This was a thrilling book! The hairs on the back of my neck stood up while reading.
The characters creeped me out (in a good way), the storyline moved quickly, and I had a hard time putting this book down.

Lindsay Cameron's debut novel grabbed me and sucked me in in a way I never expected, so I had extremely high hopes for No One Needs to Know. While I didn't blaze through it with the intensity that I read Just One Look, I did enjoy it. Cameron has a knack for characterization that really worked for this story, as the perspective shifts were very clear and obvious. That's a challenging thing to do, and it was done well. I ultimately just wasn't as invested in the mystery this time around - no judgement to the author there. Solid book that I would definitely recommend.

I am always a big fan of UES scandals and this book was chock full of them! It read like a grown up Gossip Girl and I loved the Urban Myth platform plot point!

I absolutely loved this book! It was psychologically suspenseful and dramatic. Everything I love in a book (also, love Gossip Girl and this reminded me of that high class society). When everything got leaked, I saw how even more dramatic it would get at that moment. Highly recommend!

This book started and ended well, but the middle was very chaotic! It was hard to keep up with the different characters and plot points throughout. The author did a good job of tying things together, and I didn’t expect the ending.

I read "Just One Look" by Lindsay Cameron & loved it so I was very excited to see her next book available to review.
"No One Needs To Know" didn't disappoint me.
It was interesting, addictive, twisty & unique.
The ending was a complete surprise.
I can't wait to read what Ms. Cameron decides to write next.

No One Needs to Know is about three mothers, Poppy, Norah and Heather. I honestly was not invested in any of these women nor any of the other characters in the story.
Not a page turner for me. Bit of a struggle to get through.
All in all, a ok read with some intriguing elements. Just not a book I’d read again.

This was a story set in the Upper East Side of New York among the city's elite 1%. They're all vying for their children to land a spot in a prestigious boarding school when one of their own ends up dead.
Will they be able to use the anonymous online platform, UrbanMyth, to find out who did it? One wouldn't think so until the website is hacked and everyone's post become exposed!

This story was a little slow for me in the beginning, but it quickly picked up and drew me in! It was a little confusing with the chapters flipping from character to character until I learned better who everyone was. I didn't see the twist at the end coming at all so that was a nice surprise! I do wish we would've learned about how the kiddos faired since the book started out centered around that but then ended with solving the murder. I feel as if it's missing that entire part of the story. All in All it was a good book with a great twist at the end. 3.5 stars is my final review!

I love a book that takes place in New York City and focuses on the elite. Rich people behaving poorly? Count me in! This book focuses on one Upper Eastside neighborhood where neighbors share their secrets and air their dirty laundry on a site called Urban Myth, anonymously. The site is eventually hacked and all hell breaks loose.
This book shows the CRAZY lengths some people will go to get their children into the top, most prestigious schools.
I found this one to start off slow, but it did eventually pick up. I could not stand any of the characters. They were over the top obnoxious. This one did have some twists, and one that I didn’t expect!

I really enjoyed this book, in a time where everyone shares everything on the internet this book hit the mail on the head. People have such a false sense of security when it comes to “anonymous” posts. In the real world things like that can and will definitely come back to bite you like a snake. I really liked and despised several of the characters in the very best way. The twist at the end was unexpected and I loved it!!

UrbanMyth is an anonymous forum where anyone can disclose anything. This quickly becomes an issue when the app is hacked and reveals who posted which items. For the wealthy residents of Upper East Side, it divulges all their secrets, leading to many being questioned in regards to a missing member of the community. Overall, a quick mystery with characters who aren't particularly likeable but still leave the reader wanting to figure out what really happened.

