I am absolutely enthralled by Terry Spear's latest installment in the Silvertown series, "Wolf on the Wild Side". This captivating tale had me hooked from the very beginning and refused to let go until the very end.

Kayla Wolff, the youngest of the quadruplet siblings who own a ski lodge near Silvertown, is a force to be reckoned with. Her unique birthday being the day after her siblings' adds a delightful touch to her character. As a marketing and promotions expert, she's always ready to take on new challenges. Her love life, however, is a different story. She's been dating Nate Grayson, a private investigator, for over a year, but they both struggle with commitment and time management issues.

Enter the perfect storm of events that throws their relationship into chaos. A missing person, a jewelry heist, and a bridezilla all converge to create a thrilling mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat. As Nate investigates the missing person and Kayla lends her skills to assist him, they begin to realize what's truly important in life. Their chemistry is undeniable, but can they overcome their fears and take that final step towards claiming each other as mates?

The suspense is palpable as they navigate accidents, attempted kidnappings, and discoveries that leave them questioning everything. The romance is sizzling, with just the right amount of push-pull to keep you guessing. And let's not forget the whodunit aspect - I was completely surprised by the twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end.

Nate is a lovable hero who will win your heart with his loyalty, strength, and determination. His character shines brightly throughout the story, and his chemistry with Kayla is undeniable.

As a fan of paranormal romance, I was thoroughly entertained by Terry Spear's unique take on werewolves and their world. The setting of a summer vacation at the ski lodge adds a fresh twist to the typical winter setting often found in this genre.

This is book 1 in the Run with the Wolf series, and if you have read any of this author's other books-then you will like this one. Two wolves are better than one, but a pack of wolves beats trouble any day. Ski Lodge owner and gray wolf Kayla Wolff hasn't had the best romantic history, so dating Private Investigator and fellow pack mate Nate Grayson feels like she's hit the jackpot. When she thinks about the way her last relationship ended, Kayla worries that she'll screw up again and lose Nate too. When Nate's latest investigation puts Kayla in the crosshairs, the pack comes together to help while Nate stays by her side day and night to protect the wolf he loves. There's no doubt in his mind that Kayla is the mate for him, but does she feel the same way?

I really enjoyed this book. Nate and Kayla are good together but they also fir together like puzzle pieces. Where Kayla can be shy and reserved, Nate can be more outgoing. Neither is afraid of hard work nor are they afraid to do what needs to be done to keep the people they care about safe. I loved how everything played out. Parts of it were a little slow, but that is the only reason why I knocked it down a star. Everything else played out perfectly.

This book was a great crossover between a mystery, fantasy and romance. You get to see the bond and romance grow as Kayla and Nate work together to investigate a mystery that kept me on my toes the entire book. Definitely would recommend to a YA reader!

Where Paige Tyler is more action and then Romance Terry Spear is more romance and less action. The story is a romance first with some suspenseful moments. The characters were a little bland and boring at times. Wolf On the Wild Side is a very predictable story at its best.
Thank you Netgalley

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Wow, this book was filled with drama as Nate and Kayla tried to mate and enjoy their honeymoon!

Nate, the PI, was working on a case of a missing man, add their road rage incident, and some local jewelry store robberies, along with human trespassers - what a mix of action as they save stupid tourists, run for their lives, and solve both mysteries - all while on their honeymoon!

Fun to see others in Silver Lake pack, and hope Rosie gets her mate soon!

A well-written shifter romance with a bit of mystery and danger. Here th story focuses on Kayla and Nate. Kayla and her siblings are the proprietors of a ski resort/wedding venue in Silver Town, Colorado, a wolf shifter town. Nate is a local PI. They have been dating for a while and are in no rush to mate. Throw in robberies, a murder, trespassers, and lack of privacy when they try to get away to take their relationship to the next level and the result is a great story. Join them as they investigate the crimes and find their HEA.

Thank you NetGalley, Terry Spear and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Great start to a new series. Kayla and Nate's story is filled with all the good stuff. Romance, suspense and twists that make you keep flipping pages. It did move a slow in places but picked up again quickly. I am new to Terry Spear so I was not sure what to expect, but I will be reading more of her work. I cannot wait for the next installment to this series.

Kayla Wolff is a quadruplet who is special. She was born after midnight so has her own birthday. Kayla along with her two brothers and sister run a ski lodge near Silvertown Colorado. Nate Grayson is a Private Investigator who recently move to Silvertown. He and his sister have been hired to find a missing man. Nate is about to make a big leap with the woman he loves. While on vacation Nate and Kayla will be pulled into a mystery that may lead them being a Wolf on the Wild Side.

