It’s no secret that residents of New York’s Upper East Side are wealthy. But with that wealth comes a LOT of drama. And secrets. An app is created for users to post anonymously to a forum, and soon the forum is full of scandalous details of their lives. Posts about blackmail, affairs, accusations, anything you would never want to say out loud. But what happens when that app is hacked and nobody’s secrets are secret anymore?

This story is captivating. I can’t say that I could fully relate to the characters, because that lifestyle is completely foreign to me. I will never be able to just pay away all of my problems. But boy is it fascinating, and infuriating at the same time. The way some of these characters (Poppy…) genuinely think that having money make them superior to others, it’s disgusting. But I always say that a story that can bring out such strong emotions in me is a great book.

The story line was wild. The constant chaos and trying to figure out everyone’s secrets and lies and who’s plotting what…it kept me on my toes. I didn’t want to put it down! It definitely gives *Gossip Girl* vibes, so if you were a fan of the show, READ THIS BOOK!

3.5 stars. An interesting thriller with plenty of twists and turns that seems to have shades of Real Housewives of NYC and Big Little Lies! Set in the Upper East Side of NYC, this involves a posh private school, helicopter parents, and a plethora of secrets — many of which get revealed through the course of the novel. A page-turner to be sure, and one with a very fitting ending.

This was my first time reading a book by Lindsay Cameron and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This is more like a women's fiction book with lots of drama and secrets mixed in. It was an easy read and I think the author did a good job weaving the plot together. I liked the writing and I liked the New York setting. I also enjoyed all three points of view so that was a plus even though most of the characters were unlikeable.

There were a few minor things that didn't work for me. One being the mystery element which I felt was weak. The reveal also was a little flat and didn't really surprise me. I thought things would end with a bang, but that didn't quite happen. I also thought there were some things that were left unresolved. But none of those things stopped me from liking the book. I'd happily read more from this author in the future.

This story is full of scandal, rich parents, infidelity, and secrets. It has major Big Little Lies vibes.

It takes place in the Upper East Side of New York and involves three sets of parents whose middle school children attend the same high end school.

When someone is found murdered, the story rewinds and provides multiple POVs to illustrate how it all went down and how everyone is connected.

It was on the slower side but was easy to breeze through with all the juicy gossip and wildly inappropriate antics of the rich New Yorkers.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys popcorn thriller filled with drama. I found it entertaining.

UrbanMyth was anonymous right up until it wasn't. Postings are then made public, and what trouble that all stirs up.

An "anonymous" social media site for a super wealthy New York neighborhood gets hacked, revealing all of the dirty little secrets of its users. The lies, the gory details of marriages, the desires for harm to spouses- all open in the blink of an eye - and the fallout is magnificent!

This book hooked me. It was like watching a bad car accident... you can't stop looking no matter how bad it gets. I have literally no comprehension of the lifestyle that these people lead, but the author did a good job painting the picture of each character. I loved them, I hated them, I couldn't get enough of them. Every time I put the book down, I wanted to pick it back up and keep going. I NEEDED to know what was going to happen next.

Clever concept with an interesting plot development. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes these style of books.

A slow burn, Lindsay Cameron weaved an intriguing tale that had me on the edge of my seat. There were a couple of mysteries going on in the story. I had no idea where the author was going with the one mystery, and I was shocked at the revelation at it. As far as the other mystery goes, I figured what likely happened to the character but had no idea who was involved with it.

Told from three different characters, none of them were particularly likable. I kept expecting them to redeem themselves, and I guess they did somewhat in the end. However, I still didn't really care for any of them.

Well written, intriguing, and absolutely entertaining, I thoroughly enjoyed No One Needs To Know by Lindsay Cameron. Five out of five stars.

I’ve never lived a life like the characters in this book: filthy rich, with beautiful homes, bodies tucked and molded, and children that are definitely going to the finest schools, no matter what. After reading this, it quells any desires I might have had to live the life of the rich.
Meet Poppy, Norah, and Heather, a cut-throat group of mothers whose daughters are vying for a few spaces in the most prestigious school. Two-faced, manipulative, and determined to succeed, these women will do whatever it takes. They all anonymously vent their frustrations on a safe website, UrbanMyth. They openly discuss affairs, money, and personal family secrets. All is fun until one day it isn’t. The cloak of secrecy is thrown back and life gets vicious.
You’ll detest these ladies, but at times you’ll actually have a small amount of compassion for them. This is another fun, quick, entertaining read by the author of “Just One Look”. Both books will keep you hooked until the last page.

