The Leaping Hare Wellness Almanac; Your Yearlong Guide to Creating Positive Spiritual Habits was a lovely book that I really needed to read when I did. I was truly thankful to have gotten to read this before most people! I would like to purchase this one for my physical library!
Beautifully designed, lovingly crafted and filled with mindful affirmations, activities and insights, this gorgeous book will help you embrace the seasons, be empowered by rituals and create positive spiritual habits all year long.
This is a good book and has a little something for the whole year. It was my first time reading a book like this and I enjoyed it.
Loved it, cool book with ideas for habits you can do year long, and revisit in each beginning month.
A beautiful book that would make the perfect gift for someone in the northern hemisphere. Would love a Southern Hemisphere edition please!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- Lovely cover on this one!
The Leaping Hare Wellness Almanac was honestly a pleasure to review. The graphics were beautiful and calming. The book is well laid out with each month broken down into "reflection, movement, gratitude, nature, journaling, rituals, craft, recipe, meditation, affirmations, visualisation, stargazing...and more.." There are plenty of activities (yoga poses, nature walks, breathing exercises, journaling prompts, recipes, crafts etc.) that help keep you engaged throughout the months. This would honestly make such a lovely gift! 👍🏻👍🏻

I was attracted to the cover and title and found the activities within to be insightful. The guide was easy to follow and flowed nicely throughout the book. This is really nice to look at and have on hand for moments of mindfulness.
This Wellness Almanac is presented as a year-long guide to create positive spiritual habits. The book is beautifully illustrated and broken into seasons, presenting a number of ways within each season and then in turn by month to embrace or explore practices for living more mindfully.
The practices are taken from numerous Leaping Hare books, including the mindfulness series, of which I have read many and love. Within this almanac however the mixture felt a bit confused to me. There were pages on knitting, stargazing, yoga, gardening, making hot chocolate, bird seed bombs, sewing for example.
I think as a wellness almanac I was anticipating a book that had a different flow and perhaps one that was easier to embrace one day or week at a time. Whilst this was lovely to dip in and out of it is not a book I would chose to utilise as a wellness guide as the themes were so divergent and not necessarily practice I would embrace as a new spiritual practice.
Thank you Leaping Hare Press and NetGalley do this ARC in return for my honest review.
I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher.
This almanac is divided by the months with each month having information/sections on mindful insight, positive action or exercise, crafting, connecting to nature, and self-love. In the different sections, there are various prompts to meditate on, journal on, or act on. The book also includes many recipes. The pace of the book is meant to be slow and easy so that you can slowly build habits. There are no specific dates, just time ranges so there is no feeling of pressure. The different activities are easy to do and build on. This also feels like a book that you can reuse year after year.
I liked this book so much that I plan on purchasing a physical copy.
Yoga, meditation... there is something for everyone in this book. I really enjoyed reading it. I thought it flowed well and had a lot to offer with valuable insight.
It's a something for everyone kind of book, for each month it gives you little activities to try and bits of information (which are really good) so you can explore everything and see what you like. I really enjoyed the mini playlist for each season and the little snippets of yoga to try.
This is a gorgeous compendium of wellness info. I loved reading through it and relishing each page! Lots to take away within its pages and to return to throughout the year. Thank you for the ARC!
I received an electronic copy though NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is a compendium of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, crafts, journaling, communing with nature, and much more. The various exercises are broken down into seasons and months, but you could easily just open the book up randomly each day and find something creative, useful, and stimulating (or relaxing) to do!
This is going on my list of books to buy as gifts for others!
Wonderful. The illustrations in this book are absolutely beautiful. So complementary to the text and tone. There's a really wonderful feeling of calm and ease in this book.
Stargazing, meditation, gratitude, playlists.. this book is everything. I love it. I need to find a copy for my home. Absolutely gorgeous ✨

this is a book you just read through the year and pick whenever you want to meditate to connect with yourself or with the nature.
It is full of self help and yoga poses and sequencing.
I loved especially the illustrations of this book.
This is the type of book I would buy just to keep in my library and come back from time to time just to admire the pictures, to read motivational sentences or do different crafts.
Thank you Quarto Publishing Group-Leaping Hare and Netgalley for the ARC
This is one the best books i have read this year. Beautiful illustrations and such simple language to understand and follow.
This is a must buy
Fantastic book, so helpful, I loved the way in which it was written and laid out.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
The Leaping Hare Wellness Almanac seems like the perfect guide for beginners or anyone curious about the idea of “wellness”. This almanac is designed to follow the changing months and seasons. Within each months there are prompts on different wellness topics such as reflection, journaling, gratitude, different ideas for movements, crafts, and even wholesome recipes. The beginning of each season starts with a recommended playlist and affirmations to really align oneself with the new season. There’s a brief description at the beginning of the book on who someone can use it, but I think the most important point is that there is no wrong way to use it.
The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and show an amazing diversity of female characters.
My only issue with this is that I wish there were enough prompts for each day of the month. That way someone could truly read something new every day for a whole year. Pretty much every month has 13 prompts so I suppose one for every other day, but that’s really my only issue.
A Beautiful Journal
This is a very nicely designed book. It is outlined by the months in the year, and during each the author discusses the following topics:
1. Mindful insight for inner understanding,
2. Positive action,
3. Handwork,
4. A nature-connection, and
5. Self-love.
There are some delicious recipes, and there are some projects, such as making air drying clay, exercises, there are others areas discussed.
I truly love the various items discussed for each month on various subjects. This guide is something that can be used as a monthly guide on your journey of self development. I highly recommend it for anyone desiring to practice self love.
Trying to read this on a kindle does it no justice at all. I would like a physical copy to appreciate it more. The pages are beautifully illustrated and there is something for everyday wellbeing.
