Oh yeah, especially during that epic business trip to Europe! Enemies turning into lovers? You betcha. And let's not forget the office romance angle—Emerson totally falls head over heels first! 🥰

Plus, there's plenty of groveling (because who doesn't love a good grovel?), and the whole vibe is just so uplifting and feel-good. It's like the ultimate romance package!

Oh, and did I mention I got to read this gem early thanks to NetGalley? Talk about a major win! 🌟 So yeah, if you're into swoon-worthy romance with a side of belly laughs, this book is an absolute must-read! 🎉📖

Have you ever gotten that feeling that you’re too much? That you’re too loud and you dress too boldly?

Sam Canton knows precisely how you feel, especially compared to her quiet, grumpy (and British) coworker, Emerson Clark.

This book doesn’t shy away from the fact that it uses well-known tropes such as the infamous grumpy-vs-sunshine characters, not to mention the fact that Emerson so happens to be a billionaire, but manages to use these tropes in a way that it feels like a comfort book much more than a carbon copy of other romance books.

I loved that Sam remained her loud and extroverted self throughout the book, never shying away from bright colors. She might not fit into the mold of a serious businesswoman but she’s here to show you that she gets the job done excellently, pink blazer and all.

She’s very much a girl’s girl and is kind to everyone she meets. All of her ‘mistakes’, such as sharing way more than necessary or just being awkward, make Sam feel more relatable than I expected.

My one complaint about this book was its pacing, which I felt was too fast. Sam and Emerson’s relationship, despite being adorable, moved forward with inconsistent speed which threw me off every now and then.

I loved the support system that the author created with Sam and her sisters. Seeing such a strong bond between them was incredibly wholesome to read. They were always there for each other, bad decisions and all, and it struck me while reading their funny text messages to each other, that I can’t remember another book where the siblings were all so close.

All in all, this book delivers on what it promises: a cute romance with characters who initially can’t stand each other, but sparks fly when they realize their differences are just what might bring them together.

This book was extremely good for me. I have really enjoyed reading Sam and Emmerson's story and it is by far my favorite one on the series!!! The dynamics between the main characters, the tropes, the plot twist (although I kinda expected it), the bond between the sisters, etc. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!!

Sam and Emmerson's romance is a 10/10 to me, I have grown very fond of them and I loved the way they were evolving. I got a little scared at the end when it seemed that things were going to the bad but luckily the situation improved and in what way!!! The last two chapters and the epilogue have been very cute.

This book gave me the feels!! Love the characters, loooooveeeee a good sunshine/ grump romance 😍😍.
It’s kinda a cliche romance but it still warms me inside!

One of those books where you constantly have a smile on your face while reading. Funny, witty and absolutely hilarious. The perfect grumpy to sunshine. I loved the banter between Samantha and Emerson.
And I love it when a book has message threads. Loved forced proximity and this seemed like such a good blend of The Hating Game and The Spanish Love Deception.

Thank you Netgalley for an ARC.

I didn't like this one whatsoever. Which is funny since the reviews I've seen seem to be going either way. I wasn't able to get into it as the characters weren't super likeable. On the other hand, it had a lot of potential and could be liked by many. It may have just been the book slump I was in.

Sadly this was not for me. I couldn’t finish it even after a few tries. Thank you for the ARC and hopefully I’ll have better luck with this author in the future.

This one just wasn't for me. I tried to like it, I really did, but I found the writing to be cringey and impossible to get through. The plot line has a lot of potential and I am definitely open to giving this author another shot in the future.

I was lucky to receive an advance copy of Things I Overshared by Kelsey Humphreys from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. OMG I LOVED this book! When I started reading this I truly was not expecting to love it like I did. This book is such a fun read and will have you giggling at several situations throughout the story. Do yourself a big favor and read this the first chance you get.

I felt such an incredible connect to Sam throughout the entire book, which led me to reading it in less than 24 hours.

Sam’s entire persona - the larger than life, loud, “too much”ness compared to Emerson’s very reserved, quietness mirrors my marriage to my husband. I throughly enjoyed every minute of these two falling in love. Their whirlwind romance in Europe and everything in between was an incredibly beautiful story of finding acceptance for oneself, and for learning that the right one will love you just for being you.

This book made me feel incredibly seen, and truly could not have come at a better point in my life to remind myself that too much doesn’t exist when you’re with the right one. Five stars. I loved it.

Although this is not the first book in the series, we do not feel like outsiders once the narrative begins. At its core, it's a group of sisters who have each other's back and have their own troubles that they keep hidden from others.
In this second book, we meet Samantha, who is an extrovert. This latter trait is something that the author focused on, mostly as a counter-narrative to that of another sister who is a painful introvert. I would have liked to read that one. Our plucky sister has been planning a European trip for some other member of the team but is not having to go on it herself. She will not be alone but will be going with the company's CFO, which felt (to her) like the same thing.
The plot line is standard, but the people bring the story to life. I wanted to read it in one sitting, and I almost did.
Both the lead characters have good chemistry, some things more obvious to readers than to the people in the book (obviously). It was a fun visit, and I was really glad to meet up with everyone in the book quite quickly in the next book, which is the actual wedding of the two in this book.
I would recommend this series to anyone who is a fan of this genre and like a strong familial foundation to begin with.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience.

I loved the first book about these sisters. This was just not my trope. He loves her too much that he’s totally rude and incapable of speaking? Just felt like it dragged on.. I want a man who can communicate.

I absolutely loved this book. It hooked me and kept me turning pages until I was done. Finished it in two days! The character development was strong, and the premise was unique enough that it didn't feel like anything else I've read.