"No One Needs to Know" was a fast paced book with multiple points of view. The drama on the Upper East Side in New York is endless for high school kids and their parents, and we got to read all about that in this book.

Life on the upper east side of Manhattan is no picnic, especially if you have children and you must understand the rules of the game if you want them to be accepted into the best schools. Sure, a smart child helps, but money can make up for more than just an average student.
Told from three POV’s, Heather, Poppy, and Norah, who each want the best for their child. Poppy has the most money, and she knows how to use it to ensure that her son winds up exactly where she wants him.
Heather doesn’t have a trust fund to fall back on, but she knows how to make sure her smart daughter Violet gets into the best schools. A picture and one mistake may mean Violet doesn’t achieve her plans and she will do just about anything to figure out who is out to get Violet
Norah is a working mother. She was lucky enough to marry Bennett, who treats her daughter Caroline very well. But when she finds out what he’s been doing, she will stop at nothing to protect Caroline.
These three women’s lives become tangled in the same messy situation when someone goes missing. Add in the fact that an anonymous group they belong to is hacked, and you have the recipe for some ugly truths to become public.
This publishes in May, and when I read the last word, all I could think of was what a great beach read,No One Needs to Know would be. It was hard to find a redeeming quality with most of these characters, but it was a juicy page turner. It reminded me that the rich or rich wannabes are truly different. This one had me rolling my eyes at these women on just about every single page.

This book was WAY better than I thought it would be. The story is far more complex than you think at first. The extremes that these people go to are beyond. Just beyond!

I loved this book so much! I really didn’t know what it was about when I started reading it, but I quickly was obsessed! The characters are well developed, and I couldn’t help but love them all!

This was a fun one & I really enjoyed this book. I love a good book about the rich and add in a suspense aspect I'm so glad that I got the chance to read it early and will definitely be recommending it to multiple people who enjoy these types of novels. I enjoyed the characters and especially enjoyed the writing by this author. I'm excited to see what the author comes out with next as I'll definitely be reading it! Love a good neighborhood thriller? Alright. What if that neighborhood wasn’t in the suburbs, but instead had an address on THE Park Avenue on the Upper East Side! Ooh! Scandalous!

Does living the high life of the ultra-rich make all your problems go away? Or do you just have different, bigger troubles with more dire consequences? (Umm...No thank you!).

Three couples bent on doing whatever it takes to get their golden children into a prestigious boarding school. Is it worth all the accompanying lies and scandals that are about to follow?

A fun engaging read that drew me in immediately! Loved how the stories of these families wove together for an explosive ending.

Though I read the digital version I do think this would’ve been even better as an audio with multiple narrators. Maybe I should have waited for the 🎧🤷‍♀️

Already looking forward to the next release by this skillful author.

I'm on the fence with this one. I like the concept of the parent app getting hacked and all the dirty secrets come out. Gave me a soap opera Desperate Housewives element. I thought it cool how it had elements of the College Admissions Scandal. Well written, great flow, but , quick read. HOWEVER, the dead body I was waiting for was not mentioned till about past 60% of the book. Plus none of these characters were likeable.

I have enjoyed Lindsay Cameron’s previous books and this one was good as well. It definitely has a grown up Gossip Girl vibe and I had fun reading that it. Some of the chapters dragged a bit in the middle, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars, but I liked the resolution to the main mystery.

I hated almost every person in this book, so that was my first problem with it. I did like the conclusion, although it didn’t feel all that realistic.

I literally rolled my eyes at the awful antics of the women at the beginning of the book. However, it was interesting to see how different their warped view of life was from what was really happening.

No One Needs to Know is a high-society domestic thriller centered around parents of private school children in the Upper East Side. These parents would do anything to secure a spot in the most prestigious boarding schools and universities, but where do they draw the line?

This book is written in multiple perspectives, switching between different women with children enrolled at Crofton private school. The perspective switching was executed well and helped the story to feel fast-paced. It reads very much like a drama-filled TV show from the mid-2000s (in a good way). The characters are not likable, but they are really interesting.

This book will probably infuriate you and make you want to eat the rich, but it's also a trainwreck that you can't look away from. If you like high-society domestic thrillers you'll definitely like this book.

Secrets….they’re not good and everybody has em. Also, rich people are bonkers and will do anything for whatever it s they “love”. I sure hope this isn’t really what the UES’s are truly like. This story never really jelled for me. It’s perfectly fine but I found the resolution to be unsatisfying and the timing off.
