I think this is the funniest book I’ve ever read. Hands down. Not only was I learning a lot of cool facts, I was laughing my “butt” off with each revelation!

This was a really fun read for me and my toddler. We got to learn a little about each of the animals in the book and enjoyed guessing whether the photo was a butt or a face together. Such a fun book to add to your shelves especially if your child loves animals.

I absolutely loved this book! It is filled with humor, fascinating facts, fantastic photos and just enough 'butt' humor to keep young kids engaged. I cannot wait to buy this for our library's non-fiction section. It will be very popular!

The author is so clever to use the butt or face game to teach animal facts. The pictures and text are bright and the googley eye end paper is another amazing touch!

This book is an absolute winner! I’ll have to buy multiple copies for my school library because it is always going to be out on loan, not to mention that it is perfect for sharing with every class who comes through the library. The photos are amazing and the little snippets of information are perfect for sharing. Best kid’s nonfiction book ever!

I laughed so hard at the cover of this book, I had to read it! And it is surprisingly harder than you would imagine. I only knew two of the animals immediately and was stumped more times than not. There are some funny animals out there! My 6 year old son is going to love this one when it comes out.

I liked the interactive aspect of this book, but had issues with the formatting on Kindle. I'm sure in printed book form it will be engaging for children. My seven year old loved it. Animal-loving kids, or kids that love gross out humor will equally enjoy this one.

This was such a neat book. The kids will be with just the title!! It was actually pretty challenging to guess each correctly and after learning the correct answer it was nice to learn a little about each animal. There is also a map in the back showing the homes of each animal and a table with more information about each. This will be a fantastic way to talk about new animals with kids - they love anything butt or underwear related - but they learn something while being entertained as well.

I am super excited about adding this to our book collection this summer. It is one of those nonfiction books that will capture the interest of your most reluctant reader, the one who is enticed simply because the title includes the word butt. Yet, once hooked, they will learn about creatures they never saw before, while studying animal traits like camouflage and habitats. Highly recommend.

This was great—an educational yet fun read! I could see this being really engaging for kids (it was for me at least) as they have to make guesses and see if they're right. Each answer page includes a few tidbits of information, which is where the educational component comes in. This would be a fun one to read aloud.

Oh, what a hilarious nonfiction work this is! This book is packed with information about a variety of animals... some that might look a bit strange! The information is presented in such a fun way, that it's guaranteed to entertain kids and adults, too. I really enjoy encouraging younger children to read more nonfiction. This is a great title to get them hooked!

Butt of Face? is a hilarious and clever book…and I read it as an adult for the purpose of review! It would be such a fun book to read with your favorite kiddo(s).
The pictures are colorful and appealing. Most of my guesses were incorrect, which gave me a good laugh. The truth behind each butt or face is revealed, with an engaging description of each animal. My favorite part was the author’s description of her inspiration for this book- so cute!
Although this book presented beautifully in the NetGalley app, it did not translate to Kindle (images were jumbled and unclear). Hopefully this will be corrected in the final edition.
I’m really looking forward to showcasing this at the library. It’s widely appealing, and I can’t wait to hear the giggles.

This a silly book where there is a close up picture and it asks butt or face, you guess which you think it is (great to get kiddos involved on which they think it is and why) then you turn the page and it tells you which it was. There are facts about the animal. Throughout the book there are multiple silly puns. It's great for a range of ages, my 1 year old enjoyed the pictures and my 11 year old found the facts interesting and enjoyed guessing what each picture was.

Butt or Face is a fantastic, humorous book for kids who are animal lovers. The book shows a close up picture and asks is this an animal’s butt or its face, and then the following page has a picture of the full animal along with some interesting facts about it.

My 6 and 8 year olds found this book to be so much fun to read together, and we had a blast giggling at the pictures and guessing if it was a butt or a face. The final picture in particular almost had us in tears from laughing so hard! We learned about new animals and have several new fun facts to share with friends.

This is a very entertaining book for kids interested in animals. Aside from the giggles about saying the word butt, readers will learn about unusual animals and how their odd features are useful for their survival.

This is quite a cheeky book (see what I did there). Very humorous but also very informative. Each set of pages has a zoomed in picture of a part of an animal...you just have to guess if it's the butt or the face. When the animal is revealed (as well as what end you're looking at), it shares information about the animal including its location and actual photos of the animals. There is a trick question at the end! The back of the book has a map of all the locations of the animals in the book as well as the food they eat. Full of cheeky humor, puns, and 'dad jokes', I see this is a wonderful addition to the classroom.

This goofy book is hilarious! I love the game spelled out here: is this an animal’s butt or face? I bet 4-7 year olds would get a kick out of this book. I love the layout of the book, with the pictures and blurbs about the animals mixed up to draw excitement.
As a performer, I could imagine how I could read this out loud of a group of kids for a library story hour. This would be an excellent read to adventurous, goofy kids.
