At the end of the day is this story very unbelievable? Yes. But did I absolutely love and devour this book? YES! I think Harlan Coben has a winner here!

David Burroughs is serving a life sentence in prison for murdering his toddler son, but David sees a photo from a visitor in prison and everything changes. This was a solid 4-4.5 star for me. The only reason I took off a star was for the banter back and forth between the detectives. It was just a little too much for me. However, I loved the fast paced story, it sucked me in and I had to stay up late to finish!!

Thanks to NetGalley & Grand Central Publishing for this ARC!

Harlen Coben never disappoints! I tore through this one in two days, a fast-paced story that will suck you in and leave you breathless.

This was a fast paced read that kept me reaching for the book. Max and Sarah were so annoying! I love how Harlan gets you in your emotions towards characters so quickly. This author always gets an automatic read from me anytime because I love so many of his books. He is who I recommend to any new readers, and this book will be added to the list. Overall, this book was entertaining from the start of the interesting storyline and I’m so thankful to have received a copy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All inmates are innocent, right? In this case, David Burroughs surely is. After five years of incarceration in solitary confinement for the beating death of his 3-year old son, a sole photograph changes the trajectory of not only his life, but everyone associated with him in the past five years. Through the twists and turns, we follow David and those vowing to prove his innocence and others trying their best to keep him quiet. In true Coben style, good always prevails and attorney Hester Crimstein, one of my favorite characters, makes a special cameo appearance. Another great book by Harlan Coben, which leaves room for a second or more follow-on book with new characters. Ross Sumner? Interesting but secondary character who I’m excited to see in his own future novel as a main villain. Thank you NetGalley, Harlan Coben and Grand Central Publishing for this ARC which comes out on March 14, 2023.

Harlan Coben does it again with another face paced plot twist in I Will Find You.
David Burroughs finds himself incarcerated for killing his son; a crime he adamantly denies. He has served five years of his life sentence when a surprise visit from his sister-in-law Sarah changes everything.
David makes an escape from prison to search for his son who he believes is still alive and to find the truth behind that fatal night. With the FBI breathing down his neck, David and Sarah together set off to prove David is innocent. What follows is a fast past action thriller that kept me engaged from page one.
Thank you Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for my ARC.

When I saw that Harlan Coben had a new book out I knew that it was going to be amazing. I was not wrong. "I Will Find You" was as thrilling as inspirational. The story of a father who has been imprisoned for the death of his son, which he has denied, and his quest for justice. Many of Coben's books have been made into movies/tv series and I suspect this one will eventually as well. This book had me at the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. All in all, an amazing thriller!

If you can suspend your disbelief, you’ll enjoy this one. It was just a little too much for me. The ending was supposed to be shocking I suppose, but it just left me feeling like “is that it??”. I also didn’t like Max & his partner’s schtick they do over and over.

Overall I enjoyed this and something about it kept me turning pages to find out what happened.

About 15 years ago I picked up my first Harlan Coben book, Tell No One. It was so intense and exciting, and my journey into reading thrillers began. I read several other books by the author that were great, but none that replicated that heart racing feeling, that intensity of needing to know what was happening.

Until now.

I Will Find You follows David, a man who is in prison for murdering his son 5 years ago. David insists he didn’t do it but the evidence suggested otherwise. One day his sister in law shows up at the prison with a recent photograph proving that David’s son is actually still alive. He needs to get out of prison to find him. He is aided by a few people who believe him and chased by many more who don’t.

I started reading I Will Find You and really never wanted to stop. I was hooked from Chapter 1. I would pick it up and read a couple of pages any time I could, just to see what would happen next. I was so invested in the story and really stressed about David and wanting him to get away, and I needed to finish it as fast as I could! The author did an excellent job writing characters that were truly likable even when they shouldn’t be, and creating a story that makes the reader continue turning pages and ignoring their other responsibilities. So well done!

Thank you to the author, NetGalley, and Grand Central Publishing for the advance reader copy. I am leaving my honest review voluntarily.

Harlan Coben can do no wrong as a writer. I devour all of his books and I Will Find You is no exception. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. It is the kind of book that you think about during the day and can’t wait to read at night.
Don’t miss this one!

What a ride!!! It is totally unbelievable. As long as you can recognize that and just enjoy the story for what it is it is enjoyable. There are so many twists and turns. I couldn’t put this book down! Definitely recommend. Big thanks to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read the newest by Harlan Coben early. As soon as I saw it as available, I hit request. As expected, this did not disappoint. It was a gripping story, as we tried to figure out what had happened to the son of the main character. This is a stand alone, and is not part of any of the series' that the author writes. Like other reviewers, I did feel that the banter and dialogue between the FBI agents was over the top and unnecessary. All in all, a very enjoyable read that kept me wondering.

