My first book by this author and it certainly won’t be my last. A brilliantly depicted main character in the feisty trans lawyer Erin McCabe, a complex yet fascinating plot, great characterisation and a pacy writing style.

This drew me in from the start. An excellent and original book. I will be reading the previous books in this series.

This wasn't what I was expecting--it was waaaay better. I loved this. The characters were awesome. Some of my favorite characters in anything I've read in a year or two. They drove this legal mystery/thriller. A great book and my first by this author.

Erin McCabe, transgender woman with a kick ass law partner, accused of murder. These two make quite the team. Just loved their relationship. Can they piece together the betrayal of these political candidates and who set her up to take the fall of murder. Great gripping legal thriller. This was my first book by this author and it won’t be the last.

My advice, read this book if you like legal thrillers. Read it again if you like kick ass trans woman power! We need more books with characters like these!
