Poppy, Norah, and Heather are all wealthy moms on the Upper East Side. They’ll do anything to get their eighth graders accepted into elite schools, however, when the anonymous confession site UrbanMyth gets hacked, all of the secrets of the UES elite are exposed, and everyone’s a suspect when one of their own winds up dead.

NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW by Lindsay Cameron was such a fun read! I love reading about messy rich moms and this book delivered that and more.

We alternate among the perspectives of three moms, Poppy, Norah, and Heather, with each of their POVs hinting at secrets that they’re hiding. These points of view are intercut with posts from the anonymous site UrbanMyth (LOVED THE TEA HERE!), and emails with a detective from the local precinct, which made it so easy for this book to be binged!

There was just the right amount of tension, and this one has me excited to finally pick up Cameron’s previous book JUST ONE LOOK!

Big Little Lies and Gossip Girl fans rejoice! This one is for you!

The setting is the Upper East side of Manhattan. The elites will do anything to get their children into the best private schools and ivy league colleges. The story centers on three main characters with secrets. Each character was written very well from their own point of view. I found them to be flawed but likable. The parents use an anonymous neighborhood app called UrbanMyth. This platform is used to confess secrets, ask questions and gossip. When UrbanMyth is hacked and all of their anonymous secrets are made public everyone panics leading to a possible murder. This book was well written, highly entertaining, and a fast, easy read. I could not put it down. If you like books about the rich behaving badly, secrets, gossip, and a little mystery, I highly recommend it.
Thankyou to NetGalley and Bantam Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A fun read but didn't find any of the characters likeable. As for thrillers I didn't find this as "thrilling" as some of the other books I've read this year. Maybe its because I don't find the college admissions scandal piece to be exciting.

This story sucked me in right away and I devoured this book in a day! The plot, pacing and characters were spot on.

It’s an interesting glimpse into a world that is completely foreign to me (the 1% old money set) and I’m thankful for that. There is so much competition, backstabbing and jealousy scattered throughout this tale.

My only criticism is that the story concludes rather abruptly and a bit too neatly. I wasn’t unhappy about the turn of events but it was a bit silly, too convenient while leaving some threads unanswered. I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and will check out more by this author.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for a copy of this story in exchange for a review.

Thank you to NetGalley, the Publishers, and Lindsay Cameron for allowing me a chance for an ARC of No One Needs to Know! This is a quick read and definitely keeps you on your toes. What lengths would you go to for your children to be set up for their futures? What happens when all your anonymous secrets come spilling out for everyone to see?! I hoped for a little more character development - I didn’t get to attached to any of the characters, but I did enjoy the plot!

This book is like Gossip Girls but for adults. It's juicy. It's salacious. It's unputdownable.
The story follows three women: Heather, Norah and Poppy. They're all residents of Manhattan's exclusive and coveted Upper East Side, but not all of them are created equally. While some are eye-wateringly wealthy, others have to struggle to stay within the 1% While some vie for the position of top dog in this exclusive social world, others don't care about keeping up with the Jones. But there is one things these women do have in common: They all have dark secrets and will do anything to keep them hidden. But secrets are a burden and UrbanMyth, an website where you can post questions (and dark secrets) anonymously, is the perfect place to unburden yourself.
Unfortunately for them, UrbanMyth gets hacked and all the dirty little secrets of the 1% start spilling out for everyone to see. Which complicates things considering someone has been murders and one of these women might just be responsible.

I really enjoyed this one! I do love a scandalous tale, especially one that's well-written and keeps me guessing. While there is a murder mystery at play, the real tension lies in the secrets the MCs have and if/when those secrets will be exposed. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for their worlds to implode.

While the end was wrapped up fine, I wasn't a big fan of the final chapter. It seemed anticlimactic after all the buildup we had so far. I guess I was wanting one more twist to make it more devious/to make it match the tone of the rest of the book, but it didn't come. I was also hoping for an Epilogue. I really wanted to know the fate of our three MCs when it was all said and done. Maybe one will be added before publication? Fingers crossed!

Overall, though, I did really enjoy this book and recommend it to fans of Gossip Girl, Liane Moriarty and Mary Cobb.
Also, I read the Kindle version, but I think this story would be fabulous in audio format and will no doubt get the Audiobook when it's available.

Juicy, gossipy and soapy. Love a good look into the 1% and how people will go to any lengths to keep what they think they deserve

I wouldn't classify this as a "thriller" persay but it was still good. Very reminiscent of Little Big Lies but not a copy at all!

Loved the social media aspect as well. My one critique is that I felt like I needed a flow chart at times due to the complicated web of connections between some characters, but I got it eventually!

Books with multiple perspectives seem to draw me in and this one was no different. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for the digital ARC.

I love a good thriller and No One Needs to Know did not disappoint!
Lifestyles of the rich and famous in New York, and let’s see what happens when all their darkest secrets posted online anonymously are suddenly revealed!
I love the backstories of all the characters and how they all intertwined throughout the parents and adults.
I devoured this book!