In this neighborhood of Upper East Side Manhattan, social standing and money is everything! There isn’t any lengths these parents wont go to make sure their child is accepted into the best boarding schools, which is preparation for their child’s Ivy League college’s acceptance. In their down time some of the parents spend their time on UrbanMyth, which is a completely anonymous discussion board , where residents post their gossip, or ask personal questions, and even reveal their deep dark secrets anonymously .
Soon three moms Poppy, Norah, and Heather learn that nothing remains anonymous, but when someone ends up dead and UrbanMyth gets hacked , they soon find themselves suspects. Each of them has a secret to keep, but whose willing to kill to to make sure it’s never revealed? These moms are at each others throats! The drama and back stabbing was crazy! The story is told in three POV. I enjoyed that no one was safe from the website!

Another 4 star fun read. I'm totally fascinated about the issues and drama that involves social media. Daily we see the repercussions of the downside of social media. What we say, no matter how we say it on line, it never goes away and the repercussions of what we say comes back when you least expect it. Add in a thriller mystery? Yes, please!! This was a fun read and I had a rip roaring time reading. I couldn't believe how quickly I was able to submerge myself into the story. Many times I found myself talking to the book, expecting a response. I would have gave it 5 stars, it was 50 pages too long.

Big Little Lies meets Gossip Girl (as the blurb by Liv Constantine claims) fits this story exactly! A ritzy NYC neighborhood has their own anonymous discussion board/forum where people share their darkest secrets. But of course, not everything online stays anon. Also has a bit of the USC admissions scandal atmosphere as well as we get a glimpse of what people will do to get their kid into the very best school. So might call this trashy or tacky, but I absolutely loved the gossipy nature of it. Finished in a day!

This book was overall enjoyable. There were some twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout the book. I did find a few of the characters entirely unlikeable which made this a slog at times. I also found quite a few comments that were negative and somewhat offensive about Catholics. I'm not sure the author's agenda there, but I did not enjoy it.

I know I have a hard time relating because I am nowhere near the status or wealth of these people but it amazes me the lengths people will go to for their kids to insure they go to the "right" school, join the "right" clubs, etc. It's also amazing that people ever think secrets will stay secrets on the internet. In a story of complete scandal, ruthless parents doing anything possible to push their kids in the right direction and people with no morals, this was entertaining.

I enjoyed the premise of a wealthy neighborhood forum being hacked, spilling salacious secrets! I loved the way the author wrote scandalous (anonymous) posts on the forum. I do wish that the forum aspect had more of a focus to the overall plot. I wanted more drama! But was overall pleased with the direction of the story and the focus on a small group of mothers, who couldn’t be more different in background, coming together for the sake of their children and their reputations.

this one was way too predictable and also I’m way too sick of reading about unhinged white rich privileged women get away with literal murder and crimes involving their children

like can we not continually promote these kind of stories and instead focus perhaps on underprivileged children of color or their stories

ANYWAY I did enjoy the fast-paced quick story, and the love to hate characters - but for as quick as the plot moved, it seemed all over the place. there were so many threads that were opened (between all of the women, husbands and their middle school children for heck’s sake) - and most of them panned out to nothing or was never mentioned again

I think the storyline needed to be fleshed out a little bit more as I would have liked a more satisfying conclusion and not one that seemed strung out of nowhere

for a novice thriller reader, they’ll probably eat this one up! but this was sadly a pass from me. thank you to netgalley and bantam for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, entertaining read full of unlikeable spoiled rich characters that just keep taking their lives down the drain when a hacker exposes their secrets that have been posted on an anonymous discussion board. Manhattan’s Upper East Side elite is spiraling and trying to figure out who is behind it, and then oopsie doopsie, someone ends up dead. Who did it? And who is regretting their moves as it makes them look like a suspect? I’ll never tell, you’ll have to read this for yourself, but it was not who I expected, I will say that. I love stories like this, a page turner full of twists and secrets, leading up to an ending that did not disappoint.

This was great on audio, I loved reading it this way and definitely recommend it. Lindsay Cameron is now an auto read author after loving this and her prior book. I can’t wait to see what she writes next!
