This is a great collection of simple recipes for an anti-inflammatory diet. There was a small section at the beginning talking about the theories behind it and why certain foods help, which I appreciated and would have liked even more of. I know this is billed as a cookbook, but for me it's very helpful to have a more general knowledge of the reasoning behind doing certain things so I can apply to it to general life rather than just blindly following the recipes.

That said, the recipes in this book are great. I've followed other anti-inflammatory diets and the recipes were pretty boring, so I was happy to have some new ones to add into the rotation! They're well-laid out with photos, easy to follow, and have very clear allergen information. I've made several already and enjoyed them!

Thank you Quarto Publishing Group and NetGalley for the ARC!

This is a very simple cookbook. But I did enjoy the photographs! The pictograms at the top of each recipe made it easy to tell if a recipe was dairy free, gluten free, etc. With the amount of allergies my friends have these days this was a very handy way of telling which was what. I really liked this cookbook but would love them to get a designer to format it to be more appealing. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book!

The Easy Anti-Inflammatory Cookbook is a wonderful collection of easy-to-make recipes with simple ingredients. There are foods that are scientifically proven to reduce inflammation naturally. The introduction and special chapter explains the basic inflammation diet and ingredients. It also includes education about what foods cause inflammation..

The recipes are organized by category from breakfast, snacks, grains, seafood, poultry, beef, meatless and beverages. All come with ingredients list and instructions. There are also pro tips and awesome pictures. Each recipe has the benefits identified, so you know if it is gluten free, dairy free, etc.

In the month of December, it's time to start thinking about putting down the gingerbread and picking up better eating habits. This cookbook is my DREAM. I always wanted to eat better, but was never sure how. I don't love "low fat" "fake sugar" substitute kind of diets. So a cookbook full of fresh healthy fruits and vegetables with real ingredients is exactly what I needed!! I loved my first meal and I can't wait to try them all!

I can't wait to get to the store so I can get started on some of these recipes! I have an autoimmune disorder, and healthy eating definitely affects how I feel. This book is super helpful and easy to follow.

Other than a few random allergies (avocado and trout, for instance) our family eats fairly normally (whatever that means). Just because we’re not gluten-free, or sugar-free, or whatever, doesn’t mean we don’t love a beautiful cookbook, filled with healthy recipes.
This book delivers on both. The pictures are so bright and enticing, and my family has really responded to the recipes.
The Creamy Penne Arrabiata was a huge hit, among others, and the Very Berry Smoothie I made for breakfast this morning? SO SATISFYING.
I can’t wait to work my way through this whole, lovely book.

A pretty cookbook with good information about the anti-inflammatory diet. The cookbook begins with information around inflammation and how to reduce it. Then it leads into a chapter around breakfast recipes. As someone with Hashimotis, breakfast is an area where I find it challenging to eat anti-inflammatory foods so I was glad to see this section included. Anti-inflammatory eating can be difficult due to the amount of things that need to be eliminated or reduced and this cookbook seems to suffer the typical challenge of making recipes that aren't too difficult while maintaining anti-inflammatory eating. To me, it doesn't completely hit the mark of "easy" cooking but certainly does better than some cookbooks out there. It wins on having each recipe labeled with things such as Gluten/dairy/etc-free and vegan which is helpful if prioritizing what you're reducing at a glance. It also kindly gives temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. I also appreciate that it includes serving sizes for each recipe, pro-tips throughout the book, and recipes that can be cooked in an instant pot or slow-cooker. Overall this cookbook seems like a good resource for those trying to eat healthier and lower inflammation.

This book is a great reference cook book for anyone struggling with or cooking for someone with inflammatory issues. A lot of close friends and family of mine struggle with inflammation and this book has been super insightful and educational. Along with delicious recipes it also has a very good introduction and lists key ingredients and cooking essentials. The book is very clean, minimalistic and has beautiful photographs.

Thank you Quarto Publishing and NetGalley for the advanced electronic review copy of this wonderful book. I would definitely try some of the recipes I discovered in this great book and would get myself a copy when it’s published at the end of December.

