I'm Following You is a fast-paced psychological thriller. The story is told with alternating characters Collette and Amanda.

Collette's sister was killed by a drunk driver after leaving her house. Collette is struggling with the death of her sister until the drunk driver was also reported deceased after a suspected suicide. However, Collette does not believe she is actually dead, believing that she actually is in hiding. She is so sure of her conclusion; she goes out looking for her with a friend from her therapy group. They search local bars until Collette "finds" her. She researches the internet for anything she can discover that can prove that she is right. Collette begins to follow her. She obsesses about Amanda and decides to make her "pay" for killing her sister.

Amanda is a highly respected oncologist. One day she realizes that she is being stalked by someone in a red car. But that is the least of her problems as someone files a complaint against her at work. It appears that someone is out to sabotage her, but she has no idea who and why someone would target her.

The main characters of this book are hardly likeable in my opinion. I couldn't find a reason to feel sorry for either of them in spite of their losses. However, this is a good story of twisted obsession, denial and loss. there was a SHOCKING surprise at the end that I did not see coming which made the story even better.

Loved this one. A bit slow at times but a somewhat different storyline from what one finds these days

Collette is devastated by her sister's death by accident and somehow she thinks the person responsible for that is not punished. She begins on a mission to bring the killer to justice, not knowing that the one she is following has someone else following her too,

Thank you Netgalley and Inkubator books for the ARC

I really enjoyed this book. When a young womens sister is killed by a drunk drive when she later finds out that this same person is dead she thinks that is the end of it. That is until one day she thinks she spots the person in question. She starts to follow this lady and soon reveals that she isn't dead but very much alive. Bent on getting justice for her sister she will stop at nothing to get to the truth.
I really enjoyed this book. There was plenty of action to keep you wanting to read on.

Ugh. The premise sounded so good but I couldn’t get into to the story at all. I didn’t like the writing style and couldn’t connect with the characters. It was disappointing to dnf this book at 57%.

The book follows Amanda a respectful doctor who is facing a danger unlike anything she has encounter before, someone is following her and they are determined to make her afraid of everything.

As thrillers goes it could definitely be better because the twist was obvious from a mile away and some things really didn't make any sense. We see both the POVs of Amanda and her stalker which was interesting but some things were repeated many times which made it tiring to follow along.

* I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

DNF- unfortunately I struggled to connect with the writing and the chapters and as a result was bored. It was a mixture of me and the book that caused me to DNF- but you can’t gel with every book. If you are a big adult mystery or thriller reader this is for you

I can’t believe I’d never heard of this author before reading I’m Following You! This story had me hooked from the very first chapter. The twist at the end was totally unexpected! My only complaint is that I honestly wish it was longer so I could get more POV after the big twist! Overall, I highly recommend this book!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for allowing me to read this ARC!

I knew beforehand this would be good! It is Emily Shiner so that is a given. The book started out tame. I thought I knew what was going to happen. I was really wrong! It was a good story with plenty of twists. I did not see the ending turning out the way it did! I would give this one more than 5 stars if I could! It is a must-read!

Thanks to NetGalley, Inkubator Books and Emily Shiner for the opportunity to read an advance copy of I’M FOLLOWING YOU, to be published 11 December 2022. This was a mystery book in which the heroine processed her anger and grief over the untimely death of her sister and sought to get revenge on an unsuspecting soul whom she was convinced killed her sister in an auto accident. The delusion was encouraged by a person she met in a Grief Psychotherapy Group who had lost his wife to cancer. There is eventually a murder, but the victim is not the one who is expected.. The novel started out pretty tamely but ended with a bang.

Unfortunately this was highly predictable and not the suspenseful thriller I was hoping for. It’s definitely psychological- not too gruesome— so good for thriller readers who prefer less gore.

I'm Following You by Emily Shiner is a fast paced psychological thriller that I read very quickly. It grabbed me from the very first page and I didn't want to put it down. Collette's sister was killed by a drunk driver and Amanda is determined to get revenge in the worst way, but the driver was killed herself. Or was she? She obsesses and does everything in her power to make the person "pay" for killing her sister. The twist at the end came out of nowhere and it was a good one! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release in exchange for my honest review. To be published December 2022.

Received a copy as a NetGalley reviewer - many thanks

I really enjoyed this book. I read it very quickly as it was a real page-turner. Every time I thought that I had worked out the plot, another turn in the road happened, which was fabulous.
I never expected the ending, I thought this was really ingenious by the author.

This was great! I love a quick psychological thriller that makes you question everything. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the ending to unveil itself. It did deal with some difficult topics that I wasn't quite expecting, so I would recommend looking into trigger warnings. But regardless, I really enjoyed this!

What happens when someone is so hell bent on revenge they will do anything to get it?…..Amanda is about to find out….a respected Oncologist she notices a red car that seems to be following her and even though she tries to shake it off, mentally and physically she is beginning to get scared…..as well she might be as horror is about to visit her and there is nothing she can do
A taut psychological thriller, not always perfect in plot but different enough to carry it off and to keep the reader engaged,I wasn’t keen on any character but that just enhanced the story
Deals with adult and child loss as part of the story
First time reading this author and I would definitely read more

I'm Following You
by Emily Shiner
A fast-paced psychological thriller. When Colette’s sister is killed by a drunk driver, she sets out to get revenge on the person who did this. The only problem is that the person who did this is dead. Or is she? Well, hells bells did this book pull me in? Sure did. It was a wild ride and a good read.

"I'm Following You" by Emily Shiner should be termed psychological warfare because of how gripping and intense this novel is. From the start, I was hooked, and I will admit that I devoured this novel in one day. This is a tale of how revenge is usually always warranted, but it should not always be sought out for. From a standpoint as I am a Registered Nurse, I am glad the scenes in the novel involving medical situations was very accurate and could happen in the real world. This novel kept me guessing till the end. I find myself always trying to guess what is going to happen, and I am delighted when I turn out to be way off in my guessing. With this novel, I was thoroughly surprised. I also really enjoyed the short chapters in this novel. Thanks so much to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me to read this and give feedback! I would be delighted to read more of Emily Shiner's work. I give this 4.5 stars!
