600 pgs for this???? Girl I wouldn’t want to be associated with this book. I didn’t like the characters. There was no chemistry or any passion.
Also you really changed the covers halfway thought a series like why would you do that???? My covers don’t match which makes me hate the book even more.
Thanks netgalley for the free ebook in exchange for a review.
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC
This may be the end of an era, but Lauren Asher ended it with a perfect bang.
Only she can make me sob several times in a billionaire romance. Cal Kane’s journey and seeing him overcome his struggles really touched my heart and had me rooting for him through it all.
Just like her other two book this is a 5 star read.
The perfect story for the end of this series! I have loved to see the development of Lauren Asher’s writing and storytelling from ‘Throttled’ all the way to now, and how much growth she has had as a writer along the way. This book was 500 pages of pure joy. This was my favorite book of Lauren’s so far, and I cannot wait to see what she releases in the future!
This is my favourite of the series. You had a build up to Callaghan’s story in the first two books and we finally get his. He is the typical middle child.
Callaghan is so different from Declan and Rowan, he’s more in touch with his feelings and they hurt. Those emotions are so hard for him to deal with that he tries to drown his sorrows at the end of a bottle. The way the author describes his addiction and doesn’t sensationalize it or romanticize it is great.
The fact that he learns to love and heal himself so he can be a good partner for Alana and a father a healthy and positive father figure to Camila.
Wonderful
Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for providing the ARC.
After reading Rowan and Declan's story, I knew that Cal was the one I was likely to be the most interested in. Completely irreverent and charming, it's easy to like him. Getting to know his backstory and his struggles make it so incredibly easy to love him. Lana never really stood a chance.
Addiction is an ugly disease that affects not just you, but everyone around you, too. I'm glad to see that Asher did not shy away from the ugly parts of Cal's story, but instead embraced them. It's what made the payoff so much sweeter in the end, knowing the hell that Cal had to battle to get there. And I love and appreciate Lana for her convictions, that sometimes love isn't enough, and she made the choice to protect herself and her family until Cal was able to demonstrate reform. It can be so hard reconciling love of a person and hatred of a disease, and realizing that you have to make the hard choice to remove them from your life.
This book was sad and uplifting at the same time, really honing in on a very difficult topic to write about and do justice. It has something that I feel was missing in the first two books - a bit more heart.
Final Offer is the last installment in the Dreamland Series and I absolutely loved Calalana. Can we first take a bow for Camilia ??!! That girl is literally angel, they don't lie when they said children are god sent. Camilia really made Callhan Kane life better by justi existing.
Now coming to our main couple, they're really good and the way there is so much angst between them makes the book more interesting. I would say Cal have dirtiest mouth among the kane brothers. ROWAN KANE really made me love him more in this book. God he is so perfect. Seeing DeclanIris, RowanZahra crumbs had me in literally crying mess.
Alana the strong girl you are handling so much grief but also wanting to give best for her sister's daughter had me sobbing.
and Also That billionarie ??!! are we gonna get a new series based on him and others ??!! I hope so
Lauren Asher is a queen. Protect her at all costs. Seriously. Wrap her in bubblewrap.
A beautiful ending to an amazing trilogy.
4.5 stars rounded down!
This was a fantastic closure to the "Dreamland Billionaires" series! I can't say much about this book yet, since it hasn't been released yet (January 31st!!) but expect a roller coaster!
I am always a sucker for a second-chance romance, and this one ticked all the boxes! Both Cal and Alana brought me with them on their ups and downs, and I can definitely say this one was the most poignant and emotional of all three!
Thank you so much SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books and NetGalley for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review!!
3.5 stars
Final Offer is the best in Lauren Asher's Dreamland Billionaires series far and away! Callahan and Alana are very cute together and I love there history. The setting really made the book for me, and I look forward to reading more of Asher's books set in the town.
One thing that really threw me off, though, was that Alana let Callahan near her daughter...even though he wasn't sober yet. That was so off brand for her character and I couldn't buy into it. It actually ended up distracting me and pulling me out of the story.
Overall, excellent conclusion to the series.
I love this story between Cal and Lana. As a woman, I admire Lana for sticking to her gut and making Cal go through the wringer to win her and Cami back. I like how the author did not make only Cal have problems. There were many characters who had problems and she brought light to that. It teaches the lesson that you are never alone even if it may seem like it. I liked seeing how hard Cal tried to make himself better for Lana and Cami. The author gave insight into how much he actually loved not just Lana but also Cami.
