This male author has done an astonishingly good job of bringing a young female character to life. Her voice leaps off the page, full of attitude and character. But what is real and what is not? Is she a reliable narrator or a victim of her own busy mind? I loved the writing style from page one. It is a very unusual book, that’s for sure, and I hope people will be open to its different appeal.
