This is really great! I love action and romance so combined into one is perfection.
However I do believe it is quite short for me I usually read longer books, but maybe shorter is sweeter. I loved the plot and would like to see more. Will definitely read the previous one.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Hayley and Scotty. Hayley is an FBI hacker. Scotty is a navy seal. A member of Scotty’s team got killed. It was not an accident. His team is trying to find his killer. That’s how he meets Hayley. Hayley is trying to find the killer too. There is an instant attraction when they meet. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Quick read! Which sometimes you want, lol.

This is the second book in a series. Which while I was reading, I realized that it's better if you read them in order. This one was about a different couple than book 1 but the drama didn't end with this book. I wouldn't say it's a cliffhanger with the couple, but a cliffhanger with the situation they're all in.

Hadley was a cool girl. She was driven, smart and resourceful. Scotty is a player and in trouble.

It's got a little action, and they've got a mystery to solve while also trying not to get killed.

Scotty is a fast-paced romance in the private security/ex-military world, where Scotty tries to find out more about the murder of a teammate, and along the way finds a woman with the same objective as him. It's easy to read, the storyline follows almost the same lines as others in the same genre, so you won't have something new- but it's still good to read in a cold night.

Well, I do rather like Leslie North romance books... This needs to be said!

But I do feel like I have read this book before...
But that is because this series is very similar in the storyline compared to her other books.

So basically, what I am saying is this; If you have read one SEAL-series from Leslie North, you have read them all... But they are still good! ;-)

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

Another short and intriguing story. This one about Navy SEAL Scotty and FBI Analyst Hayley. There is an on-going storyline that carries across all 4 books in this series so it pays to read them in order.

Scotty is determined to help his seal team brother's discover why their teammate, Nick, was murdered. They are willing to do just about anything to find the person responsible and they keep getting closer but then get a setback. When Scotty is at an abandoned house looking for clues he never thought he would find a fiery redhead ready to fight, if necessary, to protect herself. Hayley is trying to solve this case while hopefully proving she deserves a promotion at the FBI. She didn’t expect to find a hot navy seal who will steal her heart. Things start to go down when they are traced to a location. Will they be able to make it out alive and keep working on finding who killed Nick? I was given a copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 2nd book in the “Seal Ten Series”. This is an entertaining read that is chalked full of mystery, mayhem, secrets, corruption, murder, drama filled, action packed, suspenseful, great characters and the plot is oh so good. Hayley is an FBI cybersecurity specialist and Scotty is a super sexy alpha male and he is part of the Seal Team Ten. Hayley and Scotty meet when they are tracking down a lead for Nick’s wife Natalie that is missing and possible dead. Hayley’s boss Michelle is on the wrong side of the law and she wants Hayley to find proof that one of the Seal Ten has killed one of their own. Hayley learns of her boss Michelle’s deception. Scotty finds out that Hayley has major hacking skills. The two are spending more and more time together and are growing closer and closer. Hayley and Scotty find themselves on the run to keep alive.

Who killed Nick and why, where is Natalie is she dead or alive, does she know anything, why are the Seals being set up, what did Nick know that got him killed, can Scotty and Hayley keep each other safe and alive?

I received an ARC via NetGalley and Relay Publishing I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Complementary copy given for my honest review and opinion. ARC provided by NetGalley and the publisher. Leslie North continues this series getting further into the mystery of the murdered SEAL. Scotty has a hard time focusing when his heart and hormones are chasing a cute little FBI agent assigned to the same case but for different reasons.

Easy to read, fast paced and, surprisingly, it actually has a plot! Looking forward to the next stories.

This is the first book by Leslie North I have read, and it is book 2 in the Seal Team Ten series, which consists of four books.

Up until close to the end, I was thinking you could read this as a stand-alone book, however, discovered at the end that the main story flows across the series. In good news, all books are released in November 2022 so would recommend grabbing the full series if you don't want to be left hanging.

Book 1 - Gage, released November 3, 2022
Book 2 - Scotty, released November 10, 2022
Book 3 - Spenser, released November 17, 2022
Book 4 - Kyle, released November 24, 2022.