For being my first Harlan Coben book if this is not his best work then I’m ok with it, because overall I actually really dug this book. I liked it & if there’s better books out there by him I think I need to get my hands on them! His writing makes it very easy to cruise through a book. Sometimes the dialogue was a little much. I guess the best way I can describe it is that it has some filler/rambling or some of the dialogue was just worded oddly. Overall I like his writing style so if this is how his other books are I think I may have found a new author on my perma radar.

I thought this was a creative storyline (in prison for murdering his son when maybe he didn’t after all, or did ?). I mean I guess it doesn’t sound very unique when I put it down “on paper” per se but the entire storyline revolving around the boys murder I thought was unique.

The only thing I absolutely hated in this book was the banter between the two FBI agents (Max & Sarah), it was supposed to be funny but I really just wanted to tell them to stfu lol. When they weren’t doing that, which was rare, Max was fine. I actually liked most all the characters, or at least how their character was portrayed in the story even if they were a douche bag haha. The author did a good job at each characters role in the story. I especially really liked the main character David, and his ex-SIL Rachel they were a good combo. Not like Bonnie & Clyde level of badass but I liked the storyline between the two of them. I like how everything came together, it was a creative angle & a satisfying (enough) ending). Now that I’ve read it & had I known pre-reading it what I know now I still would’ve read it so for that reason I’m giving it 3-1/2⭐️ & rounding up 😜⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to both NetGalley & Grand Central Publishing for this advanced copy!!

David is serving a life sentence after being convicted of the murder of his three year old son. Five years into his sentence he still vehemently professes his innocence. He has had no outside visitors in the five years he has been incarcerated, wanting to see no one as his life ended the day Matthew died. When his sister in law shows up unexpectedly, David is curious about why now? He’s in for a big shock. Rachel has a photograph taken on a friends vacation with a young boy in the background. One that looks very much like Matthew. Is it possible that Matthew is still alive? David is dead set on escaping to find out, clear his name and set the record straight. Once again, Coben keeps us on edge in this fast paced, riveting thriller. Be prepared to read this one straight through, even with the believability factor, it’s still one wild ride! Thank you to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

A riveting suspense story that will have you trying to guess who did it. David Burroughs is serving a life sentence in a hardcore, maximum security prison for the murder of his three year old son Matthew. He has given up hope of trying to prove his innocence after his wife divorced him and along with his family, believes he is the killer. Five years into his sentence, David’s ex sister-in-law Rachel, a disgraced journalist shows up with a grainy photograph, convinced that the child in the picture is the now eight year old Matthew. The possibility that his son could still be alive sets the stage for this thriller of twists and turns as David and Rachel are in a race against time to find him.

Harlen Coben is a master of suspense and this story does not disappoint. Long time fans as well as readers new to his books will be engaged from the very first page and this fast paced thriller is sure to keep you engaged until the very last one.

Thank you Net Galley and Grand Central Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book hooked me from the very beginning! David is serving time for murdering his son even though he doesn't remember doing the act. He loses everyone in his life until one day, 5 years after his son' death, his SIL brings a photo to him. The photo is of his son, who they thought was dead, but very much alive. This story was action packed and exciting throughout. It kept me on the edge of my seat! Thanks to Grand Central publishing and NetGalley for this ARC!

Unputdownable! He gets better and better. I can’t wait to see how his books end but yet I don’t want them to end. He tackles ideas no one else can even think about. This book was like no other and I was so impressed. I can’t wait to tell others about it.

I have read every single book Harlan Coben has written but this one falls short for me. I would definitely characterize as a thriller but parts were way over the top for me. Will I read the next Harlan Coben book? Absolutely! I received an advanced readers copy and all opinions are my own.

This one is totally a yes from me!! So so so good!

It’s an action-packed read that kept me up until 3am, which tells you a lot about how good it is and how I lack any restraint in putting down a great book!

It does veer toward unbelievable at times, but it’s fiction, not Wikipedia, so I let it slide.

An all around winner from Harlan Coben! Thank you so much #netgalley for this ARC of #iwillfindyou

Harlan Coben is one of my favorite authors, and I Will Find You stayed true to why that is so!! I loved this story from start to finish, and only took breaks when necessary to work, eat, and sleep. The story line was fresh and followed a father, willing to take the fall for something he didn't do because he felt responsible for his son's death. Or had he really been killed? Action-packed, I fell in love with the characters and the courage it took for those that supported him.

I would put this one on your must-reads for 2023.
