This tale of turtle hearing issues brought a smile to my face. The pictures are simple and engaging like the whimsical text. Turtles with hats and bling! Why not? Plus, adult and young readers can learn a few salient facts about our turtle friends and the science of hearing from this storybook.

Author Kelly Tills continues to amuse me with a fun, cute series with simple, easy to understand text and interesting facts about the animals around us. It's great to see her expanding the series to a larger, none English speaking readership.

I read the Spanish version, Las Tortugas Tienen Oídos Secretos, and it was adorable. The illustrations are cute and the text is informative and a little silly. ¡Qué increíble!