The ultimate story is around the death of a fellow team-mate taken out by a sniper; through each book a new couple will take center stage in these special ops, suspense romance stories. In this book, Scotty and Hayley (aka Red), are searching for Nick, the seal killed wife who has gone missing in the hope of uncovering who and why he was targeted. While some of the players are uncovered, the mastermind who is feared by those working for him is still out there to be discovered and stopped, but at what cost to the remaining Seal Team?

Overall, this was a quick easy read, had the ingredients you want form a special ops suspense romance.

I loved how fast paced this book was. Scotty and Haley pull you in from the very first chapter. The plot was interesting enough even without the romance but their relationship definitely made it better. I can't wait to read Spencer's story!

Oooh oooh oooh! This series is heating up! I can't wait for the next book! This book had it all! It had suspense, intrigue, plenty of action, murder, mystery and even romance! The books in this series basically tie up what's going on in that book but the bigger picture makes you wait, in suspense lol for the next book! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book and series! They're well worth reading! I can't wait for more in this series! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

This book by Leslie North is a pretty quick read. We are once again with SEAL Team 10 as they try to find answers into the death of their teammate, Nick. This book involves Halley and Scotty. Halley works for the FYI and Scotty is part of the SEAL team. This book is really an insta love book. Both Halley and Scotty are enjoyable leads and you do root for them and their HEA. A nice addition to the series. Thank you NetGalley and Leslie North for an advanced copy.

Scotty, picked up where Gage left off. Highly recommend reading Gage first if you haven't already. Hayley is a great addition to the team. Being an analyst for the FBI she's able to get some answers that they need. A lot of suspense kept me entertained.

I really enjoyed this novel by Leslie North. Somehow, I missed the first book in the series, Gage, but this book does okay as a standalone. That said, it's probably better to read the series from book one because there's an overarching storyline (SEAL Team Ten's hunt for the person or organization that killed their teammate Nick and sets them all up) that's going to span all four novels.

This novel follows Scotty and FBI cybercrimes investigator Hayley. They have a SEAL-style meet-cute when they run into each other at Nick's widow's house, where they both went secretly, each trying to find out where Natalie was and what she was hiding. Perhaps a bit too quickly, they decide to trust each other and work together. When we're first introduced to Hayley, she seemed like she was going to be a cute, slightly bumbling do-gooder who is far too naive to be the field agent she dreams of being. Instead, she's a hacking genius (supposedly, but I wish we saw more evidence of that) who is quick on her feet and easily able to keep pace with Scotty and his team.

The two all but experience instalove in the middle of dodging bullets and dealing with colleagues who may be more treacherous than trustworthy. There's a little angst because Scotty, a former foster child, feels slightly unworthy and Hayley has had a habit of dating asshats, but it never catches much traction. Most of the drama comes in the form of suspense related to Nick's death. And that's the kind of romantic suspense that I like.

I do think the ending was too abrupt; I swiped a page only to realize that the book was over (after a final chapter that serves as a teaser or Spencer's story). I'm not entirely sure how much progress the team made toward resolving the mystery surrounding Nick's death, and I did feel slightly cheated. However, I'm definitely interested in reading the last two books in the series, so maybe this book did it's job.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

This is a quick, action filled, SEAL book. I love the characters, seem a little more "real" than other SEAL books I've read.
SEAL Team 10 is trying to find out who was behind the sniper that took out one of their own. Scotty and his team will stop at nothing to clear their own names and get revenge. Simultaneously, Hayley, an FBI Cybercrime officer, has stumbled upon information in her research that doesn't add up about SEAL Team 10's fallen comrade and his wife. When they join forces, things get widely out of hand, but are they closer to finding the answers they need?
The plot has it all - action, mystery, romance, and a lot of SEALS! Great read.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this eARC.

I thought this was a great addition to the authors Seal Team 10 series and the book had the right amount of suspense, intrigue and romance in it. Scotty and his Seal team mates are still trying to find out who was behind their friends death and why. He meets Hayley an FBI agent, whose instinct tells her there is more to the death she is investigating and she works alongside him to find the truth. This is again a well written short story that hit the mark with me. It flowed very smoothly and was a very good read. The two main characters are very believable and likeable chasing all leads as they search for answers. The book grabbed my attention from the first page and held it all the way through. There are still ongoing threads that I hope will be resolved in the next two books, Overall a good read, and one I’d recommend if you like military, mystery books with a bit of romance added.

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
