One of my favourite authors!! And this story is set to be unbelievably good. It’s funny and heartwarming and you honestly can’t get much better than that. Can’t wait to have this in physical copy!!!
I was only granted the first few chapters of this book, so I'm not sure what rating to give. However, what I am sure of, is that I want to continue reading the story when it comes out in April. So for that reason, I will give this 4 stars.
Read on February 2nd. Written on February 3rd, 2023.
Note: I did not read the full book, I was only allowed the first two chapters.
~2.5~
I truly believe this is going to be one hell of a book just from reading the synopsis and the first two chapters. Funny characters, a strong plot and what seems like a very interesting romantic relationship to explore.
Very happy I got the opportunity to read this and I cannot wait to get my hands on the whole thing! Expect a LOT of good things!
(Free ARC Excerpt from NetGalley and Penguin General UK - Fig Tree, Hamish Hamilton, Viking, Penguin Life, Penguin Business, Penguin that I chose to review after reading)
I am so excited for this book to be released, the few chapters I’ve read so far have been absolutely amazing. I have loved everyone of Emily Henry’s books so far and I am so glad she continues to share her stories with us. Happy Place follows Harriet and Wyn as they navigate a trip to Maine with their friends who don’t know that they have actually broken up! I cannot wait to read the rest of this exes to lovers/second chance romance. Emily, please keep breaking my heart and putting it back together again!
Lovely sneak peek! I cannot wait to read Happy Place when in comes out in April. It will be the perfect summer read.
This was only an excerpt containing 3 chapters but I am hooked and DYiNG for the rest of Happy Place!
OMG I only got the chance to read an extract of Happy Place and I already feel like the luckiest girl in the world! Can't wait for the book to be published!
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an extract of this book.
That was a DNF for me, thankful that this wasn't the book and just a page of it. I really am waiting for Happy Place to be released so I can read it.
Unfortunately I could only receive an excerpt of the book. However, I must say that, as the other Emily Henry Books, it was enough to know I'm going to love it.
What a promising and intriguing start of the story! I'm absolutely besotted: found family and second chance tropes are my favorite ones, and the setting is so beautifully conveyed. I can hardly wait until the book is released!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the extract of the book!
I absolutely LOVED this excerpt, I really would have preferred to receive the entire book but this is a good sneaking peek to a book all the work is waiting for.
I think this book will be the best of Emily Henry’s, you could already see in this first pages that the writing style has improved. I can’t wait to read the whole book!
Thank you Netgalley and the Penguin UK for sending me this excerpt in exchange of an honest review.
Hmm mustery mystery... I have just read a sample chapter but I'm intrigued. I usually don't read the sinopsis of Emily Henry's books, I just let them take me where ever they want to.
This group of girls are so different one from another but they are so close nontheless. I suspect that something has happened between Harriet and her fiancébut her friends aren't aware of it yet... Let's see If having him there will make Harriet's Happy Place more or less happy.
