I thought this book was about WWII survivors, but I was kind of mistaken, it focuses more on the soldier's journey and what they have to endure during both sides of the war, and is a story more about the perspective of what a soldier during the war what they go through.
it is a short book but it gives you a better perspective of a soldier's mentality during the battle of the Hurtgen forest, the author takes you on a journey where you can feel like you're living in war movies or in a war zone, the description of what the soldiers were going through is so real and so surreal at the same time that you feel like another actor or character in this novel, I really enjoy the book even if I don't read books about the military, but as I mentioned it really gives you the feel like you're walking in the area while the soldiers are shooting and having a hard time.
definitely, a lot of emotions and angst to feel while you're reliving the path of the character
it was a good book.
Thank you, NetGalley and One Nine Books, for the advanced copy of Sinner's Cross in exchange for my honest review
