A really sweet small town romance. Flower shop owner Annie and bodyguard Will seemingly have nothing in common, but Annie is determined to become the heroine of her own story, and she starts by asking Will to be her dating tutor. Gently romantic hijinks follow.

This would be a great book to give someone who wants to read closed door romance that isn't Amish. The town of Rome, Kentucky, is a charming backdrop, a place where nothing catastrophic happens.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

We love green flag men! I loved the premise and that it's not too spicy! Not all romances need to be spicy to make you fall in love with a couple.

Sarah Adams creates such beautiful characters and stories that I will always pick up a book by her and this is no exception. I mean, a tattooed bodyguard AND it's a small town romance, sign me UP! The chemistry Annie and Will had was undeniable and I was invested in their relationship from page 1. This book is so sweet and I ate it up!!!

3.5
I liked it better than the first one, but it was still alright. The story was a bit more relatable, but sometimes the things adult characters say seemed a bit immature.
I did like that we were close to the first couple as well. Such a cute read, especially having a main character who loves books as well.
I would continue to read books by the author, but might not read these ones again.
Thank you to Ballantine Books Group and Random House Publishing for the ARC of Practice Makes Perfect!

This book started off very weird at first. Very hard core "omg the FMC is so petite and virginal" which was weird. The book made it seem like it was going one way, and then it suddenly changed paths and got better after stepping away from the virgin concept and into the girl put in a box concept. Once the change happened, the book got good! There were some lack luster things where the build up did not match the outcome, but it was a decent book overall.

This was drop dead cute!!! Practice Makes Perfect is everything I've ever wanted in such a cozy warm hug. Highly recommend this for anyone in need of a quick fun read! Romance for the win.

Annie Walker and Will Griffin couldn't be more different. However, as the saying goes, opposites attract. Annie is tired of being the 'boring' date. She wants to be flirtatious and confident, definitely not a wallflower. Enter Will, a temporary fixture in town and the perfect person to help Annie discover how to be fun and flirty. When the lines begin to blur, Annie will have to decide what her perfect partner actually looks like.

I love Sarah Adams and I love her books but this one was just fine to me. I didn’t find it note worthy and I definitely didn’t love it near as much as some of her previous books. Honestly, I seem to prefer her Indie books more than her traditionally published ones.

I’ll still read everything she writes so it didn’t turn me off of her!

I enjoyed this continuation of the Walkers. Annie is getting her turn in love, she hopes… she wants a stable man ready to settle down and have a family. Annie is a little shy, maybe awkward unsure how to find the right guy.…
Enter Will…but he is unavailable, so he says he will help her practice and learn how to date.
Follow this journey in a sweet story! Thank Net Galley for the advanced copy.

I WAITED FOR THIS AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT. Annie is just all sunshine and cutenss. Annie asks will to help her do better dating, because she let's it get to her that some guy said she was boring. Will, being a sweatheart with tattoos decide to help Amy. My God, he's the kind of hot that rain turn into steam around him. He's HOT. How can help but fall for Annie? I mean, I fell for Annie!

I laughed so hard about the ghost/haunting in the attic? If that's a haunting sign me up!

Just what I expected it to be. Cute and quirky and sweet. Exactly the kind of small town romance that can easily be read in a couple sittings. The banter was adorable while being a bit cheesy at times, but that’s a romcom for ya. Solid enjoyable 3 stars. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams was a cute read but it has its drawbacks. The main character's cringe-worthy moments made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the romance and respect the characters. While the plot had potential, the over-the-top awkwardness often detracted from the story. Despite these issues, there are still some charming moments!

Cute and fun rom com from Sarah Adams. I loved the setting of this town and look forward to more in Rome, Kentucky!

Super cute romcom! This is my second Sarah
Adams book and she nailed it again! The build up friends to lovers and the dual POV made the book for me. The characters were very quick and witty

I am officially a Sarah Adams fan girl. Her romances are so charming and the small-town vibes of Rome, Kentucky (the setting for this novel and its predecessor) are perfect. Annie, the protagonist, is very well rounded and I loved seeing her grow throughout the story. I also enjoyed the chemistry between Annie and her love interest, Will. The next installment of this series cannot come soon enough!

[RECOMMENDATION] If you want a romance that is quick, fun, and oh so cute! You'll love Sarah Adams.

[SYNOPSIS] She's the small town sweetheart, and he's the emotionally unavailable bad boy. (Do you need more? Fine... if you do >) Annie wants to find someone who fits into her peaceful little life, running a local flower shop! However small town means... small dating pool. After a recent date calls her "boring", she decides she's the problem. "Hi, I'm the problem, it's me!" Well problems need solutions, and Annie's solution is a little *practice*. And who better to practice with than someone who she'd never fall in love with?! Will is hot, tattooed, and only in town temporarily. He wants zero attachments to this sleepy little town, and although he has no desire to help Annie change (he thinks she is fine the way she is), he can't help but say yes. Enter: fake dating, steamy practice dates, intense chemistry, blurred lines, and kicking your feet giggling moments

[REVIEW] This romance is my bread and butter. I always eat up what Sarah Adams writes, it's so much fun - and exactly what I am looking for! She kills it with the chemistry, and I love me some fake dating scenarios.

**This e-book was gifted to me from Ballantine Dell Books, and Netgalley, thank you! All opinions are my own.

This was my least favorite by Sarah Adams. It was a cute story, but her other tropes have been better executed. The characters just were not very exciting to me so I didn't see myself caring about their future.

After loving The Rule Book recently, I had to go back and finally read this one! I thought it was the sweetest romance and if I had known Annie was a socially awkward introvert, I would’ve read it sooner! I absolutely swooned over Will and together these two opposites had great chemistry, especially with the dual POV which I love! I also liked that it gave an inkling of whose story is next in this series.

Another enjoyable read by Sarah Adams, who is an author I generally really like, but rarely love. This was one of the best books so far.. I enjoyed the romance between the two main characters. Definitely recommend if you enjoy this author or this genre.
