In a world where attention spans are shorter than a squirrel's memory, Steve Multer's book provides a beacon of wisdom. With the precision of a surgeon and the heart of a poet, Multer dissects the art of corporate storytelling, revealing its beating core.
Key Insights:
Beyond the Pitch:
Multer defies the mundane sales pitch and invites us into a realm where stories reign supreme. He reminds us that people don't want to be sold to; they crave connection. Through storytelling, we transform from mere vendors to trusted companions.
The Power of Heartfelt Communication:
This book isn't about gimmicks or slick techniques. It's about authenticity. Multer shares strategies to infuse our messages with genuine passion, making them resonate with audiences on a visceral level. Whether you're addressing a boardroom or a virtual audience, heartfelt communication is your secret weapon.
From Fear to Confidence:
Fear of public speaking? Multer dismantles it brick by brick. He provides a blueprint for structuring talks, ensuring clarity, and delivering undeniable value. Suddenly, the spotlight feels less intimidating, and the audience becomes your ally.
Salesmanship with Soul:
Multer's insights extend beyond the stage. He guides us through crafting compelling sales plans, leaving no room for goodbyes—only hellos to future connections. It's not about closing deals; it's about opening doors.
The Legacy of a Talk:
A great talk lingers like a haunting melody. Multer teaches us how to ensure our words echo long after the applause fades. Your story becomes part of the collective memory, shaping perceptions and driving action.
This book isn't just for corporate warriors; it's for anyone who communicates. Whether you're a CEO, a marketer, or a barista with dreams of storytelling greatness, Multer's insights will elevate your game. So grab a copy, find a cozy spot, and let the stories unfold.
I was hoping this book would be focussing more on the entire sales process. For my taste there were too many details about how to present PowerPoint slides a lot of which were pretty obvious. Didn't enjoy it or glean enough new information from it as I was hoping I would.
Love this book. Sparks up your marketing knowledge. Great tips, tricks and examples. Would definitely recommend it or give as a gift.
A book everyone who is in the business of selling anything, literally anything, should read.
It does not hand out one-size-fits-all recipes on how to win at marketing. But it does tell lots of examples and gives lots of compelling arguments why things should be done a certain way.
I wish I read this book earlier. Like, 10 years ago. Then again, I am glad I was able to read it now! As a small business/handmade business owner, I never thought there is even a way for me to tell a story. A one-woman show, where I do everything myself – what story is there to tell, you know? Like, look at me, isn’t that enough? Turns out, it isn’t. I never really understood what this storytelling is. I was sure it has something to do with making up a beautiful half-truth and pushing it everywhere, and no, that’s not me. Oh, how wrong I was! This book finally makes sense.
If marketing books tend to promise “secrets”, yet never deliver, this does not promise anything, but it does deliver.
Straightforward and a true pleasure to read, NOTHING GETS SOLD UNTIL THE STORY GETS TOLD is powerful, convincing, and motivating counsel from master storyteller Steve Multer. The points Multer makes are so well-depicted through his stories that I often forgot I was learning excellent skills from a consummate master. What's more, I have already put many of the principles into immediate action--and enjoyed wonderful results with closer connections and deeper conversations. I received a copy of this book and these opinions are my own, unbiased thoughts.
Stories are everywhere. Nothing happens without a good story especially if you want to have somebody's attention. This book provides very good instructions on delivering engaging presentations. The advice can be well suited in public speaking and in corporate environment. If a presenter wants to be different and memorable there are certain tricks to follow. This book is a good guide with a great structure. If you are new to speaking, starting with this book can be a great help.

I wish this book was available three years ago when I was so ignorant about marketing and that too value driven marketing!
I love this book wholeheartedly and this book holds so many “secrets” that I think many do not want others to know.
The book has seventeen short amazing information filled chapters with an extra short chapter towards the end. Each chapter holds so much value and you will know why when you read this book.
For the genuine entrepreneurs and anyone who’s main priority is marketing who wants to work smart and build the basics with the best available guide, you can go for this book without thinking twice.