Wolf on the Wild Side by Terry Spear brings back her popular Silvertown series and follows the Wolff family with the story of Kayla and the man she’s been dating Nate Grayson. The youngest of the Wolff quadruplets who own the local ski lodge near Silvertown. Kayla takes care of the marketing and promotion and fills in where needed. Even though she’s one of four wolves, her birthday is the day after her siblings. Nate Grayson is a Private Investigator in business with his sister. He’s been dating Kayla for a while and has plans to make her birthday special by taking her on vacation to nearby cabins owned by the Pack Leader. Wolf on the Wild Side has suspense, mystery, drama, and keeps you wondering what more can happen to these two main characters as they celebrate their lives together as they try to relax on vacation. There are abundant bad guys, a dead body, a missing man all as the story continues on its way to a conclusion. Terry Spear takes the reader back to a familiar area, with much loved characters and still gives you a wonderful story with romance and a little steam with her story Wolf on the Wild Side. A unique story that with the background of summer instead of winter like you’d assume with a ski lodge owner. There is only one of the Wolff siblings to find their mate and hopefully she’ll get her story soon. A must read for Terry Spear fans and a great story to introduce you to her wolf world and a wolf run town.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks/Casablanca for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the beginning of a new series. I must say that some of the characters are from previous books. This is a paranormal romance with some suspense. This is a good read. The characters are interesting and fun. Kayla and Nate work through their problems. Don't we all wish we had Kayla's luck for finding jewelry. 4 stars

I love Terry Spear's books. Her wolf's are among my favorite in this genre. She definitely knows how to write great shifters! I always look forward to reading her books and Wolf on the Wild Side was exactly the type of great story I've come to love and expect from Terry.

First in a series. From the names of some of the other books by this author it seems to be set in the same general area/world as other books and may have some character crossover, but not so much that it is too confusing to read this without reading those.
I like the idea of towns full of/ run by werewolves (they only refer to themselves as wolves but they change back and forth so I'm going with it) A lot going on in their small towns. Absolutely action packed! Almost a car crash in the first chapter gets your heart racing from the start. Main characters are a werewolf PI and a werewolf co-running a ski lodge that seems to host many a wedding. I don't know where all this concern over her shifting in front of him comes from as it seems they sometimes do wolf runs runs together and shift in front of each other. A sweet romance with a lot of sex scenes. Like the characters personalities. Heads up, the copy I got off Netgalley had what seem to be editors notes on page 116, 126, 191 and 198 that you should remove.

Kayla Wolff and Nate Greyson are wolf shifters who have been dating a while. Both want to mate but haven't admitted to it yet. They live in a wolf run town with the rest of their siblings. Kayla and her sister and brothers run the lodge where human tourists can also stay. Nate is a P.I. and works with his sister.

This steamy paranormal romance is part of a series and I think better read in order. Our characters this time have a mystery to solve, and their love life to move in the right direction. Unfortunately their plans keep being interrupted by bad guys. Lots of laughs and a lot of danger in this adventure.

Good fun.

It’s time to return to one of my favorite Shifter locations Silver Town, Colorado, for Wolf on the Wild Side, the first story in the connecting series, Run with the Wolf. As with any story within the Heart of the Wolf Universe, you can easily start right here; even though I wouldn’t call it a true standalone, you don’t “need” to have the full background to enjoy Nate and Kayla’s story, but you may run across some familiar faces if you’ve read previous stories set in this world.

Nate and Kayla have had a slow-burn style dating relationship for some time now. While they each love the other, they haven’t exactly taken their relationship to the next level of acknowledging that they are mates. Kayla has been too busy establishing and running the local inn/wedding destination with her siblings, and Nate has been wrapped up in his private investigator cases. They feel no real rush, but their feelings are intensifying, and not always the “feel good” ones, but the “do they really love me” ones as well. Add to that drama between mates; the robberies around Silver Town have been increasing, which is putting everyone on edge. They’ll decide to get away from it all to a vacation cabin… and right into the middle of danger.

Wolf on the Wild Side is exactly what I expect of Terry Spear: a well-written story in a familiar world with a new couple to get to know, a touch of danger, lots of “special moments’ between the couple, both steamy and cuddly, as well as familiar faces wandering through the story at times. I love returning to this world, especially with a new series. If you love a well-written paranormal romance with some steam, a lot of laughter, tense moments, a bit of danger, and a plot that will keep you searching for clues throughout… then you’re going to love this one.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley, and I sincerely thank the author or publishing house for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

As always, Terry Spear's ability to weave words together you actually feel as if you are right there at the lodge, camping or just breathing in the clean air.

Wolf on the Wild Side by Terry Spear
Paranormal wolf shifter romance. Not listed as part of a specific series but many characters from prior books make appearances.
Kayla and Nate have been dating exclusively for awhile. Both were fine with taking their relationship slowly and now feel it’s time to take the next step to mate. Meanwhile, local jewelry stores are being broken into evidence points to one or more of the robbers stayed at the inn that Kayla helps manage. Danger ramps up as a stranger is found dead in the woods and another escapes the police when questioned. Kayla and Nate decide to go camping to get away and find trespassers, and trouble, over and over again.

Repeatedly finding trespassers and people around what is supposed to be a secluded cabin began to be comical. Kayla and Nate are either blessed or cursed by interruptions of their alone time. And they are apparently charmed as well in finding hidden bags of jewelry. Bringing in previous characters such as the sheriff and pack master and prior couples makes the story fun for regular readers. Sisters trying to beat each other through the door and bestie pets make the story comforting and precious.
3.5

I received a copy of this from NetGalley.
