This is a good book. The two main characters are Brie and Jonno. They meet at a party. They had a one night stand. Two months later Brie was trying to get in touch with Jonno to tell him she was pregnant. She never saw him again till seven years later. She had become a paramedic and it was her first day on the job. There was still an attraction. They each had some issues but together they worked them out and fell in love.

This is a Medical Second Chance Romance, and this is the first book in the Morgan Family Medics. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters in this book. I also enjoyed getting to see both feelings and sides of this story. I could feel the emotions of both of the main characters which I loved. The storyline was great and done really well. I also really enjoyed the medical parts of this book. The ending was sweet and everything I wanted. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Medical Romance) or author (Alison Roberts) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. This is the 1st book in the “Morgan Family Medics Series”. Jonno and Brie are paramedics. Brie and Jonno had a sizzling one-night stand 6 years ago. Jonno left with no words. Brie and Jonno have a child name Felix together that Jonno does know nothing about. Felix has spina bifida a medical condition. Brie tried with no results to locate Jonno. 6 years has passed and Jonno and Brie’s paths cross again. When Jonno learns that he has fathered a son Felix he is not to happy that he knew nothing about having a son. He is upset but when he learns of his son Felix’s disability he jumps right in and helps Brie out. These two are great together and I so loved how Jonno stepped up to the plate for Felix and Brie. The chemistry and attraction is awesome between Jonno and Brie.

Brie's first day as an EMT has her running into Jonno who she slept with and then he disappeared. She had his son who had major medical issues. She tried to get ahold of him, but was unsuccessul. He was not happy at first when he found out about Felix but once the shock wore off, he was happy. He really came through for Brie when Felix sufferred a major setback and it was sweet how Felix felt about him

Secret Son is a very well written romance. I throughly enjoyed the plot and character development. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my advance ebook. This is my unbiased review.

This is book about realizing what is really important in life. Premise: Girl has baby, years later boy comes back into picture, and discovers he is a father. This book deals with disabilities, family relations, expectation of dreams. I did enjoyed this book. I stirred many emotions and was a good read. I recommend this book and author. I will be looking forward to see what other books she has to read.

I liked Brie and Jonno's story. Felix was the star tho. His love of all things made being handicapped secondary. Second chances do happen if you can open your heart
