This fun and classic book about the game would you rather is a perfect choice for anyone looking for something easter themed. it would be great for car rides/road trips for families leaving town for the easter weekend or as a non-sweet addition to a family's easter hunt. Giving kids opportunities to practice forming opinions and giving reasons, this book could be a great conversation starter, or an enjoyable read for kids to share. I would definitely recommend it. I have neglected to review this book for far too long. I was sent a copy by the publisher to review after having reviewed a similar book earlier. I love these kinds of things, where you get to talk about would you rather do this thing or that thing, and even though sometimes you can’t imagine doing either, your choices tell a lot about you, and having the discussions and laughing hysterically, and even arguing over why one person’s opinion is better than others makes the whole thing enjoyable. The fact that this is actually a game that you can play makes it even that much better.

I know we are all way too engaged in our social media and our technology, but I think this is the sort of thing that makes talking fun, and even for those people who don’t like to play games, it would be fun to do just as a conversation starter.

My family loves to do “dinner questions,” and my students love to play “take a stand,“ where I give them a “this or that” question, and they have to stand on one side of the room or the other, and then explain themselves. It’s funny when the kids start arguing over the merits of cats versus dogs as pets, or whether living in the city or the country is the better choice. They get so into trying to convince each other why they’re right. It’s a blast’ This book would be perfect for that type of thing.

It was a lot of fun, and I hope they just keep making more of these kinds of books. I think families, schools, and even college kids or our elders could have a blast with this.

I think this book can help parents engage with their children in a fun, stress-free way. There're several Easter activities for older kids. This would make a great Easter basket stuffer or a family fun game to pull out after Easter dinner.

Would You Rather? Easter Edition will provide hours of entertainment for everybody! My biggest complaint is that some of the questions become repetitive due to the Easter theme: chocolate, Easter Bunny, Easter baskets, and Easter egg hunt suggestions. Overall, this is a great family and friendly activity book.

Well this was a fun little book. We did not follow the rules or play it competitively. And I skipped a LOT of the questions some of them were about the Easter bunny and my kids don’t really care about the Easter bunny or they were not age appropriate (as in too little for my kids) , or they didn’t apply.
It did feel very repetitive. A lot of the questions were about the same types of things, chocolate, Easter bunny, Easter baskets, Easter egg hunt, etc. there are only so many questions you can ask about those topics before it feels repetitive. A lot of the time I left out the time specifics of the questions and just asked the core of the question.
Again fun to go through the questions and create conversation, but didn’t really like the idea of the game part. I certainly don’t think it was “laugh out loud fun” or “laugh until you cry” kind of a book/game.

Would You Rather? Easter Edition is another fun this or that book for children with an Easter theme, making it a fantastic gift idea for children to entertain them over Easter break and would make a fun family game book too. I did some of these with my ten year old and she loved them. We had quite a few giggles doing it too. The book itself is broken up into eight sections and even has a score keeper that you could fill in in pencil so you can erase it next time you play.

First let me start by saying I am a big fan of the Would You Rather series. My family also loves those Mad Libs books you can grab in the check out aisle at most grocery stores. This book says it's for ages 8-12 but my 4 year old gets a kick out of the choices given. We don't play the game and keep score, we just read each question and go around our group letting each person share if they'd rather A or B. I was lucky enough to nab a NetGalley copy of the Christmas Edition and then received an invitation to review the Easter Edition as well. I'll review any and all editions that the author releases and I'll continue to buy them for my family as well, the hope is to acquire all editions released and I hope there are many more to come over the years.

We were lucky to be chosen to preview the Christmas edition of Would You Rather? by Lindsey Daly and was so excited to be offered the Easter Edition! My children (4 & 8 year olds) absolutely adore answering the questions - prompts a lot of laughs and some great conversation. The book has rules to turn it into a game, but we just do a few questions around the dinner table for fun.

Oh how I LOVE Lindsey Daly Would You Rather Books!!! I am such a huge kid at heart and got such a kick out of her Easter Edition! I found myself laughing out loud hysterically at some of the questions. I was wishing my nieces and nephews were in town to play along! They would have had a blast playing it!

I absolutely loved the colorful basket of Easter Eggs on the front cover! It made you excited to see what Lindsey had in store for you.

With every book Lindsey writes up a cute little introduction to the book. In the introduction she describes in detail how to play the game. In between questions you will sometimes find cute little illustrations.

Would You Rather Easter Edition is a great book that will allow you and your family to spend good quality time together! You can open up the lines of communication and have some fun! It really is a must read book that will leave smiles on your faces!

Full of delightful would you rather's! My kids absolutely adore going through these! And they turn around and ask their friends these questions. The questions don't feel like they are reaching or anything, like some would you rather. It was a lot of fun to go through this with my kiddos!

The Would You Rather series continues with another installment guaranteed to trigger conversations, laughter, and hmmm moments. In this Easter edition, you can make it a game with your Easter gathering or come prepared to the gathering with conversation starters. As an adult, there are plenty of eye rolling topics and questions, but looking at it through the lens of a child, it is full of gaiety and laughter. I do love how little minds are challenged to choose and option and be able to back it up. Do not overthink any of these. Just show up, ask the questions, and have fun together.

I reviewed the Christmas Would You Rather and saw that there was an Easter edition to read. It is so much fun for the whole family. My kids loved asking each other questions. I really liked that the rules are included so you can play the game or just ask the questions to each other. It makes for some interesting discussions.

I would recommend this as a fun Easter basket filler.

This is a fun book to read. I answered questions myself and had fun thinking of the answers. I never thought I would answer these questions seriously because its a fun game for kids. The answers generated by kids would be interesting and the adults would be more funnier. I loved reading and answering questions myself. Its fun and its sometimes funny. Kids and adults would love to play this game no matter whart.

This is a fun and silly book that, as the title suggests, calls on you to decide whether you'd rather do one (often absurd!) thing or another, with a wonderful Easter theme. Have you ever wondered if you'd rather take a chocolate shower or swim in a pool of jellybeans? Or maybe if your kids would rather eat a chocolate covered carrot or a bag of carrot flavored jelly beans? Then this is the book for you and your family.

The layout of the book is clear, with questions divided into 8 sections broke up by various Easter themes, including things like traditions, candy, and the Easter Bunny. There is a way to keep score if you'd like that is explained at the beginning of the book, so there are 20 questions per section + 1 tiebreaker question in case 2 people may have the same score. However, my family felt is was just as fun to play without keeping score and to hear what may be going on in your family and friend's heads when they think about the questions.

I'd recommend this to families, especially those with kids between the ages of 4 and 12, and also to people who may plan to spend this Easter with their friends and want something that can keep everyone entertained during those lulls in conversation around the table.

Adorable spin on the would you rather game. We didn’t keep score but it explains how in the beginning of the book. A great book for the whole family. From 5-100 would get a kick out of this.

We absolutely love this series! This is something my family and I do anytime we are together. We love explaining our answers and laughing about our choices. We also take these to co op and family gatherings and spend so much time laughing and talking. It opens up a lot of interesting topics and we all learn more about each other. A great book to bring on trips, out to eat, family dinners or just anything we're conversation is being had