Really liked this last installment of the Dreamland Billionaires. It wasn't my absolute favorite of the series, but I did really love seeing Cal's progression, and seeing him fight for himself and to better his life.
This was the most perfect ending to a series ever. I cried twice. I never cry. This was so beautiful it broke my heart and stitched it back together. I absolutely loved this book. Lauren you are a Queen.
Cal!!! I was most excited about his story. He redeemed himself so so much. This was a long book but I still read it all in one day. This series was such a fun one. Definitely recommend
Thank you Bloom books and NetGalley for eARC in exchange for an honest review.
✧˚ ༘ ⋆。♡˚ It's sad to say goodbye to the Kanes! Adios, my friends.
I can't say much about this book, mainly because it's not out yet. But definitely expect a roller coaster of emotions! Cal and Alana made me go through ups and downs and you know what? I enjoyed it SO MUCH. I was anticipating every upcoming chapter, couldn't stop reading. This is a massive book, more than 500 pages, and last night I finished 200+ pages. It's impossible to put it down lmao. I closed the book at 2:00 AM maybe and I don't regret one thing about it.
I feel like this book is a good "final" chapter to close the Dreamland Billionaires series. Cal and Alana didn't disappoint and I'm so happy we finally got their story. Lauren Asher continues to write addictive stories that stay with us and in our hearts. And I believe this series will be the same for many.
So, thank you Bloom Books for sending me a copy. You always treat me so well!
Since the author kindly asked to not share any tropes, I won’t get into any of the tropes, but rather give you some slightly vague reasons to read. I didn’t know anything before I went in and I want to keep the same magic for my fellow readers. With that being said, let’s get into the 5 reasons why Final Offer is a must-read before February.
1. It's Cal's story.
This might seem like a relatively obvious point as we’ve learned a lot about Callahan within the first two books. Even so, Final Offer fills in all of the gaps and not only tells the story of Cal’s life currently but also dives into his past. It’s especially heartbreaking to learn about all the reasons why Cal acts the way he does yet I adored seeing his story, no matter how hard things got for him.
2. Final Offer immediately sucks you in and won't let go.
Let’s not mince words here. Final Offer is a LONG book and that’s not even talking about long it is for a romance book. This book is clocking in at almost 600 pages with the paperback although I’m not sure how it translates to Kindle pages. Even so, this book is long yet it didn’t feel like it after I read it in two sittings. The story was so immersive and you quickly fall in love with all of the characters and become invested in their lives.
3. The tropes are everything you never could have guessed.
Upon the author’s request to not share tropes or spoilers, I was a bit bummed because I was dying to read this book and talk about it. I love Lauren Asher though so I couldn’t let the queen down. Instead, I’m not going to share the tropes, but I will share that the tropes in here were pretty unexpected yet they made sense for the characters and made Cal and Alana feel more relatable.
4. In a word, the book is dreamy.
While I did like books 1 and 2 in the Dreamland Billionaires series, I will say that Final Offer felt like the book with the most stakes. Both Cal and Alana are dealing with a lot in their own lives amongst being forced together by Cal’s grandfather. I immediately fell head-over-heels for these two and their romance which truly felt like a dream. Seeing everything progress and watching them slowly but surely come back to each other was like watching a movie.
There were so many romantic and loving moments between these two characters. I just couldn’t get enough of their romance and honestly, I’d read 10 more books just watching them fall in love. Do you know when you’re listening to a love song and can imagine the fantasy of it all in your head? That’s how I felt about Cal and Alana for the majority of the story.
5. Final Offer was the perfect finale for the Dreamland Billionaires series.
My last reason to read might be a bit obvious, but it is the final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series, and what a book to end it on. Not only did we get Cal’s story, but we got cameos from the characters in the first two books. In addition, we’ve been hearing about Brady Kane’s will for the entire series and we learn a lot about that as the book progresses.
Ultimately if you love the series, please don’t hesitate on picking up Final Offer. This is easily my new favorite book in the series and I applaud Lauren Asher. She took such a beautiful yet nuanced story that I’m sure some readers will be able to relate to. Not everything in this book is beautiful, but it makes the ending even more enjoyable.
