For first time founders, I appreciate that this book does not tell you how awesome and successful you will be but rather offers personal stories of situations you may encounter that may demoralize you and how to deal with them.
I found this very realistic and practical because it paves the way for knowing how far you are willing to go.
Thanks Netgalley for this eARC.
Really good book that describes first founder journey. If you ever were one, you can definitely understand how personal this journey is no matter your first venture was a success or a fail. It take courage, motivation and inner power to start and run your business. This book will walk you through the journey of the author and in my eyes it is a personal and very interesting, educational one.
This one at first took a while to get fully embrace. It doesn’t employ the usual formula of success stories that many of the business books love to provide. Instead it focuses more on the difficulties a founder may encounter and how to manage those situations. When the story takes a more personal approach and highlights everything the author endured was when I began to connect with the book. I loved the suggestions the author provides on how to stay motivated and his own personal experiences and shortcomings with his own company. I also liked how he encourages working hard but taking time away to unwind and find ideas and inspiration from other avenues. These tips are what set the book apart from others and make it truly shine.
Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC
