Very very cute and easy to follow! Perfect gift for kids that love drawing or even adults like myself that loves these cute doodles. I’ve practicing and trying to draw them all. There are cute little foods, objects, plants and more. It’s a step-by-step book with pictures. Awesome! I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

Honest review from my 9 year old daughter.
Drawing is one of my favorite hobbies, so I really enjoyed this book. I liked the step by step directions of learning how to draw in a different, cute way. I really liked the mash up drawings at the end too.
A darling drawing book that is organized well with plenty of items to choose from! There are a few tips and tricks about where to place the eyes, keeping things symmetrical etc, that are helpful. The art sections are: food and drink, natural world, delightful doodads, holidays and mashups.
The pages show a step by step with line drawings of how to draw each item along with a short explanation of what you're drawing like a "wide u shape with a curve for the base and the sides slightly extended out." Nice to have extra details for when you want more explanation! The final item is digitally colored in. They are simple enough for kids to copy and draw and also fun for adults. The colored example is a nice one to go off of for choosing the colors you want to use.
Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Rock Point for the advance e-copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I have been a fan of Jesi's art for years and have so many pins, magnets, stickers, art prints, and hand painted wood blocks from her because I love her art style so much. Every year for birthdays and Christmases I give Jesiiii art to friends and family and have spread the word about the quirky art for happy hearts!
For years I have wondered about her process and wished that I could learn to draw like her. And then Jesi announced she had written and illustrated Adorable Art Class. I love it. I love it so so much and can't wait to get copies for everyone I know!
Jesi has written such a great step by step guide to drawing her adorable art. I have never considered myself good at drawing, but with Jesi's help I have been able to draw! I'm so pleased with this! Jesi is really good at describing which lines to draw when and she truly makes it simple and easy to follow along. So many art books skip steps that come naturally to artists but not to everyone and Jesi doesn't do that. Almost every page has fantastic tips on how to decorate your drawings and every single one of them is helpful! I love that she even added practice areas in the back, including spaces to practice coloring and shading in her designs! I can't wait to get my hard copy of this so I can utilize that space!
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC ! Let’s star to say that I am really bad at drawing, but this step by step guide is easy to follow ! I gave a go to some of the drawing (loved the tacos and the bumble bee) and it was fairly easy to follow and compare with what you are doing. Still not Picasso but definitely managed to do something nice and cute. I would definitely recommend !

Adorable Art Class is a delightful drawing guide with tutorials by Jesi Rodgers and book five of the Cute & Cuddly Art series. Due out 10th Jan 2023 from Quarto on their Rock Point imprint, it's 160 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.
The text throughout is upbeat and positive and very fun. There are lots of confidence building exercises for all ages to get pencils moving. The individual tutorials are arranged thematically: food & drink, the natural world, delightful doodads (like an umbrella, book, teapot, etc), holidays and combinations/larger pictures. The introduction includes a good beginning tutorial with tips and tricks for getting started, choice of tools and supplies and other support for making progress. Tutorials are shown in step by step completion series with lines added over several drawing steps to make a final drawing. The author has included colored versions of each finished drawing for inspiration.
One of my favorite aspects of this book is the lessons on how to combine and build on simple elements to produce hybrid drawings with two of more elements (like a cat donut and a snail with a house on its back). There are practice pages at the end of the book which are provided develop techniques, but which would also a good tutorial for planning full page illustrations.
I've been using doodling as an awareness/mindfulness exercise and it really does work. These are cute and good fun. It would make a really fun rainy day activity for younger kids to adult age. They're appealing and whimsical and sweet.
Five stars
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
Super wonderful adorableness is found within these pages! Adults, as well as children can easily lose themselves trying out their own artwork by following this fantastic and easy guide.
Recommended!
This is a fun drawing how to book that shows the steps for drawing a variety of objects like mushrooms, plants, household objects, plants and animals. Most of them have faces, which I’m not really a fan of but is what’s popular right now. They’re easy to follow for kids or adults. It’s a sweet little book.
I read a self-destroying ARC via NetGalley for review.

This was so much fun to read and draw along with. The art style is so cute and the instructions are easy to follow. Great book for anyone, even someone like me who can’t draw well.