If you are a fan of rich women drama-this is your book! I enjoyed this story very much. It was interesting, kept you guessing, and kept my attention throughout. There were several characters with similar names and occasionally, I would get a little confused. Though the story line was excellent, the writing was fair to good. Definitely a good beach or vacation read!

I received an ARC of this upcoming novel (due out May, 2023) through NetGalley.

This is a very entertaining satire, remindful of any number of old TV series that mocked wealthy communities. In this case, the setting is New York City. The focus is on the families of 8th grade students, whose parents are obsessed with getting their children into elite high schools and universities.

Also essential to the plot of this book is how people behave on social media. It can be used to attack people anonymously. And people, again without revealing who they are, can expose their deepest and darkest secrets and open their private lives to discussion. All of this happens in No One Needs to Know.

Eventually the atmosphere in this community leads to tragedy. There are three women who are the principal narrators in this book. How will the tragedy impact them and those around them? Will justice be served?

This is a fun read. Interesting characters, a lively writing style and a plot that kept me engaged.

I enjoyed the format of this book and thought the premise was interesting. It definitely felt similar to Big Little Lies. The ending felt somewhat out of place to me. I rate this book 3 stars.

If something is labeled as a thriller but it doesn’t thrill you, is it really a thriller? Especially when the plot twist doesn’t come until 68% of the way into the book?

This one had a lot of potential, and I was eager to get my hands on it and read it so I’m very grateful I got an advanced reader copy! But the promise of “Big Little Lies meets Gossip Girl” is misleading and I think that contributed to my high expectations.

I can see how it attempted to resemble Big Little Lies based solely off of the twist at the end and how the women came together the way they did. But none of the three main characters were flushed out enough for me to even determine what made them each unique from the other and I found myself neither rooting for them nor caring what happened.

I pushed through this because I knew the twist was coming. And while some aspects of this were intriguing, it read as more of a drama or contemporary fiction than a thriller. Overall, what saved this book was the writing prose and the interesting concept, despite its execution.

DNFed around the 12% mark. This isn't like other mystery/thriller books. It was hard to get into. And in the first few chapters they give a hell a lot of background information on the characters, and that's not how it shouldn't be done. A snooze fest.

This was super fast-paced and was such a fun read. I love the stakes and the high-society tidbits of life--a life I will most likely never get to truly experience LOL so this was fun. I thought that the actual mystery was sort of predictable, but it was still a fun read. This was like watching an episode of Real Housewives but with a murder! Twisty and turny, I can see this being the book of the summer!

Juicy and gossipy and full of rich people behaving badly - so much fun! I loved how it alternated between different families and dug deep into their secrets and the things they protected about their lives, and how weird and bad they all were underneath. The end was crazy - the whole story was honestly crazy - and every single person was a disaster. This is like modern Judith Krantz in some ways, which is the highest compliment I can give a rich person novel.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I LOVED this book. It was just great. I read it while on vacation and it was the perfect book. I was able to easily pick up where I left off without being confused. Lindsay Cameron does a great job of keeping you interested without giving too many details so that you can’t keep the characters straight. Everyone on the Upper East Side seems to have something to hide. When Violet’s picture is taken while vaping and then posted to the private school IG, the crowd goes wild. Her mom tries to seek revenge, other parents accuse her of being a drug dealer, the moms on the chat Urban Myth, wonder what is going to happen next. Of course there is a death and a clever whodunit. Read this book at the beach. Stick in your bag to read at lunch. Read it in a nice, quiet place with a glass of wine but Read This Book!!!

I love a good look into the one percent. I love a look at what lengths people will go to to preserve what they believe they deserve. I love a force that moves to expose the facade people call life. It has all these elements and more. It’s so worth the time . The ending is the best moment. Happy reading

A novel surrounding the lavish lifestyles of three elite families of the Upper East Side. Reminded me of the college admissions scandal where schools mean everything and money can buy anything. Packed full of drama and lies, these families lies begin to be revealed through the platform UrbanMyth. I liked the story line and was definitely a page turner, it was a bit confusing and unrealistic at times, the more I read it the more I began to dislike it. The ending seemed abrupt and I wish there was more closure.

Thank you for the opportunity to preview No One Needs To Know.
I felt like this book was like watching the real housewives show. The super elite women in New York have secrets that will turn each others lives apart
Twisty and steamy a fast read and would be great for the beach

The world of elite NYC prep schools meets the secrets that women keep in this suspenseful novel by Lindsay Cameron. The story is told from three parent perspectives: Heather, Poppy, and Norah. Each women is willing to do anything to help their child succeed, but they are each keeping secrets from their spouse as well.

Mixed in with this drama is an anonymous social media site called UrbanMyth on which people post their darkest secrets and forbidden thoughts. It seems like a perfectly safe platform until hackers reveal the identity behind each post. Now, a man is missing, the police are asking questions, and each woman is worried which, if any, of their secrets are still safe.

This was a pretty enjoyable read. Books with multiple perspectives seem to draw me in and this one was no different. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for the digital ARC.
