As a gym junkie, I really liked the gym element in this romance and I appreciated the witty banter between Lizzie and Cara and Lizzie and James. But my goodness the parents seemed so grating and awful —so much so it was almost hard to believe.
I felt like it was pretty mild in the steam factor department and thought it definitely could have been spicier, but I also know that’s not for everyone, so maybe it appeals to a wider swath of readers this way!