I wanted to read The Easy Anti-Inflammatory Cookbook: Simple Recipes that Heal and Support Immune Health by Molly Thompson because I've had some back issues and inflammation and thought what a great way to be introduced to recipes that may help. The information in the book was helpful, especially the front matter that introduces the reader to understanding inflammation and the list of foods that help reduce inflammation. I will see how these recipes and the food list will help with my inflammation, but at least this gives me a start on the right track.

Sometimes the number of ingredients kind of turned me off from the recipe. Some items are quite expensive for only using a teaspoon or so. The recipes I did try turned out pretty well. I tried the creamy penne arrabbiata. It was easy and tasty.

The other recipe was the zucchini boats, which were good and simple to create. You can also use various ingredients as substitutes, which I liked. I also liked the slow cooker recipes.

A go-to recipe that I will have over and over is the everything bagel chicken salad. It was easy, and I got pre-shredded chicken from the store, so that was also simple.

I would recommend this book. There are several more recipes I am going to try, but the ones I did try were tasty and simple, and you can use various substitutes to create your own dish.

Very well done. This is a cookbook, so I didn't read every word. But the recipes look great, the photography and presentation is excellent and mouth-watering, and the info about inflammation is probably too brief, but helpful. Recommended.

I really appreciate the free ARC for review!!

This was really good!

I loved how personal the motif of the book was, as the author changed her way of eating and, essentially, her lifestyle to fight her PCOS. As someone who also suffers from that condition and also has two autoimmune diseases, I know how important addeering to an anti-inflammatory diet was/is to my recovery, so when I saw this book I knew I needed to read it.

I loved the way in which all of the recipes were so clearly labeled (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan...) and also how inclusive they were for all of the different lifestyles out there. The photos were beautiful and everything looked really delicious. However, my favourite part was the very introduction, because I could see I lot of my own story in what the author was sharing.

The effects of inflammation on our health is something I’m interested in and having suffered from psoriasis since a teenager I know personally how some foods can make it flare up, so I was hoping this book would shed more light on the subject .

I learned a lot from the book . The list of inflammatory foods was very insightful and the recipes look easy to follow with beautiful pictures of the finished results .

I will definitely have a go at some of the recipes and the book has made me think more about the foods I am eating .

“Inflammatory reactions can have a debilitating effect on your daily life. Over time, inflammation can harm your organ functions, your energy levels, and your cognitive abilities—but most inflammation can be healed. Anti-Inflammatory Recipes for Beginners, adapted from Molly Thompson’s The Anti-Inflammatory Diet Made Simple, is a collection of easy-to-make recipes with simple ingredients based on foods that are scientifically proven to reduce inflammation naturally.”

As someone who loves a tricksy eater, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful cookbooks that fit our rather particular bill.

Even though we’re grain-free, this cookbook, from Molly Thompson does a great job, accommodating most of our needs.

The food photography was stunning. Everything looks delicious, and I love knowing what the meals SHOULD look like.

The recipes themselves were fresh, diverse, and delicious. I particularly liked the Street Corn Salad, the Spicy Chicken Thai-Inspired Lettuce Wraps, and the Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes.

A few things I think would make this tome even better:

A fully fleshed out Table of Contents, with recipe titles. Headings such as Breakfast, Beef and Beverages, aren’t quite enough for me. I’d love them all at a glance.

A fully fleshed out DESSERT SECTION. C’mon, Molly. The Blender Muffins were delicious, but GIMME MORE.

Recipes for all ingredients. I get wanting to use a jar of enchilada sauce, but I’d also like a recipe.

All in all, this beautiful book would be helpful for anyone wanting to add colour, taste, and variety to their weird and wonderful protocols.

7.5/10

Thanks to NetGalley and Quatro Publishing Group for this tasty ARC.

THE EASY ANTI-INFLAMMATORY COOKBOOK: Simple Recipes that Heal and Support Immune Health. is a recipe and information book aimed at anyone wanting to eat healthier and reduce inflammation inducing ingredients. There is basic information on what inflammation is and the damage it can do, then recipe chapters. There are pictures for some recipes and for me it would have been so much better if there were pictures for them all. I don't think they are easy as the title suggests as some have loads of ingredients and some things that are not easily available such as coconut aminos. I think the idea is really good but some of the recipes could be more simple. Overall a good book but you would need additional recipes and books to really support an anti-inflammatory diet.
